JAX: Trevor Lawrence won't practice Wednesday [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence (ankle) will not practice on Wednesday, Dec. 6, head coach Doug Pederson said. Our view: Lawrence's status has not been determined for this week although many seem to think he'll miss. Stay tuned. He looked good today walking to the podium without crutches or a walking boot. His high-ankle sprain is not the season-ending variety, and we'll see when he's able to return. CJ Beathard would start for the Jaguars if Lawrence can't go. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. NYJ: Zach Wilson starting Sunday [Source: NFL.com](=) New York Jets QB Zach Wilson will be the starter in Week 14, head coach Robert Saleh said on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Earlier reports indicate Wilson may be refusing to start after the team benched him for Tim Boyle. With Boyle released and guys like Brett Rypien as their only other options, the Jets are back to Wilson. Downgrade most of the Jets offense, but that's been happening for most of the season with Wilson as the starter. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. NE: Bailey Zappe expected to start [Source: NBC Sports Boston](=) New England Patriots QB Bailey Zappe is expected to start in Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Our view: Thursday night against the Steelers, we'll see Zappe against Mitchell Trubisky. That's not exciting football. However, we're still hoping to see at least a package of plays for Malik Cunningham. Perhaps that's something the Patriots will do in Week 14 to change it up from the "meh" play of Zappe. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. MIN: Joshua Dobbs to start in Week 14 [Source: Vikings.com](=) Minnesota Vikings QB Joshua Dobbs will start in Week 14, head coach Kevin O'Connell said on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Dobbs is a great story, but he's not a great quarterback. The Vikings had been considering a quarterback change, but Dobbs gets another chance against the Raiders this week. Dobbs will likely get to throw to WR Justin Jefferson this week, and that should help him look better in Week 14. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. MIN: Justin Jefferson fully practices [Source: Raiders.com]( Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Great news for the Vikings and Joshua Dobbs here. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. PIT: Najee Harris' status in question [Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley](=) Pittsburgh Steelers RB Najee Harris (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6, and is listed as questionable for Week 14. Our view: It's a short week as the Steelers play against the Patriots on Thursday night. The Steelers need as much help as they can get with Mitchell Trubisky starting at quarterback. Harris may end up being a game-time decision. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. TEN: More good news for Derrick Henry [Source: AtoZ Sports Nashville](=) Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry (concussion) continues to show encouraging signs that he will play in Week 14, head coach Mike Vrabel said on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Initially reported as a concussion, Vrabel has insisted that Henry was not concussed and is not in the league's concussion protocol. Henry should be out there against the Dolphins on Monday night in Week 14. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. JAX: Zay Jones limited [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Jones is getting a bit of maintenance here. With CJ Beathard at quarterback, Jones should perform like a WR3/flex option for Fantasy GMs in Week 14. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. BUF: James Cook hard to corral [Source: ProFootballReference.com]() Buffalo Bills RB James Cook ranks second among qualified running backs with 2.1 yards after contact per attempt, according to Pro Football Reference. Our view: Cook is not a big back, but he does a good job of keeping his feet alive after contact. With 731 rushing yards entering Week 14, Cook is the no.10 running back in the league in that category. With the Bills on the outside of the playoffs looking in, perhaps they lean even more on Cook to settle down the offense and wear down opponents in the last month of the regular season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. KC: Isiah Pacheco not practicing [Source: NFL.com](=) Kansas City Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) will not take part in practice on Wednesday, Dec. 6, due to a shoulder contusion, head coach Andy Reid said. Our view: Pacheco had shoulder problems last year that he played through. Once again, the angriest runner in the league is battling a shoulder issue. We'll see what he can do later in the week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. CAR: Adam Thielen rests Wednesday [Source: Panthers.com]( Carolina Panthers WR Adam Thielen (rest) did not practice on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Insert the usual "he's a veteran and doesn't need to practice on Wednesday" here. Thielen gets every Wednesday off, so nothing to see here people. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. LAC: Joshua Palmer's window opens [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]( Los Angeles Chargers WR Joshua Palmer (knee) was designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: The Chargers now have 21 days to activate Palmer. He may not be ready to play against the Broncos on Sunday, but we'll see how his knee responds to an increased workload in practice. Palmer is a WR3/flex option when he's out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. MIA: Tyreek Hill on another level [Source: ProFootballReference.com](=) Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill leads the league with 877 yards before the catch (yards that passes traveled in the air before being caught) and 604 yards after the catch, according to Pro Football Reference. Our view: Defenders give Hill a lot of space because of his world-class speed. Those same defenders are left in the dust when Hill gets by them anyway. He's the most dangerous weapon in the league, and the Dolphins know how to get the best out of him on a weekly basis. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. NE: Rhamondre Stevenson ruled out [Source: Patriots.com]( New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6, and has been ruled out for Week 14. Our view: The Patriots will continue to lean on their backfield with Bailey Zappe at quarterback. With Stevenson out of action, Ezekiel Elliott should get a large workload. From a fantasy perspective, we like him as an RB2 against the Steelers on Thursday night. [All roads lead back to Zach Wilson.]() - 👋 Glad to have you, Taylor. [Swifties are realizing how awesome football is.]() [] 15. BUF: Full practice for Dawson Knox [Source: BuffaloBills.com]() Buffalo Bills TE Dawson Knox (wrist) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: The Bills have opened the 21-day window to activate Knox. There is a chance he'll be ready to play against the Chiefs in Week 14. Upon his return, Knox will cut into the potential snaps and production for TE Dalton Kincaid. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. DAL: Rico Dowdle limited Wednesday [Source: The Athletic - Jon Machota](=) Dallas Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Tony Pollard has been getting a majority of the touches in the Cowboys' backfield over the last two weeks. That makes Dowdle more of a 'what the heck' flex for Fantasy GMs out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. BUF: Dalton Kincaid fully practices [Source: BuffaloBills.com]() Buffalo Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (thumb) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Kincaid has been a target hog for the Bills since Week 7. He's been posting TE1 numbers during that time, but things might change if Dawson Knox is active. Knox practiced fully on Wednesday, and he's been designated to return from IR. When Knox is out there, he will cut into some snaps and targets for Kincaid. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. JAX: No practice for Christian Kirk [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk (groin) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said Kirk (core) will likely require surgery. That means rookie Parker Washington is going to get more time and needs to be added off all waiver wires. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. CHI: D'Onta Foreman practices in full [Source: Chicago Bears PR](=) Chicago Bears RB D'Onta Foreman (ankle) practiced in full on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: A full practice for Foreman is a good sign for his availability in Week 14. He's had a couple of weeks to get healthy after injuring his ankle in Week 11. Foreman's return means Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson will have more competition for snaps/carries/touches. [Back to Top](#top) [] 20. JAX: Travis Etienne limited Wednesday [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Jacksonville Jaguars RB Travis Etienne (ribs) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: The Jaguars should lean on the run with CJ Beathard starting at quarterback. That's good news for Etienne and Fantasy GMs looking at him as an RB2 with upside. [Back to Top](#top) [] 21. BUF: Josh Allen takes part in practice [Source: BuffaloBills.com]() Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen (shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Allen and the Bills have their backs against the wall, and things won't be easy for them on the road against the Chiefs in Week 14. We'll see if the Bills can play sound football, whether Allen can take care of the ball, and if the team can pull off the upset to keep their playoff hopes alive. [Back to Top](#top) [] 22. HOU: Dalton Schultz officially limited [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Updating a previous report, Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. Our view: Schultz missed last week's game against the Broncos, but backup Brevin Jordan had a breakout game. The team is testing out Schultz's hamstring, so we'll have to see how his body responds to an increased workload during the week of practice. [Back to Top](#top) [] 23. IND: Jonathan Taylor does not practice [Source: Colts.com]() Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (thumb) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. The Colts did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation. Our view: Shane Steichen was non-committal about Taylor's Week 14 playing status. Zack Moss will be the lead back if Taylor has to miss more time. Taylor underwent surgery to repair the UCL in his wrist last week, and reports indicated he would have to miss 3-5 weeks. [Back to Top](#top) [] 24. PHI: Dallas Goedert takes part in practice [Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com]( Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Dec. 6. The Eagles did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation. Our view: It looks like Goedert will be out there against the Cowboys in Week 14. That means AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith should see better coverage as the Eagles will actually have a threat at the position. [Back to Top](#top) [] 25. LAR: Kyren Williams not seeing much resistance early [Source: ProFootballReference.com]() Los Angeles Rams RB Kyren Williams is tied for first in the league among qualified rushers with 3.9 yards before contact per attempt, according to Pro Football Reference. Our view: The Rams are giving Williams plenty of space to work with, and he fully understands the wide-zone concepts the rushing attack uses to produce at a high level. Williams has been incredible for Fantasy GMs this year when he's healthy, and he's an RB1 each week he's out there. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
