MIN: Justin Jefferson questionable for Week 15 [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (chest) was upgraded to a full practice on Thursday, Dec. 14, but is listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Our view: Jefferson wants to play, and fully participating is a good sign. Having him out there will greatly help a passing game now led by QB Nick Mullens in Week 15. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. MIN: Alexander Mattison will not play in Week 15 [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 15 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. Our view: Ty Chandler is the top back for the Vikings with Mattison out. Kene Nwangwu will get some work too. We like Chandler's speed and his ability to create yards after contact. Fantasy GMs should consider him an RB2/flex in Week 15. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. MIN: Jordan Addison slumping [Source: ESPN.com]( Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison has been held under 70 receiving yards in five straight games, and he has failed to reach 50 receiving yards in his last three contests. Our view: He was getting seven targets per game for a chunk of the season, but in Week 14 that was not the case. Addison caught 2-of-3 targets for 27 yards in the Vikings' Week 14 win against the Raiders. We'll see how QB Nick Mullens does when it comes to regularly targeting the rookie wideout. We like Addison as a WR4/deep flex play in Week 15 against the Bengals. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. NO: Dennis Allen may be safe [Source: SaintsWire - John Sigler](=) New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen's job could be safe as the feeling is the Saints don't want to make a change. Our view: The Saints are okay with Allen in charge, but the question remains whether they can be a legit Super Bowl contender one day with him in charge. Entering 2024 if the Saints don't make a change, Allen will be under a lot of pressure to get his team to the postseason. At 6-7 so far this season, the Saints are on the bubble and trying to push for the playoffs this year. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. GB: No practice again for AJ Dillon [Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman]() Green Bay Packers RB AJ Dillon (thumb) missed practice for a second consecutive day on Thursday, Dec. 14. Our view: Head coach Matt LaFleur declined to answer any questions regarding whether Dillon broke his thumb in Week 14 against the New York Giants but told the media he would give his running back until game day to decide if he can play in Week 15 versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. HOU: C.J. Stroud still not practicing [Source: KPRC.com - Aaron Wilson]() Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) is not practicing and remains in the protocol Thursday, Dec. 14. Our view: The Texans may be going with Davis Mills this week. Stroud needs to practice and then see how his body responds to get out of the protocol. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. HOU: Nico Collins a no-go on Thursday [Source: KPRC.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans WR Nico Collins (calf) did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Dec. 14. Our view: This is not a good sign for his availability in Week 15. The Texans may be turning more to guys like Noah Brown and Robert Woods if Collins is out. [Back to Top](#top) The best things sent in the Footballguys Group Chat today: - 😂 Cam Jordan [might be the funniest guy in the league.]() - 🎅 Dear Santa, the [Chicago Bears wishlist is pretty simple this year.](=) - 🏀 The Detroit Pistons are [so bad that even the youths are fed up.]() - 🫠Anyone who didn’t make their [fantasy playoffs definitely broke out this excuse.]() [] 8. NYG: Darren Waller designated to return [Source: Giants.com]() New York Giants TE Darren Waller (hamstring) was designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Dec. 14. Our view: Let's see what Waller can do the rest of the week in practice. Fantasy GMs can count on him for TE1 production upon his return, especially with QB Tommy DeVito coming through for the passing game. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. KC: Isiah Pacheco not practicing Thursday [Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher](=) Kansas City Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) is not practicing Thursday, Dec. 14. Our view: Pacheco has shoulder issues because he's a banger who plays with little regard for his body. He missed last week's game against the Bills, and not practicing on Thursday means the angriest runner in the league might be on the sidelines again in Week 15. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. DEN: Denver designates Greg Dulcich to return [Source: NFLCommunications.com](=) Denver Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) was designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Dulcich is going to be a big part of what this team does on offense upon his return. The Broncos need a second target other than WR Courtland Sutton, and Dulcich may be that guy. Let's see if he can be activated to play against the Lions on Saturday night. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. DET: Detroit keeping Amon-Ra St. Brown involved [Source: ProFootballTalk.com](=) Detriot Lions QB Jared Goff told reporters they are trying to get WR Amon-Ra St. Brown the ball 'in certain ways a little bit better than we have in the last couple weeks,' according to sources Thursday, Dec. 14. Our view: Up against the Broncos, and All-Pro CB Pat Surtain on Saturday night, it will be interesting to see if the Lions can get St. Brown more involved. From a fantasy perspective, we like St. Brown as his normal WR1 for GMs out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. MIA: Week 15 status uncertain for De'Von Achane [Source: The Miami Herald - Daniel Oyefusi](=) Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (toe) did not practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13, and his status for Thursday's walk-through is 'unknown,' according to head coach Mike McDaniel. Our view: Fantasy GMs would love to have Achane out there in the first week of the fantasy playoffs. If Achane is down, Raheem Mostert will be in for a sizable workload. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. IND: Jonathan Taylor to miss third straight game [Source: FOX Sports - Ben Arthur](=) Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (thumb) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Our view: We've got clarity on the situation, and Fantasy GMs know what to do. Zack Moss is the lead back without Taylor, and he's got RB1 upside in Week 15. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family. We'll see you tomorrow with the Update. Peace, J PS.
