LAC: Keenan Allen to miss Week 15 [Source: Chargers.com]() Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (heel) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13, and has been ruled out for Week 15. The Chargers did not hold a practice Wednesday, so his practice participation is an estimation. Our view: Fantasy GMs with a crucial blow right as the fantasy playoffs begin this week. Without Allen, rookie first-round pick Quentin Johnston will be tasked with doing more. The Chargers may also get Joshua Palmer back from injury this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. HOU: C.J. Stroud not practicing [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) is not taking part in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Stroud will have to get through the league's concussion protocol before he's cleared to play against the Titans. If the rookie phenom needs more time to heal, the Texans would turn to Davis Mills as their starter. MIN: Justin Jefferson plans to play [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (chest) plans to play in Week 15, he told reporters on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Let's see what Jefferson can do later in the week. The Vikings have now moved to Nick Mullens as their starter, and it would greatly benefit him and the offense if Jefferson could get out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. NE: Bill Belichick reportedly out after season [Source: NBC Sports Boston - Tom E. Curran]() New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is set to part ways with the Patriots after the season, according to sources. Our view: This isn't official but that's been the buzz this season. We'll have to see if Patriots' owner Robert Kraft moves on from one of the best to ever be a head coach in this league. Things have fallen apart for Belichick after Tom Brady left, mainly because they kept trying to make Mac Jones a thing (he's not). Belichick would be out of work for 2.5 seconds if the Patriots fired him. There are plenty of rumors that the Los Angeles Chargers might be interested...but they have to fire Brandon Staley (likely after the regular season) first. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. HOU: Noah Brown not practicing [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans WR Noah Brown (knee) is not taking part in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: He can get out there again this week, but the Texans need him to produce. Brown was held without a catch on five targets in the Texans' Week 14 loss to the Jets. That makes two games in a row that he's played but failed to have a catch. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. HOU: Nico Collins sitting Wednesday [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans WR Nico Collins (calf) is not participating in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: There are a lot of questions surrounding the Texans' passing game as they prepare for Week 15 (and Fantasy GMs prepare for the first round of the fantasy playoffs). QB C.J. Stroud is in the league's concussion protocol, so even if Collins plays against the Titans (reports say he wants to) we're not even sure who will be throwing him the ball. Let's see what all of these banged-up Texans can do on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. JAX: Trevor Lawrence to practice fully [Source: ESPN.com - Michael DiRocco](=) Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle) will be a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Lawrence showed off his toughness last week, playing in Week 14 despite having an ankle injury that many thought would keep him out a week or two. He's practicing fully on Wednesday, and Lawrence should be ready to go in Week 15 against the Ravens. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. CHI: DJ Moore misses practice [Source: ChicagoBears.com](=) Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: The veteran receiver is likely getting some rest here after a big game on Sunday. Moore caught six passes for 68 yards and one touchdown against the Detroit Lions in Week 14. He also rushed for 20 yards and one touchdown on three carries during the game. This week against the Browns, we believe Fantasy GMs can project him as a top-10 fantasy wideout. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. BAL: Devin Duvernay placed on IR [Source: BaltimoreRavens.com]( Baltimore Ravens WR Devin Duvernay (back) was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, Dec. 13. In addition, Baltimore signed QB Malik Cunningham off the New England Patriots' practice squad. Our view: Duvernay is a return man for the Ravens. They'll turn to Tylan Wallace in that position while Duvernay is out. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. MIA: Raheem Mostert not on field [Source: ESPN.com - Rich Cimini](=) Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13. The Dolphins did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation. Our view: It's an interesting note, but this is a practice estimation. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. CAR: Adam Thielen rests Wednesday [Source: Panthers.com]( Carolina Panthers WR Adam Thielen (rest) did not take part in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Insert the normal "Thielen gets a veteran rest day on Wednesday" blurb here. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. TEN: Tyjae Spears making them miss [Source: Sports Info Solutions](=) Tennessee Titans RB Tyjae Spears has forced a broken or missed tackle on 24.2 percent of his 66 rush attempts this season, according to Sports Info Solutions. The mark is good for third in the league among all players with at least 50 carries. Our view: We love - LOVE - Spears in dynasty formats. He's behind Derrick Henry, but Spears clearly can be a starter in this league. When Spears gets a chance, he could be a team's Alvin Kamara as he can produce as both a runner and receiver out of the backfield. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. BAL: Odell Beckham listed as limited [Source: BaltimoreRavens.com]( Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. (non-injury) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Beckham is just getting some rest. He's coming on at the end of the year, so Fantasy GMs can trust him as a WR3/flex in the fantasy playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) The best things sent in the Footballguys Group Chat today: - 💪 The Chiefs might have lost last week, [but the bench press celly is undefeated.]() - 🗣️ We're giving our teams a much-needed[pep talk before the playoffs start.]() - 😳 You won’t believe how many [custom suits Tommy Devito’s agent owns.]() - 🇧🇷 It’s official. [The NFL is headed to Brazil.]( - 😂 Mike McDaniels [loves some sick uniforms.](=) [] 14. BUF: Dalton Kincaid limited Wednesday [Source: Buffalo Bills PR]() Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (thumb, shoulder) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Buffalo's injury report was an estimation after the team only conducted a walkthrough. Our view: Kincaid's snaps and targets are being cut into now that Dawson Knox has returned. We still appreciate the rookie's skill set, but in round one of the fantasy playoffs, you may have better options to turn to at the position. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. CIN: Jake Browning incredibly precise [Source: Sports Info Solutions](=) Cincinnati Bengals QB Jake Browning has thrown a catchable pass on 96.9 percent of his 102 pass attempts this season, according to Sports Info Solutions. Our view: Browning can sling the rock - he always has done that dating back to his days in high school. Undrafted out of Washington in 2019, Browning has taken some time but he seems to be flourishing with the Bengals. Joe Burrow is a superstar, but Browning looks like a nice backup and spot starter - at least - in the pros. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. JAX: Jamal Agnew designated to return [Source: FOX Sports - Ben Arthur]( Jacksonville Jaguars WR Jamal Agnew (shoulder, ribs) was designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Getting Agnew out there as a return man is a boost for the Jaguars. His 21-day practice window is now open, and there's a chance the speedster could be out there against the Ravens on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. LAC: No designation for Joshua Palmer [Source: Chargers.com]() Los Angeles Chargers WR Joshua Palmer (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 15. The Chargers did not hold a practice Wednesday, so his practice participation is an estimation. Our view: Palmer could be back this week, so when the Chargers do actually practice this will be something to monitor. With Easton Stick at quarterback, the offense will need all the help they can get the rest of the season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. PIT: Najee Harris returns to practice [Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley](=) Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Good news for the Steelers here. We should see their rushing attack lead the way with their quarterback situation being one of the worst in the NFL. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. WAS: Brian Robinson a 'DNP' Wednesday [Source: Commanders.com](=) Washington Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) did not take part in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: Coming out of a Week 14 bye, it's a concern that Robinson isn't out there for practice on Wednesday. Let's see if that changes as the week goes on. The Commanders may be going with Antonio Gibson as their lead back in Week 15. Chris Rodriguez could be in line for more work too as an early-down banger if Robinson misses more time. [Back to Top](#top) [] 20. IND: Jonathan Taylor remains sidelined [Source: Colts.com]() Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (thumb) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 13. Our view: There's no clarity on when Taylor can return. So, Fantasy GMs are left to watch the practice report. If Taylor can't play again, the Colts stick with Zack Moss as their no.1 back. [Back to Top](#top) [] 21. CHI: DJ Moore showing off great hands in 2023 [Source: Sports Info Solutions](=) Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore has dropped a mere 1.2 percent of his catchable targets in 2023, according to Sports Info Solutions. The mark is the lowest rate for any player with at least 100 targets this season. Our view: Moore goes all out to make a catch. He's got insane body control, and his concentration means few passes get by him. It looks like the Bears are not going to move on from QB Justin Fields, so the chemistry with Moore can continue - and hopefully keep growing - in 2024. [Back to Top](#top) [] 22. NE: Ezekiel Elliott open to returning in 2024 [Source: NESN.com - Zack Cox]() New England Patriots RB Ezekiel Elliott said he would be willing to re-sign with the Patriots this offseason. Our view: The future seems....bleak for the Patriots. The reports have finally surfaced about HC Bill Belichick potentially getting fired, but the rumor mill has been buzzing about that for months. If Belichick is gone, who knows what the offense or any need for a running back like Elliott would look like. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
