Plus - Rashee Rice Continues To Impress  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ 12/18/23 [Unsubscribe |]( [Read Online]() | [Join]( | [GO PRO](=) Howdy {NAME}[,](=) This league never fails to deliver. KC: Rashee Rice plays well in Week 15 [Source: ESPN.com]() Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice caught nine passes for 91 yards and one touchdown against the New England Patriots in Week 15. He was targeted nine times during the game. Our view: Rice has arrived as an everyweek start and arguably a fantasy WR1. He has at least seven catches in each of the last four games and touchdowns in three of them. The Raiders will try to contain him next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. CLE: David Njoku has giant performance [Source: ESPN.com]() Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku ended up with 10 receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears. Our view: Njoku has hit his peak since Joe Flacco took over for the Browns. Flacco trusts him to make plays in very small windows, like on his touchdown, and that trust is only growing heading into a fantasy-friendly matchup with the Texans. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. TB: Outstanding game for Baker Mayfield [Source: ESPN.com]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield went 22-for-28 for 381 yards and four touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15. He did lose a fumble during the game. Our view: Mayfield was a playoff hero today in fantasy leagues and he might get the Bucs back to the playoffs if he keeps playing like this. A matchup with the Jaguars is up next week and Mayfield has played his way into contention to start in 1QB leagues. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. HOU: Devin Singletary has outstanding game [Source: ESPN.com]() Houston Texans RB Devin Singletary rushed for 121 yards on 26 carries against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. He also caught four passes for 49 yards during the game. Our view: Singletary had a walk off score in overtime called back by penalty, so he still had plenty of stamina despite never really being used consistently as a feature back. Singletary will be in fantasy lineups next week despite the tough matchup against the Browns. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. BUF: Cook scores as runner and receiver in win [Source: ESPN.com]() James Cook ran the ball 25 times for 179 yards and a touchdown and caught two of three targets for 24 yards and a score in the 31-10 win over Dallas. Our view: The Bills were a run heavy team for the first time in the Josh Allen era. The running backs combined for 39 carries compared to only 15 pass attempts for Allen. If your fantasy team went home because you depended on the Bills passing game, blame the Cowboys for not forcing Buffalo to open up the offense. Buffalo's offense is finally showing balance, which will help them in the playoffs if they make it. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. GB: Dontayvion Wicks leads team in receiving [Source: ESPN.com]() Green Bay Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks caught six passes for 97 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15. He was targeted seven times during the game. Our view: Wicks was getting open downfield with ease and making the Packers look smart for taking him in the fifth round this year. When all of their young wide receivers and tight ends get healthy at the same time, the Packers will have a nice variety of targets for Jordan Love. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. LAR: Williams runs for 152 yards and one touchdown [Source: ESPN.com]() Kyren Williams ran the ball 27 times for 152 yards and a score and added five catches for three yards in the 28-20 win over Washington. Our view: Williams now stands at 953 yards with three games to go and will be a 1000 yard rusher as long as he stays healthy despite missing four games. He has been one of the surprise breakout players of the year and will lead many teams into the fantasy semifinals after being on the waiver wire in many leagues after Week 1. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. SF: McCaffrey scores three times in romp [Source: ESPN.com]() Christian McCaffrey ran the ball 18 times for 115 yards and a score and added five catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns in the 45-29 win over Arizona. Our view: McCaffrey was a golden ticket to the semis in a dominant performance. He's almost certainly going to win the rushing title this year by a large margin. Baltimore will be a tougher matchup for the 49ers offense next week. San Francisco hasn't been held under 27 points since their Week 9 bye. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. TB: Rachaad White productive in run, pass game [Source: ESPN.com]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Rachaad White rushed for 89 yards on 21 carries against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15. He also caught two passes for 50 yards and one touchdown during the game. Our view: White had a long run to ice the game and scored yet another long touchdown on a reception. He has cemented his spot as the lead back for Bucs long term, and as everyweek fantasy start, helping many teams get to the playoffs and win today. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. CLE: Amari Cooper hits century mark [Source: ESPN.com]() Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper posted a game-high 109 yards with a touchdown on four catches and eight targets in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears. Our view: Cooper has come alive since Joe Flacco was installed at quarterback. Flacco pushes the ball downfield, unlike the other Browns quarterbacks this year, and that mattered when he scored the game-tying touchdown in the fourth quarter. Cooper has a lot of momentum heading into a great matchup with the Texans. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. ARI: Brown leaves game without a catch [Source: ESPN.com]() Marquise Brown left the Week 15 with a heel injury and did not record a target. Our view: This injury was a problem before the bye, but Brown was supposedly good to go this week despite leaving early. He's heading into free agency and might not want to push the injury in three meaningless games, beginning with a game at Chicago next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. KC: Jerick McKinnon accounts for two TDs [Source: ESPN.com]() Kansas City Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon caught three passes for 19 yards and one touchdown against the New England Patriots in Week 15. He also rushed for 11 yards on four carries and threw a four-yard touchdown pass during the game. Our view: McKinnon has been a flexworthy pass in both games that Isiah Pacheco missed, but it's not certain that he'll be a good play if Pacheco can return from shoulder surgery next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. TB: Chris Godwin finishes with 155 yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin caught 10 passes for 155 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15. He was targeted 12 times during the game. Our view: Godwin finally had a big game, but coming into the week questionable, he might not have been in many lineups. If teams survived leaving this stat line on the bench, they'll have the chance to play Godwin against the Jaguars next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. CIN: Ja'Marr Chase day-to-day [Source: The Athletic - Paul Dehner Jr.]( Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) is considered day-to-day because of the shoulder injury he suffered during the Week 15 game. Our view: Chase won't get any extra rest with the Bengals playing at Pittsburgh next Saturday. With Jake Browning shockingly getting Cincinnati back into the playoff picture, expect Chase to find a way to play. He'll be a boom/bust play as he has been since Browning took over, but with less possibility of the boom and more of the bust. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. DAL: Prescott stymied by Bills [Source: ESPN.com]() Dak Prescott completed 21 of 34 pass attempts for 134 yards, no touchdowns and an interception, adding 27 yards on four rush attempts. Our view: The Bills defense was spirited all day and slowed down the hottest offense in the league. Prescott fantasy teams were flying high into the first round of the playoffs, but absorbing one of the worst quarterback results of the day will be difficult to overcome. CeeDee Lamb at least ran a garbage time touchdown in from three yards out to boost his 7-53 line. [Back to Top](#top) The best things sent in the Footballguys Group Chat today: - 🎄 Christmas got here early. [Bijan Robinson was checking off a fan's Christmas list.](=) - 😬 His face says it all. [Aaron Rodgers might second guess his return this season.](=) - 🤝 Family. [The Diggs brothers arriving together for the game is dope.]() - 😅 Poor Jets. [Does this even count as playing football anymore?]() - 😳 No disrespect to [Bill Belichick but this graphic is tough to look at.](=) [] 16. GB: Jayden Reed suffers injury [Source: Packers.com](=) Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed (toe) suffered a toe injury during the Week 15 game and is considered questionable to return. Our view: Reed had one of the best toe tap touchdowns you'll see in any season, but also suffered this injury. He was still a strong play in a week most had him in their fantasy playoff lineups. The Packers playoff hopes took a blow today, but they're still in the picture and will hope to have Reed and Christian Watson back next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. GB: Touchdown for Tucker Kraft [Source: ESPN.com]() Green Bay Packers TE Tucker Kraft caught four passes for 57 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15. He was targeted six times during the game. Our view: Kraft's run after catch prowess was on display again with a hurdle on a long catch and run and ruggedness on his way into the end zone on a short catch. He shouldn't be on any dynasty waiver wires and should be in lineups against the Panthers next week if you don't have a sure thing at tight end. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. HOU: Noah Brown catches TD pass [Source: ESPN.com]() Houston Texans WR Noah Brown caught eight passes for 82 yards and one touchdown against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. He was targeted 11 times during the game. Our view: Brown did an excellent job as the Texans #1 receiver with their third string quarterback. It was a brilliant move if you trusted him, although the Titans don't have any corners the caliber of Denzel Ward, who will be on Brown next week if Nico Collins isn't ready to play. If Collins can go, Brown will be a good WR3/Flex option. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. NE: Knee issue for Hunter Henry [Source: Patriots.com]() New England Patriots TE Hunter Henry (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 15 game and is considered questionable to return. Our view: Henry is definitely one of Bailey Zappe's favorite targets and he had a strong fantasy showing before suffering this injury. We'll see if he is ready to play the Broncos next week after they just gave up three touchdowns to Sam LaPorta. [Back to Top](#top) [] 20. CHI: DJ Moore targeted eight times [Source: ESPN.com]() Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore ended up with four receptions for a game-high 52 yards on eight targets in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns. Our view: Moore was short-circuited by the return of Denzel Ward. That this is a floor game for him is a good picture of his fantasy value growth this year, but it was a tough week for it to come if you were in the fantasy playoffs. Next week against the Cardinals should be better. [Back to Top](#top) [] 21. ARI: James Conner productive in loss [Source: ESPN.com]() James Conner ran the ball 14 times for 86 yards and a score, adding three yards on three receptions. Our view: The 49ers also allowed a 49-yard touchdown run to Emari Demercado, so defending the run will be the emphasis for the defense in practice this week, heading into a matchup with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Conner will be a flex play against an emerging Bears defense in Week 16. [Back to Top](#top) [] 22. CLE: Joe Flacco tosses two touchdowns [Source: ESPN.com]() Cleveland Browns QB Joe Flacco completed 28-of-44 passes for 374 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears, while running once for minus-1 yard. Our view: Flacco threw a pick six, but recovered to lead the Browns back from a deficit to win in the fourth quarter, with a heart attack moment when a pick six fell into Darnell Mooney's lap, but he couldn't secure it. Flacco is a solid QB2/Superflex against the Texans next week and he's has revived the value of Amari Cooper and David Njoku. [Back to Top](#top) [] 23. HOU: Dalton Schultz catches four passes [Source: ESPN.com]() Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz caught four passes for 58 yards against the Tennessee Titans in Week 15. He was targeted five times during the game. Our view: Schultz saved Case Keenum from an interception in the red zone and looked healthy in his return to the field. Brevin Jordan isn't going to be a threat to his fantasy value, so he can be trusted as a high floor TE1 against the Browns next week, especially if CJ Stroud is back. [Back to Top](#top) [] 24. KC: Clyde Edwards-Helaire posts 101 total yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Kansas City Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for 37 yards on 13 carries against the New England Patriots in Week 15. He also caught four passes for 64 yards and one touchdown during the game. Our view: Edwards-Helaire had a 48-yard gain on an uncontested screen pass and skied to catch a Patrick Mahomes improvisational pass for his touchdown. If Isiah Pacheco can't return to the field next week as expected, Edwards-Helaire will be a flex play. [Back to Top](#top) [] 25. CHI: Justin Fields picked off twice [Source: ESPN.com]() Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields completed 19-of-40 passes for 166 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Week 15 against the Cleveland Browns, while rushing seven times for 30 yards. Our view: Fields had a hail mary literally fall into Darnell Mooney's lap, but Mooney could not secure it. The Browns defense was back in top form with the return of Denzel Ward and they should be a tough draw for the Texans next week. Fields will be a good play against the Cardinals as long as the weather in Chicago isn't too bad. [Back to Top](#top) [] 26. ATL: Drake London good for two grabs [Source: ESPN.com]() Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London ended up with two receptions for 24 yards on three targets in Week 15 against the Carolina Panthers. Our view: London was a victim of the weather and a conservative Desmond Ridder offense one week after his biggest game of the season. He'll be a boom/bust WR3/Flex against the Colts if you survived this dud. [Back to Top](#top) [] 27. ATL: Desmond Ridder with one touchdown [Source: ESPN.com]() Atlanta Falcons QB Desmond Ridder completed 12-of-20 passes for 152 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons, while running five times for minus-2 yards. Our view: Ridder had a terrible red zone interception in the fourth quarter that led to the loss. He and Arthur Smith have made all Falcons players inconsistent and tough to trust in fantasy. That plus a torrential downpour probably ended a lot of fantasy seasons and maybe even Ridder's stint as the starter. [Back to Top](#top) [] 28. NYJ: Breece Hall does next to nothing [Source: ESPN.com]() New York Jets RB Breece Hall rushed six times for just 12 yards in Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins, and he added a 6-yard reception on his only catch on two targets. Our view: The steady diet of receptions that kept Hall's fantasy value afloat dried up today in Miami. A much better matchup agains the Commanders is up next week, but this one was tough to survive if you had Hall in your lineup. [Back to Top](#top) [] 29. TEN: Derrick Henry has forgettable afternoon [Source: ESPN.com]() Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry rushed 16 times for just nine yards in Week 15 against the Houston Texans, while adding four receptions for a single yard on his four targets. Our view: Henry was a painful dud in a game many had been looking forward to since the schedule was announced. He'll get a chance to redeem himself against the Texans again in two weeks, but fantasy teams that relied on him may not be so lucky. [Back to Top](#top) [] 30. WAS: Howell throws one pick, one touchdown before getting benched [Source: ESPN.com]() Sam Howell completed 11 of 26 passes for 102 yards and one touchdown with one interception before getting benched for Jacoby Brissett in the loss to the Rams. Head coach Ron Rivera said after the game that Howell will remain the starter against the Jets next week. Our view: Brissett threw two scores in garbage time and actually made the Rams sweat. One was to Terry McLaurin, who ended up with six catches for 141 yards on the day, his best fantasy showing of the season, and first 100+ yard game of the season. Fantasy players would be forgiven for wishing that Howell was benched for next week. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
