â [] 1. LAR: Cooper Kupp day-to-day [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) suffered a low-ankle sprain in Week 11. Our view: A high-ankle sprain could cost a player about a month. A low-ankle sprain can possibly be played through, so we'll see if Kupp can do that going forward. Let's monitor his practice status during the week. As of Monday, they're calling him "day-to-day." [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. NYJ: Zach Wilson benched [Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo]( New York Jets QB Zach Wilson was benched, and the team will roll with Tim Boyle as the starter, according to sources Monday, Nov. 20. Our view: Wilson, the no.2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, is a complete bust for the Jets. He's had plenty of opportunity to show growth as a player and a passer, yet Wilson continues to struggle with the NFL basics. Wilson has started 31 games, going 11-20 as the starter for the Jets. Who knows if he starts another game for the Jets, but it's clear that he needs a fresh start. [Back to Top](#top) =

â [] 3. MIA: De'Von Achane update [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (knee) re-injured the same knee that landed him on the Reserve/Injured list earlier in the season, according to sources Monday, Nov. 20. Our view: HC Mike McDaniel was non-committal on Achane's potential to play against the New York Jets in Week 12. We didn't see much from Achane upon his return (only two touches) before he reinjured the knee. Expect the Dolphins to proceed with caution, and Fantasy GMs are back to looking for other backs to help. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. NYJ: Tim Boyle named starter [Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo]( New York Jets QB Tim Boyle was named the starter over Zach Wilson, according to sources Monday, Nov. 20. Our view: Boyle may not be much of an upgrade from Zach Wilson, but the Jets have seen enough of the former no.2 overall pick (2021). While Boyle is 0-3 as a starter, it looks like he may drop another game with a Week 12 start against the Dolphins. Fantasy GMs need to downgrade all Jets options in the passing game unless and until Aaron Rodgers makes a miraculous comeback late in the year (which we see as unlikely). [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. WAS: Curtis Samuel listed as FP [Source: Commanders.com](=) Washington Commanders WR Curtis Samuel (toe) was listed as a full participant at practice Monday, Nov. 20. Our view: The Commanders held a walkthrough Monday so participation levels are estimations. We'll know more on Wednesday as the team prepares for a Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. [Back to Top](#top)

â [] 6. NO: Derek Carr still in protocol [Source: NFL.com]() New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr (concussion) remains in the concussion protocol, according to sources Monday, Nov. 20. Our view: As per usual, Carr will have to get through the protocol before he can resume playing. That means he'll have to be cleared to practice and then see how his body responds to more work. The Saints had a bye in Week 11, and they play the Falcons in Week 12. Jameis Winston will start if Carr can't be cleared in time. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. ATL: Desmond Ridder back as starter [Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein](=) Atlanta Falcons QB Desmond Ridder has been named the starter indefinitely, according to sources Monday, Nov. 20. Our view: Coming out of their Week 11 bye, the team is turning back to Ridder after a two-game benching. The team hopes he can learn from the mistakes he made and play better for the rest of the season. Barring an outright miracle, expect the Falcons to make a move this offseason at the quarterback position. There are plenty of rumblings about the Falcons making a move for Justin Fields since he's from Georgia, but we are a long way from any decision like that being made. SEA: Kenneth Walker could miss Week 12 [Source: ESPN.com - Brady Henderson]() Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III (oblique) suffered an oblique strain during the team's Week 11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Our view: Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll labeled this injury a 'legit' strain, adding that the running back could barely move because of it. Walker ran four times for 18 yards versus LA before departing. Zach Charbonnet would be tasked with doing more if Walker has to miss time. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. SEA: Geno Smith uncertain for Thanksgiving night [Source: ESPN.com - Brady Henderson]() Updating earlier reports, Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll indicated that QB Geno Smith (elbow) was uncertain to play on Thursday, Nov. 23, against the San Francisco 49ers. Carroll said he had 'no idea' as to Smith's availability, and the quarterback said simply, 'We'll see how it goes.' If Smith can't play, QB Drew Lock would make the start. Our view: In a short week, Seattle may have to turn to Drew Lock. Information may be limited before the Thanksgiving game, so make sure to have other options at the ready. Lock is an intriguing prospect, but if Smith was out there would likely be at least a slight downgrade for the weapons in the passing game. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
