{NAME}, Bad polls. Rating changes in the wrong direction. Experts predicting a “Red Wave” here in the Valley. I promised to always be honest with you, so here it goes: it hasn’t been a great week for our campaign. When experts as smart as Nate Silver at FiveThirtyEight are saying we have a real chance of losing, and that the Central Valley could be the reason Democrats lose the House this November, it’s a tough pill to swallow. And it’s a hard week because I know so much is riding on this campaign for the future of our country. At a time when our rights and democracy are on the line, it’s incredibly scary to think about what it would mean if my opponent Tom Patti wins and hands control over to MAGA Republicans like Kevin McCarthy and Marjorie Taylor Greene. I know it’s difficult to feel excited about these midterms, but we cannot get complacent. It is elections like these that have MASSIVE impacts on our kids’ future. Trust me, Republicans are fired up in my district to take back control. That’s why I’m asking you to please chip in to support my campaign today so we can continue organizing this summer and reach more undecided voters.
