DeSantisâs governorship has been disastrous for the state of Florida. A DeSantis presidency would be a catastrophe for the whole country. To name just a few of the radical, cruel, and authoritarian policies he wants to take to the national level: DeSantis signed a ban on abortion before most pregnancies are even discovered, made the state so dangerous that advisories have been issued for both people of color and LGBTQ+ people, and drove Disney, the stateâs biggest employer, to cancel a $1 billion investment in the state (including more than 2,000 jobs).
