On this episode of On The Couch, Sigmund Bloom and Davis Mattek break down which league-winning players can help you win your fantasy football playoffs! [[youtube]](=)[[podcast]]([[spotify]](=) [] 1. MIA: De'Von Achane will play [Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson]( Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (knee) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Washington Commanders, according to head coach Mike McDaniel on Friday, Dec. 1. Our view: Consider Achane a boom/bust RB2/Flex this week. He already showed that he didn't need many touches to be an elite fantasy play and the Washington defense is fading. Raheem Mostert is also still a must play, and don't drop Jeff Wilson if you can help it because Achane lasted one play before he left the game in Week 11. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. TB: Chris Godwin a game-time decision? [Source: FOX Sports - Greg Auman]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (neck) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 1, and is listed as questionable for Week 13 versus the Carolina Panthers. Our view: Godwin is a true game time decision. His upside hasn't been that exciting so unless you don't have another viable option, you should probably set your lineup without Godwin. Rookie speedster Trey Palmer and tight end Cade Otton could be better plays this week if Godwin can't go. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. GB: Aaron Jones a no-go again on Friday [Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky](=) Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (knee) did not practice for the third straight day on Friday, Dec. 1. Our view: AJ Dillon will get the start against the Chiefs, but he has a low ceiling. Still, with six teams on bye, he'll be in a lot of lineups. Jones would get to play the Giants if he can return next week, but a Week 15 return is more likely. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. PHI: Dallas Goedert back on the field on Friday [Source: Houston Chronicle - Brooks Kubena](=) Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) was spotted at practice for the first time on Friday, Dec. 1, since injuring his forearm in Week 9. Our view: Goedert was listed as doubtful, so he won't return this week, but that should assure that he'll return next week against the Cowboys, which means the team did the right thing refraining from putting him on injured reserve after the Week 10 bye. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. ARI: Marquise Brown 'trending in the right direction' [Source: PHNX Sports - Bo Brack]( Arizona Cardinals WR Marquise Brown (heel) is 'trending the right direction' to play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12, according to sources Friday, Dec. 1. Our view: Brown didn't practice this week, but there's a reassuring tone about his Week 13 status. Consider him a boom/bust WR3/Flex if active. He was on the injury report with this heel issue last week and still posted a 6-88 line in a blowout loss to the Rams. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. HOU: Another DNP for Dalton Schultz [Source: Houston Chronicle - Jonathan Alexander]( Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not practice for a third consecutive day on Friday, Dec. 1. Our view: Brevin Jordan will be the primary receiving tight end against the Broncos. Denver has allowed a tight end touchdown in each of the last three games, and they also allowed two scores to Cole Kmet earlier in the season. Jordan is a fine Hockenson/Kincaid/Kmet bye coverage play and if Schultz is out for Week 14 at the Jets, that's another good tight end matchup. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. HOU: Houston's Week 13 injury report [Source: HoustonTexans.com]() Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 13 versus the Denver Broncos. WR Noah Brown (knee) did not practice on Friday, Dec. 1, and is listed as questionable. WR Tank Dell (calf) and DT Sheldon Rankins (elbow) were limited in practice on Friday and are also listed as questionable. LB Jake Hansen (hamstring, hand) practiced in full on Friday but is listed as questionable. OT George Fant (hip), OT Laremy Tunsil (knee), S Jimmie Ward (hamstring) and QB C.J. Stroud (thigh) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. Our view: Brown appeared to be on track to return this week, but the missed practice has put that into question (no pun intended). Check back on Sunday to see if he's active before setting your lineup. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. ARI: Week 13 injury report for Arizona [Source: AZCardinals.com]( Arizona Cardinals CB Antonio Hamilton (groin), CB Starling Thomas (ankle) and WR Michael Wilson (shoulder) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. OG Elijah Wilkinson (neck) was limited in practice all week but has also been ruled out. WR Marquise Brown (heel) did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. WR Zach Pascal (personal) did not practice for a second straight day on Friday and is also listed as questionable. S Joey Blount (knee), TE Trey McBride (groin), DT Kevin Strong (knee) and S Jalen Thompson (ribs) were limited in practice for a second executive day on Friday and are also listed as questionable. Our view: Greg Dortch is a viable play this week with Wilson out and Marquise Brown and Trey McBride both at less than 100% even if they do play. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. NYJ: Week 13 injury report for NY Jets [Source: NewYorkJets.com]( New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) was upgraded to a limited practice on Friday, Dec. 1, but has been ruled out for Week 13 versus the Atlanta Falcons. RB Israel Abanikanda (illness) and RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) were limited in practice on Friday and are listed as questionable. RB Breece Hall (hamstring), TE Kenny Yeboah (hamstring) and OG Wes Schweitzer (calf) practiced in full on Friday but are also listed as questionable. OT Mekhi Becton (ankle, knee), CB Michael Carter II (hamstring), DB Justin Hardee (hamstring), DE Will McDonald (shoulder), OT Billy Turner (finger), LB Sam Eguavoen (hip) and LB Quincy Williams (knee) practiced in full on Friday and have been removed from the injury report. Our view: Hall is likely to play despite the questionable tag. He should be in lineups against the Falcons as one of the only reliable ways to move the ball for the quarterback play challenged Jets. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. KC: Kansas City's Week 13 injury report [Source: Chiefs.com]() Kansas City Chiefs LB Nick Bolton (wrist) was limited in practice all week but has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers. RB Jerick McKinnon (groin) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Dec. 1, and is listed as questionable. S Bryan Cook (bicep), WR Kadarius Toney (ankle, hip), WR Rashee Rice (foot), OT Donovan Smith (neck), CB L'Jarius Sneed (knee) and WR Skyy Moore (knee) practiced in full all week and have been removed from the injury report. Our view: McKinnon's possible return would take a little edge off of the upside of Isaih Pacheco this week, but Pacheco is still at worst a strong RB2 play at Green Bay. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. NO: Week 13 injury report for New Orleans [Source: NewOrleansSaints.com]() New Orleans Saints S Marcus Maye (shoulder), RB Kendre Miller (ankle), WR Rashid Shaheed (thigh) and LB Pete Werner (shoulder, oblique) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 13 against the Detroit Lions. DE Cameron Jordan (ankle) also did not practice all week but is listed as questionable. PK Blake Grupe (groin) and C Erik McCoy (shoulder) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. WR Chris Olave (concussion) was upgraded to full practice on Friday, Dec. 1, but is also listed as questionable. OT Ryan Ramczyk (knee) and OG Andrus Peat (shoulder) practiced in full on Friday and have been removed from the injury report. Our view: Olave needs to clear concussion protocol before he can play. Check back on Sunday morning to see if he is active. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family.
