[View this email in your browser]( Bonhams Skinner is delighted to host its first auction dedicated solely to rare textiles. Vibrant colours and refined designs define the selection of antique Indian and European paisley shawls from the Chet Gadsby collection. Examples of textiles from across the globe include Medieval and Renaissance embroideries, colourful Swedish rölakans and finely woven Indonesian ikats. Exceptional and early pieces from Spain, North Africa, and several American textiles round out the auction. Shown above is an 18th-century Moroccan Azemmour embroidered silk panel. The auction will take place at the Bonhams Skinner Boston Gallery on 1 March 2023, beginning at 12pm EST. [Browse the auction online]( and preview in-person on 24, 27 and 28 February 2023.
