TEN: Brian Callahan to be new coach [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]( Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan is on track to become the Tennessee Titans new head coach, according to sources. Our view: Callahan has a proven track record of getting high-level play out of his quarterbacks. Most recently, Callahan had Joe Burrow with the Bengals but he also got quality play from Jake Browning in 2023. We'll have to see who the Titans move forward with as their starter, and it's up to Callahan to get the best out of them. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. SF: Christian McCaffrey with no quad issue? [Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio](=) San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (quadriceps) doesn't have an issue with his quadriceps, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Our view: McCaffrey is the centerpiece of what the 49ers do on offense. His play will be critical for the success of the team as they are one game away from the Super Bowl. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. BUF: No surgery for Josh Allen [Source: The Buffalo News - Jay Skurski](=) Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen (shoulder) said he does not need surgery on his injured shoulder at this point. Our view: At this point being the key wording here. Allen is a big-bodied quarterback, but he takes a lot of punishment and all those hits take a toll. We'll see later in the offseason how he's feeling, and moving forward he needs to consider how to take fewer hits while still making plays as a runner. [Back to Top](#top)
[] 4. BUF: Gabe Davis expected to test market [Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Michael David Smith](=) Buffalo Bills impending free-agent WR Gabe Davis said he is open to re-signing with the Bills this offseason but also expects to test the free-agent market to see what other teams will offer. Our view: Davis has been oft-injured in his pro career, so teams may be hesitant to give him a big-money deal in free agency. When healthy, Davis can be dominant...it's just the staying healthy thing that has been a problem for him at times. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. ATL: Bobby Slowik to have second ATL meeting [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport](=) Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik will have a second interview for the Atlanta Falcons head coaching spot Wednesday, Jan. 24. Our view: Slowik would be a perfect fit, but there's some tough competition for the top job in Atlanta. If added, Slowik would bring an explosive rushing attack featuring two quality runners in Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. LAC: LA Chargers nearing deal with Jim Harbaugh [Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo]() University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Los Angeles Chargers are reportedly within 'striking distance' of getting a deal done for Harbaugh to become the team's next head coach, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Our view: That sounds about right. The Chargers are a great landing spot for Harbaugh as he'll get to further develop QB Justin Herbert. This move has been expected for some time. Harbaugh will make the Chargers Super Bowl contenders sooner rather than later. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. LVR: Las Vegas settles on Tom Telesco as new GM [Source: Las Vegas Review-Journal - Vincent Bonsignore](=) Former Los Angeles Chargers general manager Tom Telesco is expected to become the new general manager of the Las Vegas Raiders, according to sources. Our view: This report has been rumored for some time, we just have to see when it's officially official. Telesco helped build the Chargers into a contender, and he could stay in the division to build up a rival in a similar way. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. CLE: GM would like Joe Flacco back [Source: The Chronicle-Telegram - Scott Petrak]() Cleveland Browns impending free-agent QB Joe Flacco is a player the Browns would like to re-sign this offseason, according to general manager Andrew Berry. Our view: Flacco played some good football for the Browns last year, and perhaps he'd be interested in returning in 2024 as a backup to Deshaun Watson. It seems like Flacco is in DGAF mode, and it seemed like he enjoyed his time in Cleveland. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. NFL: Arthur Smith drawing significant interest [Source: ESPN - Dianna Russini]( Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith has reportedly received serious interest from at least seven teams about filling an offensive coordinator vacancy, according to sources. Our view: Smith failed as head coach of the Falcons, but he can still craft a good offense. They need to have a good quarterback in place for Smith's offense to work, and having a good ground game would help. [Back to Top](#top)

â [] 10. CAR: Dan Morgan to be new GM [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport, James Palmer and Tom Pelissero]() Carolina Panthers assistant general manager Dan Morgan has been hired as the Panthers new general manager. Our view: Dan Morgan has worked his way up from a player to general manager. He will have to build talent around QB Bryce Young so the Panthers can get on the winning track. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. HOU: Tank Dell making progress [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (leg) said he is making good progress in his recovery from a broken fibula. Our view: Dell was phenomenal for the Texans before he was lost for the season with this leg injury. His play as a rookie is a good sign for his development - and chemistry with CJ Stroud - for 2024 and beyond. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. NO: Brian Griese interviews with Saints [Source: NewOrleans.Football - Nick Underhill](=) San Francisco 49ers quarterbacks coach Brian Griese interviewed for the New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator spot. Our view: Griese is a smart coach who understands the position as a former quarterback. The Saints are looking to help out their offense, and Griese could help them do that. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. NO: Klint Kubiak interviews with Saints [Source: NewOrleans.Football - Nick Underhill](=) San Francisco 49ers pass-game coordinator Klint Kubiak interviewed for the New Orleans Saints offensive coordinator spot. Our view: Kubiak is another 49ers coach the Saints are looking at in addition to Brian Griese. There are others up for the job, but the Saints want to find someone who can get the best out of Derek Carr. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. WAS: Anthony Weaver drawing HC interest [Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper](=) Baltimore Ravens assistant head coach and defensive line coach Anthony Weaver is among the list of candidates that will get a second interview to be the new head coach for the Washington Commanders, according to multiple sources. Weaver has also received a similar request from the Atlanta Falcons. Our view: The Ravens have a great team, and they will get coaches plucked from them because of it. Weaver is one of the fast risers in the coaching community, and we won't be surprised if he gets a head coaching job this cycle. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. LVR: Luke Getsy to interview with Raiders [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]() Former Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy will interview for the Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator post. Our view: With Antonio PIerce as the head coach, he needs to find a coach to run the offense. That could be Getsy, and then we'd have to see who else he would work with. Did QB Aidan O'Connell do enough to be considered the starter in 2024? We are fixing to find out. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. ATL: ATL seeks second Ben Johnson interview [Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein]( Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Benjamin Johnson has been requested for a second interview for the Atlanta Falcons head coaching position. Our view: Ben Johnson is the hottest name in coaching circles not named Jim Harbaugh. The Falcons seemed close to hiring Bill Belichick, but now it seems like Johnson could be moving into the first position for the job. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. NO: New Orleans gets to know Jerrod Johnson [Source: NewOrleans.Football](=) Houston Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson recently interviewed with the New Orleans Saints regarding their offensive coordinator vacancy. Our view: Johnson is a fast riser in the coaching world. A former quarterback, Johnson did wonders with CJ Stroud in 2023. The Saints could use some of that with Derek Carr or any young passer they draft. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. CIN: Andy Dickerson talks OC job with Cincinnati [Source: San Francisco Chronicle - Michael Silver](=) Former Seattle Seahawks offensive line coach Andy Dickerson interviewed for the offensive coordinator vacancy with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, Jan. 23. Our view: The Bengals have an opening because Brian Callahan took the head coaching job for the Titans. Joe Burrow will make it easy for any coordinator that takes over in Cincinnati. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. CAR: Brandt Tilis could join Carolina's front office [Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Charean Williams]( Kansas City Chiefs vice president of football operations Brandt Tilis appears to be considered the favorite to handle the financial portion of management duties with the Carolina Panthers, according to Joe Person of The Athletic. Our view: Per Person, the new position in the Panthers' front office will give the team someone with a salary cap and contracts background as well as a buffer between team owner David Tepper and new general manager Dan Morgan.
