MIA: Jaylen Waddle injury update [Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson](=) Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (ankle) has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, and the team is gathering more information about the injury, according to head coach Mike McDaniel. Our view: High-ankle sprains are known to take time to heal properly. That means Waddle may be done for the regular season as the Dolphins are looking to make a deep postseason run. Let's see what further information can be gathered about this injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. JAX: Sprained shoulder for Trevor Lawrence [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a sprained shoulder after undergoing an MRI on the injury, according to a source. Our view: Lawrence is tough as nails, but he's getting quite banged up at the end of this regular season. The injury is not believed to be serious, but his status for Week 17 is uncertain. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. LVR: Zamir White has terrific game [Source: ESPN.com]() Las Vegas Raiders RB Zamir White rushed for 145 yards on 22 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16. Our view: Josh Jacobs (quadriceps) missed the game, so White took over. His play helped lead the way for the Raiders as they won on the road against the Chiefs. White is tough as a runner, and he can gash a defense with his relentless style. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. NYG: Tommy DeVito benched [Source: The Bergen Record - Art Stapleton](=) New York Giants QB Tommy DeVito was benched during the Week 16 game and has been replaced by QB Tyrod Taylor. Our view: DeVito completed 9-of-16 passes for 55 yards in the Giants' Week 16 game against the Eagles. The Giants couldn't get much going with DeVito out there, and Giants HC Brian Daboll chose to go to the veteran instead. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. MIN: T.J. Hockenson could be done [Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler]() Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson's (knee) outlook is not good, and the team is hoping to be surprised by the MRI. His season could be over. Our view: Hockenson was hit on the knee in the third quarter and exited the game. It sounds like he'll miss the final two weeks of the regular season. Josh Oliver and Johnny Mundt take over at the position, but there's little fantasy value here. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. KC: Six receptions for Rashee Rice [Source: ESPN.com]() Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice caught six passes for 57 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16. He was targeted 12 times during the game. Our view: Rice has perhaps the best connection with QB Patrick Mahomes of those not named Travis Kelce. He didn't get into the end zone, so Fantasy GMs who had him as a flex play got about what they expected. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. LVR: Davante Adams limited to four yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams caught one pass for four yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16. He was targeted six times during the game. Our view: Rookie QB Aidan O'Connell went to Adams, but the two did not connect much. The officials did not throw a pass interference penalty on one of those targets, and going forward the duo will have to work on a better connection. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. LVR: Aidan O'Connell finishes with 62 yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Las Vegas Raiders QB Aidan O'Connell went 9-for-21 for 62 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 16. Our view: The rookie couldn't do much, but the team won and that's all that matters. O'Connell didn't turn the ball over, and that helped the team (along with the defense and the rushing attack). [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. MIN: Jordan Addison considered week-to-week [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) is considered week-to-week with a sprained ankle. Our view: Addison has flashed skill as a rookie, but this ankle injury is a potentially disappointing way to end his first pro season. Week-to-week with only two weeks left means Addison may not play a game the rest of this year. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. KC: Zero receptions for Marquez Valdes-Scantling [Source: ESPN.com]() Kansas City Chiefs WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling was targeted one time during the Week 16 game against the Las Vegas Raiders but finished the game with zero receptions. Our view: Valdes-Scantling wasn't getting open, and when he did it fell incomplete. He's not on the same page with QB Patrick Mahomes, and Fantasy GMs weren't counting on him anyway. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. KC: Patrick Mahomes finishes with 288 total yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes went 27-for-44 for 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16. He also rushed for 53 yards on 10 carries during the game. Our view: Mahomes was just off in this game against the Raiders. He was running around to pick up yards with his legs as the Raiders' coverage did their job. When Mahomes did go to pass, his guys were out of position or his passes were off the mark. He was visibly upset for most of the game, and the superstar quarterback couldn't get his team going even after a sideline tirade. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
