The probe will determine if Clinton and her staff violated federal law and protocol by using a private, off-site email server to exchange classified information and documents. [REPORT: DNC Refused to Allow Homeland Security to Investigate Hacked Server]( Former Director of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday, telling lawmakers his agency offered to help the Democratic National Committee investigate allegations of Russian hacking, but was ultimately rebuked by the party, reports Fox News. In his opening remarks to Congress, Johnson said his agency had previously offered to help the DNC look in to alleged Russian intrusion in to their computer systems, but was told the "DNC did not feel it needed DHS's assistance at this time."
