This group epitomizes the hate and fear the Republican movement has towards LGBTQ+ people. They are using tactics like banning books and wrongly labeling education on LGBTQ+ topics as âgroomingâ or âsexual indoctrination" to undo our progress on equality. The vote to honor this hate group was scheduled to take place at the same time the Will County Board was voting to recognize Pride Month and Juneteenth.
