The format pits you against another [DRAFT](=) user each week in a live snake draft. Beat the user you're matched against and you advance to the next round - that's it. There's only room for 2048 entries at $28 a pop, so we'd suggest heading over to the [DRAFT](=) lobby to reserve your spot before the bracket fills. The final 512 survivors will win cash with the champ taking home a cool $10,000. For a limited time, [DRAFT](=) is donating $10 to The Red Cross of Houston on behalf of each new user that signs up to aid in Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, so if you're planning to sign up to [DRAFT](=) before the season starts, now is a great time. All new users signing up through the link are also eligible for a free $3 entry with their first deposit. --------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Folks, Good Saturday to you. [DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott files suit against NFL]( Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio Dallas Cowboys RB [Ezekiel Elliott](=) and the NFLPA filed a petition to vacate the eventual arbitration ruling in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on Thursday, Aug. 31. The lawsuit was filed ahead of the announced outcome of the arbitration case headed by Harold Henderson, the results of which are expected early next week, and seek to overturn any punishment handed down by the NFL. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Elliott could play for a week or two under this order if granted, but the NFL will still likely be the final arbiter of his status for the short term after the appeal ruling, with courts potentially being the final arbiter in the long term if Elliott's camp challenges the validity of the process used to hand down his suspension. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NO - WR Willie Snead suspended three games]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport New Orleans Saints WR [Willie Snead](=) has been suspended three games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ted Ginn should come out of the gate hot as the team's #2 receiver and Coby Fleener will deserve a longer look as a cheap TE1 with this news. Snead's stock drops to a second half of the draft bench receiver. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [PIT - WR Martavis Bryant fully reinstated](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler Pittsburgh Steelers WR [Martavis Bryant](=) has been reinstated by the NFL and is now allowed to play in regular season games. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This news was expected, but it still a relief to hear it. Bryant is a high ceiling WR2/WR3 who enhances the value of the entire Steelers offense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [PIT - Le'Veon Bell arrives at camp](=) Source: NFL Network - Aditi Kinkhabwala Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell arrived at the team facility Friday, Sept. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] As expected. We'll hold our breath a bit in the first game back against Cleveland as Bell plays in live action without the benefit of camp or the preseason. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [TEN - WR Corey Davis expected to play Week 1](=) Source: ESPN.com - Paul Kuharsky Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (hamstring) will be ready to go for the team's Week 1 regular season opener Sunday, Sept. 10, against the Oakland Raiders, according to head coach Mike Mularkey. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Davis was running as a starter in two-wide sets before his injury. Even if he doesn't play that role against the Raiders, he should get there as long as he gets back on the field without a setback. He's a high ceiling bench stash at his current ADP. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CLE - QB Brock Osweiler released]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Cleveland Browns QB [Brock Osweiler](=) was released Friday, Sept. 1, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Osweiler could get signed before Week 1, but with the lack of interest in him via trade and passers like Matt Barkley and Matt McGloin out there, he might be waiting a bit for new work in the NFL. The Browns basically paid 16 million dollars for a second round pick, but they were flush with money. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [ARI - RB Chris Johnson let go](=) Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Arizona Cardinals RB [Chris Johnson](=) was released Friday, Sept. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kerwynn Williams is the most valuable back on the roster after David Johnson now. He has looked good in limited duty and would have relevance in fantasy leagues if Johnson goes down. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [BUF - QB Nathan Peterman solid in preseason finale](=) Source: USA TODAY Fantasy Sports Buffalo Bills QB Nathan Peterman completed 9-of-11 passes for 81 yards in the club's preseason finale Thursday, August 31, versus the Detroit Lions. He did not record any touchdowns or interceptions in the effort. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Peterman has done well enough in the preseason as a rookie to consider him a threat to take over for Tyrod Taylor if he doesn't get better. Peterman could actually be a small upgrade from Taylor running the pass offense, but it's still a bad look for the Bills offense going into the season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [LAR - LAR mets with DE Aaron Donald's representatives]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Rams DT Aaron Donald's representatives met with members of the Rams front office Wednesday, Aug. 30, according to sources. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Rams defense becomes a much better play in Week 1 against the Andrew Luck-less Colts if Donald is in uniform. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [PIT - RB Fitzgerald Toussaint released]() Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler Pittsburgh Steelers RB [Fitzgerald Toussaint](=) was released Friday, Sept. 1, according to a source. He could be a practice squad candidate if he is eligible. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The path to the backup job behind Le'Veon Bell is now clear for rookie James Conner. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [SEA - Tramine Brock traded]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo Seattle Seahawks CB Tramaine Brock was traded to the Minnesota Vikings Friday, Sept. 1, in exchange for a seventh-round draft choice. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Brock was signed for a very cheap price the Seahawks but they are stocked with corners and did not need him. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [JAX - TE Mychal Rivera placed on IR](=) Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser Jacksonville Jaguars TE [Mychal Rivera](=) (hand) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Friday, Sept. 1. The team also placed SS Jeron Johnson (undisclosed) on the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ben Koyack will be the starter now, but this role has little to no fantasy value. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [SF - San Francisco cuts seven players]() Source: 49ers.com San Francisco 49ers QB [Matt Barkley](=), RB [Tim Hightower](=) and WR [Louis Murphy](=) were released Friday, Sept. 1. The team also waived RB [Kapri Bibbs](=), FB Tyler McCloskey, WR Tim Patrick and PK Nick Rose. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rookie UDFA Matt Breida appears to be the backup to Carlos Hyde in the 49ers backfield. Hyde hasn't been the most durable over the course of his career, so file Breida's name away, as he appears to be ahead of fourth-round pick Joe Williams. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [CHI - WR Victor Cruz does not make team]() Source: The Bergen Record - Art Stapleton Chicago Bears WR [Victor Cruz](=) was released Friday, Sept. 1, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This cements Kendall Wright as the slot receiver and worth a late-round pick after Cameron Meredith went down. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [DET - RB Matt Asiata released](=) Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson Detroit Lions RB [Matt Asiata](=) was released Friday, Sept. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Zach Zenner and Dwayne Washington have one less competitor for big back goal line carries. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [PIT - RB Knile Davis cut]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Pittsburgh Steelers RB [Knile Davis](=) was released Friday, Sept. 1, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Davis is one obstacle removed in between James Conner and the full backup job. Fitzgerald Toussaint, Trey Williams, and Terrell Watson are still on the roster at the position. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [SEA - DE Sheldon Richardson dealt to Seattle](=) Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter The Seattle Seahawks acquired New York Jets DL Sheldon Richardson in exchange for WR [Jermaine Kearse](=) and draft considerations on Friday, Sept. 1, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kearse becomes a starter on the receiver-depleted Jets and Richardson becomes part of the scariest pass rush in the league when he lines with Cliff Avril, Frank Clark, and Michael Bennett on passing down. The Seattle defense just got more potent for fantasy and Jets continued their slide into tank mode. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [BAL - Baltimore trims three from roster](=) Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Baltimore Ravens QB [Thaddeus Lewis](=), TE [Larry Donnell](=) and C Jeremy Zuttah were released Friday, Sept. 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Donnell was brought in after the Ravens suffered an injury and suspension at tight end, but apparently they are satisfied with Nick Boyle, Maxx Williams, and Ben Watson. Zuttah was re-signed after being cut in the offseason, with the hopes of providing depth, but they didn't see enough value in him to keep him. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [MIN - QB Teddy Bridgewater staying on PUP]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Minnesota Vikings QB [Teddy Bridgewater](=) (knee) will remain on the Physically Unable to Perform list and miss the first six games. He hasn't been ruled out for the 2017 season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Case Keenum has been decent in the preseason, good enough for the team to not rush Bridgewater back. Bridgewater's fifth-year option wasn't picked up, so getting back on the active roster would go a long way towards increasing his market. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [JAX - WR Dede Westbrook wraps up eventful preseason]() Source: USA TODAY Fantasy Sports Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook finished up his eventful preseason by logging six catches for 115 yards and a touchdown in the finale Thursday, August 31, against the Atlanta Falcons. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Westbrook is a top dynasty stash with Allen Hurns overpaid and Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson heading into free agency next year.
