IND: Michael Pittman Jr. no longer in protocol [Source: FOX Sports - Ben Arthur](=) Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (concussion) is 'good to go' for Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons after passing through the league's concussion protocol on Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: He's officially listed as "Questionable" so keep an eye on his status for Sunday but things are trending positively. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. IND: Jonathan Taylor expected to play in Week 16 [Source: FOX Sports - Ben Arthur](=) Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (thumb) will reportedly be listed as questionable on the team's final Week 16 injury report, but he is expected to play versus the Atlanta Falcons, per head coach Shane Steichen. Our view: Taylor has missed the last three weeks with this thumb injury. He's going to be out there against the Falcons, and his backup Zack Moss (forearm) is likely out. That means Taylor could have a full workload, and for Fantasy GMs he's got RB1 upside. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. JAX: Trevor Lawrence has decent chance to play in Week 16? [Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo]() Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (concussion) appears to be on the right side of having a 50-50 chance at playing in Week 16 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to head coach Doug Pederson on Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: It sounds like Lawrence is a true game-time decision for Week 16. If Lawrence can't play, CJ Beathard would get the start. If Beathard starts, downgrade the players in the passing game. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. HOU: C.J. Stroud ruled out [Source: KPRC.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) was ruled out for the Week 16 game against the Cleveland Browns, according to sources Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: The Texans will go with veteran QB Case Keenum again. This time against the Cleveland Browns, things could be rough for the Texans' offense. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. ARI: Hollywood Brown ruled out [Source: AZCardinals.com]() Arizona Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (heel) was ruled out for the Week 16 matchup against the Chicago Bears, the team announced Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: Brown hasn't been effective in recent weeks, and now he'll miss the game against the Bears. That means the Cardinals will be looking to involve rookie WR Michael Wilson and TE Trey McBride more often. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. HOU: Noah Brown expected to play [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Houston Texans WR Noah Brown (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 16. Our view: Great news for Brown and the Texans. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. TEN: Will Levis 50-50 for Week 16 [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis (ankle) was upgraded to limited practice on Friday, Dec. 22, and will be listed as questionable on the team's final Week 16 injury report, according to head coach Mike Vrabel. Our view: Levis is a game-time decision, and the Titans may want to see him play as he further develops as the quarterback of the future. If his ankle is too bad, Ryan Tannehill is ready to start in Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. NE: Hunter Henry practicing Friday [Source: NESN - Zack Cox](=) New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry (knee) was spotted at practice Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: Henry missed the first two days of practice due to this knee injury. The team travels to play Denver on Sunday night, and the Broncos struggle to stop tight ends. If Henry can't play, Mike Gesicki would get the start and would be a deep sleeper at the tight end position. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. IND: Zack Moss not practicing Friday [Source: Indianapolis Star - Nate Atkins]() Indianapolis Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) is not practicing Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: It looks like Moss is going to miss Week 16. Good thing for the Colts that Jonathan Taylor (thumb) should be out there against the Falcons after missing the last three games. [Back to Top](#top) Help Footballguys Get Even Better in 2024 I've long said there's not a smarter group of Fantasy GMs on the planet than our Footballguys Premium Subscribers. We'd like to hear from you about your experience with our in-season tools and features. We'll put your insights to work as we improve our offerings for the 2024 season. NE: Bill Belichick doesn't want to go [Source: The Boston Globe - Ben Volin]( New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick doesn't want to leave his post as head coach and has no intentions of resigning after the season. Our view: There have been various reports about the decision already being made and Belichick moving on. Now, this report says he doesn't want to leave. We feel like the Patriots will make a change, but if they end the season on a high note then perhaps there's a chance Belichick could stay. At this moment, the Patriots have the no.2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft and that could be a quarterback like Drake Maye (North Carolina) for Belichick. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. IND: Anthony Richardson ahead of schedule [Source: CBS 4 Indianapolis - Mike Chappell]() Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) could be cleared to resume throwing soon and is ahead of schedule eight weeks after surgery. Our view: Good news for the young playmaker here. Richardson looked great when he played earlier this year, but he just couldn't stay healthy - missing time in all but one of the four games he played (and he missed a game too.) We'll see Richardson take over next year as the team's starter and franchise quarterback. Let's see if he can do a better job of protecting himself. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. NE: Rhamondre Stevenson still not practicing [Source: NESN - Zack Cox](=) New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) is not practicing Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: Stevenson hasn't practiced all week. That means Ezekiel Elliott will be the bellcow on Sunday night against the Broncos. Denver has a bad run defense (32nd in the league), so Elliott could finish Week 16 as a top-10 fantasy option at the running back position. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. MIA: De'Von Achane in line to play in Week 16 [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (toe) is expected to play in Week 16 versus the Dallas Cowboys, according to head coach Mike McDaniel. Our view: Having Achane out there gives the Dolphins another weapon to attack the Cowboys with. Fantasy GMs should be looking at Achane as an RB2 with upside in PPR formats. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. WAS: Brian Robinson to miss second straight game [Source: The Athletic - Ben Standig](=) Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) was ruled out for Week 16 against the New York Jets on Friday, Dec. 22. Our view: The Commanders were without Robinson last week. They'll go with an RBBC featuring Chris Rodriguez and Antonio Gibson. From a fantasy perspective, we like both as deep flex plays or even 'what the heck' flex plays in Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. MIA: Optimism surrounding Tyreek Hill's Week 16 status [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) has encountered no setbacks during practice this week and performed well enough to make head coach Mike McDaniel feel good about the receiver's ability to play in Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys. Our view: That's good news for the Dolphins. This is a huge game against the Cowboys in Week 16. The Dolphins want to beat a good team and show they are a force to deal with in the postseason. If Hill plays, he's his normal WR1 as per usual. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family. We'll see you tomorrow with the Update. Enjoy the games and make sure you have those Saturday lineups set.
