Plus - Justin Jefferson, Justin Herbert Exit Games With Injuries  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ 12/11/23 [Unsubscribe |]( [Read Online]() | [Join]( | [GO PRO](=) Howdy {NAME}[,](=) Another wild day of games. MIN: Justin Jefferson suffers injury [Source: Vikings.com](=) Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (chest) suffered a chest injury during the Week 14 game and is considered questionable to return. Our view: This was a big letdown for fantasy teams and Vikings fans that have been waiting a long time to see Jefferson return. He took a big hit over the middle and didn't return to the game, eventually being taken to the hospital. We'll be watching to see if he is ready to go against the suddenly alive in the playoff picture Bengals. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. LAC: Justin Herbert leaves with finger issue [Source: NFL on CBS]() Los Angeles Chargers QB Justin Herbert (finger) left the Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos due to an index finger injury, and he jogged off to the locker room for treatment. Our view: The Chargers offense is running out of gas, and this injury will accelerate their decline. Herbert won't return, and who knows when he'll play next. There's no reason for the Chargers to push Herbert to play through an injury with the season lost and a head coach search starting soon. Easton Stick is in and he could start next week against the Raiders. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. CHI: Two touchdowns for DJ Moore [Source: ESPN.com]() Chicago Bears WR DJ Moore caught six passes for 68 yards and one touchdown against the Detroit Lions in Week 14. He also rushed for 20 yards and one touchdown on three carries during the game. Our view: Moore has been a fantasy WR1 when Justin Fields is out there. He should finish strong as long as winter weather doesn't limit the Bears passing game down the stretch. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. CLE: David Njoku has huge afternoon [Source: ESPN.com]() Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku finished with six receptions for 91 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Our view: Njoku had been struggling lately, even being outproduced and outplayed by Harrison Bryant last week, but he was a force against the Jaguars today. As long as Joe Flacco is in, we should keep Njoku in our lineups. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 5. JAX: Evan Engram has monster afternoon [Source: ESPN.com]() Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram ended up with 11 receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns on 12 targets in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns. Our view: Engram was a week winner with two scores in the losing effort. The limitations of Trevor Lawrence ended up overlapping with the strengths of Engram. He had been quiet in fantasy for most of the season, but has turned into a must start with the Ravens up next. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. NYJ: Breece Hall totals 126 scrimmage yards, TD [Source: ESPN.com]() New York Jets RB Breece Hall rushed 10 times for a team-best 40 yards in Week 14 against the Houston Texans, while adding eight receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. Our view: Hall was questionable with an ankle issue going into the game, but he showed no signs of being limited. The Jets offense came alive in this game, and Hall's work after the catch was a big part of that. He'll be a high ceiling RB2 next week at Miami. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. SF: Purdy puts up 368 easy yards and two easy scores [Source: ESPN.com]() Brock Purdy completed 19 of 27 pass attempts for 368 yards and two scores with one interception, adding seven yards on two carries. Our view: Purdy has put himself in the MVP discussion with masterful performances after the bye now that everyone in this offense is healthy. He's a solid QB1 against the Cardinals next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. BUF: James Cook goes for 141 total yards and a score in win [Source: ESPN.com]() James Cook ran 10 times for 58 and caught all five of his targets for 83 yards and a score in the 20-17 win at Kansas City. Our view: Cook has been the biggest beneficiary of the change to Joe Brady at offensive coordinator. He led the team in rushing and receiving, and the team even had success on the one target to Latavius Murray, which went for 21 yards. There should be no hesitation putting him in lineups against the Cowboys next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. LVR: Josh Jacobs limps to locker room [Source: Raiders.com](=) Las Vegas Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (knee) suffered a knee injury in the fourth quarter of the Week 14 game against the Minnesota Vikings, and he limped off to the locker room midway through the final quarter in regulation. He had 13 carries for 34 yards before departing, while adding two receptions for 16 yards on two targets. Our view: Zamir White and Ameer Abdullah replaced Jacobs, but there's no compelling pickup here if Jacobs is going to miss time. He gave the Raiders his all even though they are going nowhere this year and fired their coach midseason. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. ATL: Drake London has outstanding game [Source: ESPN.com]() Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London caught 10 passes for 172 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. He was targeted 11 times during the game. Our view: London had an amazing catch to set up a late go ahead score that could have easily been intercepted, and he caught the Falcons last chance to win at the five yard line, but couldn't score. Desmond Ridder doesn't seem to be a limiting factor for his value now with the Panthers up next. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. CIN: Joe Mixon totals 125 yards, score [Source: ESPN.com]() Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon rushed 21 times for 79 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the Indianapolis Colts, while posting three receptions for 46 yards on four targets. Our view: Mixon almost had another score, but Jake Browning ended up finishing the drive on the next play. The introduction of Browning has actually been good for Mixon's value, even though rookie Chase Brown is getting more work and making an impact. Mixon will be in lineups as a strong RB2 next week against the Vikings with the Bengals very much in the playoff picture. [Back to Top](#top) []Story [] 12. TB: Rachaad White surpasses 100-yard mark [Source: ESPN.com]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Rachaad White rushed for 102 yards on 25 carries against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14. He also caught two passes for 33 yards and one touchdown during the game. Our view: White now has at least 80 rushing yards in each of the last four games. He showed explosiveness on his second long score via a screen pass this season and outlasted the Falcons defense. He has gotten stronger as the season has gone on and White has earned the long term starting job after not looking worthy of it in the first half of the season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. JAX: Trevor Lawrence tosses three touchdowns [Source: ESPN.com]() Jacksonville Jaguars WR Trevor Lawrence completed 28-of-50 passes for 257 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns, while adding three rushes for 11 yards. Our view: Lawrence was limited by his leg injury, but kept fighting in the second half and ended up putting up solid number for anyone who trusted him in their fantasy lineups. Next week, he'll face a seemingly tough Ravens defense that Matthew Stafford lit up today. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. CHI: Justin Fields accounts for two touchdowns [Source: ESPN.com]() Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields went 19-for-33 for 223 yards and one touchdown against the Detroit Lions in Week 14. He also rushed for 58 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries during the game. Our view: Fields was unable to record his fourth straight 100-yard rushing game against the Lions, but he was an elite fantasy play nonetheless. He is asserting himself as the team's quarterback of the future going into an offseason when his team will likely have the #1 overall pick in addition to another pick in the top half of the first round. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. DEN: Williams scores and dominates backfield touches [Source: ESPN.com]() Javonte Williams carried the ball 17 times for 66 yards and a score and caught three of four targets for 25 yards. Our view: Williams opened the scoring with a nifty move to find a lane for a short touchdown and was steady and workmanlike keeping the offense on schedule. He is going to be a high floor RB2 against the Lions next week, with the Broncos defense keeping games close in the second half of the season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. ATL: Kyle Pitts reaches end zone [Source: ESPN.com]() Atlanta Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught three passes for 57 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. He was targeted six times during the game. Our view: Pitts finally caught a long score and gave us some reason to consider him in lineups in the fantasy playoffs. Today, the Saints tight end group caught six balls for 34 yards and a score against the Panthers defense that Pitts will face next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. NO: Alvin Kamara reaches end zone [Source: ESPN.com]() New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries against the Carolina Panthers in Week 14. He also caught three passes for negative 11 yards during the game. Our view: Kamara scored, but didn't need to do much as a receiver with the Saints controlling this game throughout. Jamaal Williams also got more work as the Saints started out establishing the run, which took away some of the upside that Taysom Hill's absence gave Kamara today. Consider Kamara a solid RB2 against the Giants next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. CLE: Amari Cooper targeted 14 times [Source: ESPN.com]() Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper recorded seven receptions for 77 yards on a team-high 14 targets in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Our view: Cooper is going to get a lot of downfield targets with Joe Flacco in, so he's worth as much as he's been all season. His fumble opened the door slightly for the Jaguars, but his teammates slammed it shut later in the game. He'll face the young Bears cornerback group next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. CLE: Joe Flacco goes over 300 yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Cleveland Browns QB Joe Flacco completed 26-of-45 passes for 311 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, while rushing four times for minus-1 yard and a lost fumble. Our view: Who would have ever predicted that Flacco would save the Browns season? They are firmly back in the playoff picture, and fantasy players should be happy with arguably the best downfield passing from the Browns offense this year, including when Deshaun Watson was in. The Browns face the Bears next week and Flacco should be considered a solid QB2/Superflex who improves the offense across the board. [Back to Top](#top) [] 20. JAX: Calvin Ridley targeted 13 times [Source: ESPN.com]() Jacksonville Jaguars WR Calvin Ridley was targeted 13 times in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns, but he ended up with just four receptions for 53 yards. Our view: This wasn't a bad performance considering the fact that Ridley's quarterback was not 100%. He'll be a boom/bust WR3/Flex next week worth considering against a Ravens defense that gave up good games to Puca Nacua and Cooper Kupp today. [Back to Top](#top) The best things sent in the Footballguys Group Chat today: - 😬 That was something. [The Gabe Davis effect is too real.]() - 🧐 Would you believe us if we said this [is Kyle Pitts's longest catch of his career?](=)[ ]() [] 21. NYJ: Zach Wilson goes over 300 yards [Source: ESPN.com]() New York Jets QB Zach Wilson completed 27-of-36 passes for 301 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 14 against the Houston Texans, while running three times for 12 yards with one fumble lost. Our view: Wilson looked like a new quarterback and the Jets offense was as good as it has been all season. Too little too late for this season, but Wilson's career prospects got a big bump and he might be even be a difference maker in 2QB/Superflex leagues if he keeps this up. More importantly in fantasy leagues, Wilson's high level of play topped out Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall's values today and gave us confidence to play them against the Dolphins next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 22. MIN: Alexander Mattison injures ankle [Source: The Associated Press]() Minnesota Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) exited the Week 14 game against the Las Vegas Raiders with an ankle injury. He had 10 carries for 66 yards prior to exiting. Our view: Ty Chandler took Mattison's place, but didn't do much in the 3-0 scorcher in the desert. Chandler will be worth a depth pickup if it looks like Mattison will miss next week's game at Cincinnati. [Back to Top](#top) [] 23. ATL: Desmond Ridder throws for 347 yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Atlanta Falcons QB Desmond Ridder went 26-for-40 for 347 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 14. He also rushed for 15 yards and one touchdown four carries during the game. Our view: Ridder had some terrible moments, including an interception deep in his own end that set up the Bucs first touchdown and a bad miss of Bijan Robinson on what should have been a short touchdown pass, but he made enough plays to give his team the lead late and he got the team inside the five on a desperation drive. He had a great fantasy game and started to unlock the value of his immensely talented teammates. He'll try to make up for this loss against the Panthers next week and should be considered as a QB2/Superflex. [Back to Top](#top) [] 24. HOU: Nico Collins injures calf [Source: HoustonTexans.com](=) Updating a previous report, Houston Texans WR Nico Collins (calf) will not return to the Week 14 game because of his calf injury. Our view: The Texans pass offense was feeble without its top two receivers against a good Jets defense today. CJ Stroud also got hurt in this one. The Texans were making a move towards the playoffs in recent weeks, but the game against Tennessee next week suddenly looks far from a foregone conclusion. [Back to Top](#top) [] 25. BAL: Lamar Jackson tosses three touchdowns [Source: ESPN.com]() Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 24-of-43 passes for 316 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in Week 14 against Los Angeles Rams, and he rushed 11 times for a team-high 70 yards. Our view: Jackson had two long touchdowns against busted coverage, and then led a late go-ahead touchdown drive capped by a pass to Zay Flowers, but it was a punt return by Tylan Wallace that ended the game in overtime. Jackson is back to his elite fantasy ways heading into a matchup with Jacksonville. [Back to Top](#top) [] 26. HOU: Devin Singletary goes for 65 yards, TD [Source: ESPN.com]() Houston Texans RB Devin Singletary rushed 13 times for 65 yards and a touchdown in Week 14 against the New York Jets, and he had no receiving yards or catches on three targets. Our view: Singletary was back in control of the backfield, but probably on everyone's bench because last week the team to an again inefficient Dameon Pierce. The Texans offense is banged up, so Singletary is a flex play at best against the Titans. [Back to Top](#top) [] 27. LAR: Matthew Stafford tosses three touchdowns [Source: ESPN.com]() Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford completed 23-of-41 passes for 294 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens, while running one time for minus-1 yard. Our view: Stafford wasn't affected that much by the rainy conditions and top-ranked Ravens pass defense, but he couldn't find one more play in overtime to get the Rams the upset win on the road. They are still a solid contender for a wild card in the NFC with a much easier game against the Commanders up next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 28. SEA: Kenneth Walker III better through the air [Source: ESPN.com]() Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III rushed eight times for 21 yards and caught four passes for 33 yards in a 28-16 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 14. Our view: The Seahawks backfield was split close to equal between Walker and Zach Charbonnet, which is no good when a team is facing a tough defense like San Francisco's. Both will be what-the-heck flexes against the Eagles next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 29. KC: Rice scores again, catches seven balls in loss [Source: ESPN.com]() Rashee Rice caught seven of his ten targets for 72 yards and a score in the 20-17 loss to the Bills. Our view: Rice tied Travis Kelce for the team lead in targets and scored for the third time in the last four and fifth time in the last eight games. He has established himself as the clear #1 wide receiver and is worth an everyweek WR2/WR3/Flex start, with a game at New England up next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 30. DET: Jared Goff struggles in Week 14 [Source: ESPN.com]() Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff went 20-for-35 for 161 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Chicago Bears in Week 14. Our view: Outdoor Goff strikes again. The Lions were in this game until they allowed a touchdown on 4th and 13, followed by Goff fumbling an exchange from center and another quick touchdown from Justin Fields. The good news is that Goff returns home to face Denver next week and doesn't have an outdoor game in the fantasy playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) [] 31. SEA: DK Metcalf ejected in second half [Source: ProFootballTalk.com]( Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf was ejected late in the fourth quarter of the Week 14 game against the San Francisco 49ers for his part in an on-field scuffle. He ended up with two receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown on four targets before departing. Our view: Metcalf had a long touchdown early, but was quiet for the rest of the game. Drew Lock starting didn't kill his value, but his premature exit kept Metcalf from having any chance of being a surprise hit this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 32. CHI: D'Onta Foreman posts 72 total yards [Source: ESPN.com]() Chicago Bears RB D'Onta Foreman rushed for 50 yards on 11 carries against the Detroit Lions in Week 14. He also caught two passes for 22 yards during the game. Our view: Foreman's fantasy output wasn't that impressive, but he was the clear lead back and Justin Fields was playing well, so he has at least flex value against the Browns next week. He has come a long way since the Bears made him a healthy scratch early in the season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 33. TB: Baker Mayfield accounts for three TDs [Source: ESPN.com]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield went 14-for-29 for 144 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14. He also rushed for three yards and one touchdown on three carries during the game. Our view: Mayfield was held in check for most of this game until a 12 play, 70-yard drive, capped by touchdown pass to Cade Otton gave the Bucs the lead in the waning seconds. Mayfield has been a surprise solid QB2/Superflex. He is in first place going into Week 15, with the Packers up next. [Back to Top](#top) [] 34. NO: Chris Olave catches TD pass [Source: ESPN.com]() New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave caught four passes for 28 yards and one touchdown against the Carolina Panthers in Week 14. He was targeted five times during the game. Our view: Olave scored late to bail out fantasy players who went with him despite his being under the weather. The Saints didn't have to push the ball downfield in the passing game because they were in control throughout. Olave should be back in top form against the Giants next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 35. IND: Zack Moss goes nowhere fast [Source: ESPN.com]() Indianapolis Colts RB Zack Moss rushed 13 times for 28 yards in Week 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals, while adding four receptions for 28 yards on eight targets. Our view: Moss has been a fantasy dud since taking over for Jonathan Taylor, and next week we could see Taylor start to practice again. Even if Taylor is out against the Steelers, Moss is looking more like a what-the-heck flex than a sure fantasy start against the Steelers. [Back to Top](#top) [] 36. MIN: Joshua Dobbs benched in fourth quarter [Source: NFL on FOX]() Minnesota Vikings QB Joshua Dobbs completed 10-of-23 passes for 63 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 14 against the Las Vegas Raiders before getting benched in the fourth quarter. He also ran five times for 21 yards before giving way to backup QB Nick Mullens. Our view: One of most fun stories of 2023 is over... for now. Dobbs was the ultimate boom/bust play as we knew he was closed to being benched during the bye. It appears defenses have figured him out and Justin Jefferson going out early didn't help. Mullens will probably start at Cincinnati next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 37. CAR: Adam Thielen catches five passes [Source: ESPN.com]() Carolina Panthers WR Adam Thielen caught five passes for 74 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 14. He was targeted seven times during the game. Our view: Thielen at least wasn't a lineup liability this week, but he didn't make you excited to play him against the Falcons next week. The best bet for production next week would be a blowout with more garbage time, as the Panthers stayed within a score until the fourth quarter in this game.
