LVR: Josh Jacobs not expected to play for Week 18 [Source: The Athletic - Vic Tafur]() Las Vegas Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (quadriceps) has been ruled out against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Jan. 7. Our view: You can start Zamir White with confidence for Week 18 matchups. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. PHI: DeVonta Smith not practicing Friday [Source: Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane](=) Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (ankle) is not practicing Friday, Jan. 5. Our view: The Eagles will only have something on the line in this game if the Cowboys lose to the Commanders, which is unlikely. Smith will sit to have him in the best possible shape for the likely wild card matchup with the NFC South winner next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. JAX: Trevor Lawrence questionable for season finale [Source: NFL Network - Cameron Wolfe]() Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) is expected to practice on a limited basis again on Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as questionable for Week 18 versus the Tennessee Titans, according to head coach Doug Pederson. Per Pederson, Lawrence will play this weekend if he is medically cleared to do so. Our view: Lawrence is shaping up as a game time decision, but we would expect that he'll play against the Titans. He has a low ceiling playing at less than 100% and carries risk of leaving the game, so he's not an advisable start this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. MIA: Raheem Mostert has a chance to play in Week 18 [Source: Pro Football Network - Adam Beasley]() Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee, ankle) will practice on a limited basis on Friday, Jan. 5, according to head coach Mike McDaniel, who added that he 'would not close the door' on Mostert playing against the Buffalo Bills in Week 18. Our view: Mostert will be a game time decision, which is not ideal since his game is the last of the NFL regular season. De'Von Achane is the only safe start in the Dolphins backfield this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. MIA: Miami holding out hope for Jaylen Waddle in finale [Source: Pro Football Network - Adam Beasley]() Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) will practice on a limited basis on Friday, Jan. 5, according to head coach Mike McDaniel, who added that he 'would not close the door' on Waddle playing against the Buffalo Bills in Week 18. Our view: Waddle is a game time decision, which puts fantasy players in a tough spot if they don't have a Sunday night wide receiver hedge like Gabe Davis or Khalil Shakir. The Dolphins are going to have to play next week no matter what happens against the Bills, so they may choose to rest Waddle to have him in the best possible condition for their wild card game. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. CIN: Joe Mixon practicing Friday [Source: The Athletic - Jay Morrison]( Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon (illness) is practicing Friday, Jan. 5. Our view: Mixon is more flex than RB2 this week, as the Bengals could give Chase Brown more work to see what they have for the future in Brown. Mixon is only due a little over $2 million in salary next year, but he does have a roster bonus of $3 million due on the fourth day of the league year, which begins on March 13. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. DET: Sam LaPorta on track to play [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Detroit Lions TE Sam LaPorta (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is not on the injury report for Week 18. Our view: Great news here as it looks like the Lions will have LaPorta available. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. MIA: Tyreek Hill expected to play [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is not on the injury report for Week 18. Our view: Great news for Hill and Miami. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. GB: Luke Musgrave could return Sunday [Source: SI.com - Bill Huber]( Green Bay Packers TE Luke Musgrave (kidney) has a 'realistic' chance to play on Sunday, Jan. 7, against the Chicago Bears, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Musgrave is currently on the Reserve/Injured list but has been designated to return. Our view: It sounds like Musgrave would certainly be ready for a playoff game next week if the Packers can beat the Bears and secure a spot. Since Musgrave went down, the Packers and fantasy teams have discovered they have a keeper in Tucker Kraft, so expect more two tight end sets from the Packers in the future. If Musgrave is active this week, it takes some of the shine off of Kraft as a Week 18 option. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. JAX: Zay Jones listed as questionable [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as questionable for Week 18. Our view: Jones is expected to play, which is good news for Calvin Ridley, Trevor Lawrence, and this pass offense that has performed much better when he has been out there this season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. NE: Bill Belichick has Monday meeting [Source: ESPN.com - Mike Reiss]() New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has a meeting scheduled Monday, Jan. 8, with owner Robert Kraft and team president Jonathan Kraft. According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, no decision on Belichick's future has been made, and this is an important meeting. 'They're going to be looking for some answers on why things have fallen off so dramatically this season,' Reiss said during an appearance on ESPN's Get Up. 'Robert Kraft has been very disappointed with the way this season has unfolded naturally, and people close to him relay to me that that disappointment has been so extreme to the point he has strongly considered moving on from Belichick.' Our view: The question of whether this is Belichick's last year in New England has probably been overshadowed by the question of where he will end up next. At this point, it would be a surprise if he is retained. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. TEN: DeAndre Hopkins expected to play [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is not on the injury report for Week 18. Our view: Hopkins can make an extra $500,000 if he gets seven catches for 39 yards in this game, so he's a good Week 18 play, assuming the team wants him to hit those incentive bonuses. CIN: Cincinnati's Week 18 injury report [Source: Bengals.com]() Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Week 18 versus the Cleveland Browns. CB Chidobe Awuzie (shoulder) did not practice on Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as questionable. CB Jalen Davis (groin) was limited in practice on Friday and is also listed as questionable. WR Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder), RB Joe Mixon (illness), QB Jake Browning (foot) and WR Trenton Irwin (hamstring) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. Our view: Chase is safe to put in Week 18 lineups, and should get a lot of targets with Higgins likely out. The Bengals will be playing a Browns team that will rest key starters ahead of a wild card weekend showdown at the AFC South champion. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. ATL: Atlanta's injury report for Week 18 [Source: AtlantaFalcons.com]( Atlanta Falcons DB DeMarcco Hellams (concussion) and C Drew Dalman (ankle) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 18 against the New Orleans Saints. LB Troy Andersen (pectoral) was limited in practice all week and has also been ruled out. QB Taylor Heinicke (ankle) and DE Zach Harrison (knee) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. CB Mike Hughes (concussion) was upgraded to full practice on Friday, Jan. 5, but is also listed as questionable. RB Cordarrelle Patterson (rest) and DE Calais Campbell (rest) practiced in full on Friday and are expected to be available. Our view: It's not clear if Heinicke or Desmond Ridder will start with the Falcons clinging to their hopes of backing into a division title with a win and Bucs loss at Carolina, but we would expect a run-heavy gameplan no matter who is taking snaps from center. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. TEN: Ryan Tannehill gets the nod in Week 18 [Source: Titans.com - Jim Wyatt]() Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill will start ahead of the injured Will Levis (foot) in Week 18 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. Our view: This doesn't really change the outlook for anyone in the Titans offense. They should be motivated to play spoiler and have a hand in who is crowned AFC South champ in a year that they will finish in last place. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. JAX: Christian Kirk questionable for Week 18 [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as questionable for Week 18. Our view: Kirk will be a game-time decision, but he is playing in an early time slot contest on Sunday, so you'll have plenty of hedge options if he is ruled out in a game the Jaguars need to claim the AFC South championship. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. DAL: CeeDee Lamb seeking to become top earner [Source: Dallas Morning News - Michael Gehlken]( Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb confirmed he's seeking to become the NFL's highest-paid receiver in the offseason. Our view: Lamb might also be the #1 drafted wide receiver in fantasy next season after he delivered champions in Week 17. He has had an astounding four games with at least 10 catches and 150 receiving yards since the Cowboys Week 7 bye. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. ARI: Marquise Brown open to re-signing in desert [Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban]() Arizona Cardinals WR Marquise Brown, an unrestricted free-agent in the offseason, said he's open to re-signing with the Cardinals. Our view: Brown will be one of the more interesting free agent cases to watch. He'll be one of the few potential starting wide receivers available on the market along with Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, Michael Pittman and Mike Evans - depending on who gets tagged. We can be sure that Brown will be allowed to test the market after an injury-marred season, so his value could change significantly this offseason. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. KC: Rashee Rice will not play in regular-season finale [Source: ArrowheadPride.com - Pete Sweeney](=) Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 18 against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to head coach Andy Reid. Our view: The Chiefs are locked into the #3 seed, so there's no reason for them to risk injury to any key players, save for Travis Kelce, who could sit once he gets the 16 yards he needs to go over 1000 and Chris Jones, who is also reportedly expected to play a bit on Sunday.
