Abortion rights and so much else is on the line. [View in browser]( {NAME}, In nearly every election since the Supreme Court struck down Roe, Democrats have overperformed and people voting for Democrats have shown up to vote at extraordinary, and oftentimes unprecedented, rates. Part of the reason for the incredible surge of support for Democrats (and opposition to Republicans) is the extreme rightward shift of the GOP…but the main reason is much simpler: access to abortion and safe, reliable reproductive healthcare. I have witnessed this firsthand here in Louisiana, a state with the most extreme abortion law in the country. The people I talk to don’t mention party affiliation when we discuss what’s important to them; they are thinking about real world problems and want leaders who share their perspective and will work to fix those problems. Politicians—of any party—invading the privacy of women and families and threatening criminal prosecution for abortion is not something voters want, here or anywhere in America. But while my team and I are making progress and building massive support, we have only a little over two weeks until the first round of voting in this “jungle primary.” In Louisiana’s jungle primary, only the top two vote-getters advance to a runoff in November. This system is designed to give Democratic candidates less time to fundraise and campaign, handing Republicans an advantage at each step. That’s why we are pushing so hard right now, at the end of this FEC filing deadline, to raise the resources we need to beat the jungle primary system and advance to the runoff. My opponent is vulnerable, and has been on the record for making abortion illegal and possibly even criminal. We can win—we just need the support to get there. [Can you pitch in to help me do the work to win this first election and advance to a head-to-head matchup in November by contributing $25 or more to our EOQ goal of $8900 before the end of this week?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [Donate $5]( [Donate $10]( [Donate $25]( [Donate $50]( [Donate $100]( [Donate $250]( [Donate another amount](or [multiply your impact with a recurring contribution!]( It’s time to go on offense everywhere and fight to restore what was taken away from people by extreme and out of touch right wing politicians. Thank you for fighting back and supporting me in this race. Sincerely, -Britt Gondolfi [Donate]( Britt For Senate District 12 To contribute via check, please address to: P.O.
