Monthly product updates, pro-tips, and events from the Sentry team. Product updates for April 2017 W

Monthly product updates, pro-tips, and events from the Sentry team. [Sentry]( Product updates for April 2017 We just finished up Hack Week at Sentry. A lot of cool features we built will be rolled out in the next few weeks so keep on the look out. In the meantime, here's all the stuff the Sentry team worked on before hack week. Cheers! Product updates Six ways to reduce Javascript noise There are a number of steps you can take to reduce Javascript error noise like whitelisting URLs and using source maps. You can learn about more ways to reduce noise and focus on high priority issues [here](. Feel free to reach out directly in our [forum]( if you have any questions. —Ben The iOS struggle is real Similar to Ben’s post, I want to make sure you have a pleasant experience using Sentry for iOS. So this month, I wrote a massive [blogpost]( that breaks down how Sentry processes iOS crashes and what you can do to make sure you’re getting the most out of your configuration. —Armin $ npm install react-native-sentry --save Armin can’t steal my thunder this time… I just put the finishing touches on our new [React Native SDK]( to support cross-language stacktraces in iOS. If you’re using raven-js with React Native, our [docs]( will guide you through the installation process. —Daniel Billing update If you’re wondering why you haven’t received an update about migrating to our new subscription plan yet, hang in there, I haven’t forgotten you. We’re working on refining the experience with the new plan based on feedback we’ve received. I’ll be in touch soon with details on the migration process. —Jess A. Releases. Releases. Releases. It’s all I’ve been working on 😁. We're putting the final touches on the release of the releases (hehe), so uh…hold your horses. —Jess Pro-tips Customize how you group errors! Have you ever wondered why certain events are combined with sourcemaps and others aren’t? It’s because Sentry groups errors primarily by stacktrace and error type. If those attributes are similar enough, Sentry considers them the same error. You can read more about event rollups in the [docs]( and learn more on how to customize grouping [here](. —Kelly Upcoming Events [LonestarPHP]( April 20-22: Dallas, Texas [RailsConf]( April 25-27: Phoenix, Arizona [DevOps Days]( May 4-5: Austin, Texas [WeAreDevelopers]( May 11-12: Vienna, Austria [PyCon]( May 18-20: Portland, Oregon [GlueCon]( May 24-25: Denver, Colorado [Forge by Sentry]( October 30-31: Napa Valley, California We're Hiring!
