Plus - De'Von Achane Expected Back This Week  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ 11/17/23 [Unsubscribe |]( [Read Online]() | [Join]( | [GO PRO](=) Howdy {NAME}[,](=) Here. They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 1. DEN: Jerry Jeudy added to injury report [Source: DenverBroncos.com](=) Denver Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy (hip) was a new addition to the injury report and was limited on Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: Keep an eye on this one and see if he's able to work Friday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. LAC: Keenan Allen back at practice on Thursday [Source: The Athletic - Daniel Popper]( Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (shoulder) returned to practice on Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: Good news for the Chargers here. Allen is not 100 percent healthy, but a practice on Thursday means he's on track to play in Week 11. Start him as you normally would as a WR1. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. CLE: Deshaun Watson officially to IR [Source: NFLCommunications.com](=) Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder, ankle) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Our view: Watson's season is done, and now he'll be able to get that shoulder problem properly taken care of. He will undergo surgery and then get to his recovery process. We'll see him in 2024, likely ready for the start of training camp next summer. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. HOU: Noah Brown sits again on Thursday [Source: KPRC.com - Aaron Wilson]() Houston Texans WR Noah Brown (knee) did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: Brown may not be out there when the Texans face the Cardinals on Sunday. Nico Collins says he's going to play, but losing Brown is a hit as he's a big-play threat for QB CJ Stroud. Let's see if he can get at least a limited practice in on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. NYG: Jalin Hyatt progressing [Source: Giants.com - Dan Salomone]() New York Giants WR Jalin Hyatt (concussion) remains in the league's protocol but is progressing, according to head coach Brian Daboll on Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: Hyatt is a player we appreciate in dynasty formats. Until the Giants get an upgrade at quarterback, all pass-catchers for that team won't have much fantasy value. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. MIA: De'Von Achane expected back [Source: ESPN.com - Dan Graziano]( Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (knee) is expected to be activated from the Reserve/Injured list for the Week 11 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Dan Graziano of ESPN.com. Our view: Achane is the type of player who needs to be in your lineup if he's on the field. The upside is there for him to dominate, and he only needs limited touches to post RB1 numbers. However, in his first game back (if he's activated this week) Achane should be considered a flex play with upside. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. GB: Aaron Jones listed as limited [Source: Packers.com]( Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: Hamstrings are always worrisome. Let's see what he's able to do on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. HOU: Dameon Pierce still sidelined [Source: KPRC.com - Aaron Wilson]() Houston Texans RB Dameon Pierce (ankle) did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: The Texans unleashed Devin Singletary last week, and they may be doing more of that going forward. The Cardinals are soft against the run, so Singletary could pay off as an RB2/flex play with upside for your fantasy team this weekend. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. TB: Mike Evans practicing Thursday [Source: PewterReport.com - Matt Matera](=) Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (quad) participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: Evans was limited on Wednesday with this quad injury. He's on track to play against the 49ers on Sunday. In a tough matchup, we like Evans as a high-end WR2 in Week 11. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. HOU: C.J. Stroud hitting on big plays [Source: ESPN.com - Matt Bowen](=) Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud leads the NFL with 43 completions of 20 or more yards. Our view: Stroud has no problem going deep, and it allows the team to gash an opponent. It also dings Stroud when it comes to other statistics that track his performance. Stroud owns a league-worst 20.7 percent bad throw rate and ranks 28th in on-target percentage at 72.2 percent, according to Pro Football Reference. He's throwing deep, and those are low-percentage throws - thus, you take the good and the bad. Stroud is fun to watch, and as his game grows he could develop into one of the best in the game. CHI: Cole Kmet showing off sticky hands [Source: Sports Info Solutions](=) Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet leads all pass-catchers (40-target minimum) with a 97.9 percent catch rate on catchable targets, according to Sports Info Solutions. Our view: Kmet can get it done no matter who is in at quarterback for the Bears. Justin Fields returns to the lineup this week, and he should continue targeting Kmet early and often. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. HOU: Nico Collins a limited participant [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Houston Texans WR Nico Collins (calf) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: We're hoping for Collins to return this week but what he's able to do Friday will be important. Keep an eye on it here. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. MIN: Alexander Mattison upgraded Thursday [Source: Vikings.com](=) Minnesota Vikings RB Alexander Mattison (concussion) was limited in practice on Thursday, Nov. 16, after not practicing the day before. Our view: It's a positive step for Mattison and hopefully we'll have some clarity Friday about his progress. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. DAL: Peyton Hendershot designated to return [Source: NFLCommunications.com](=) Dallas Cowboys TE Peyton Hendershot (ankle) was designated to return from the Reserve/Injured list on Wednesday, Nov. 15. Our view: The Cowboys have 21 days to activate Hendershot or he will revert back to IR for the duration of the season. When Hendershot returns, it will cut into the playing time for rookie TE Luke Schoonmaker. Jake Ferguson continues as a favorite target for QB Dak Prescott and the lead tight end for the Cowboys. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. CAR: Frank Reich retakes play-calling duties [Source: PanthersWire - Anthony Rizzuti]( Carolina Panthers head coach Frank Reich reclaimed play-calling duties from offensive coordinator Thomas X. Brown. Our view: The Panthers are desperate for things to change. That's why Brown took over play-calling duties. Now, Reich takes them back. We'll see if things change, but the Panthers' offense is flat-out bad. Reich says this move is not a punishment for Brown, and they will be collaborative in the approach to crafting a gameplan. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. WAS: Antonio Gibson a no-go again on Thursday [Source: ESPN.com - John Keim]() Washington Commanders RB Antonio Gibson (toe) did not practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Nov. 16. Our view: Gibson is not trending in the right direction. If he misses the game against the Giants on Sunday, the Commanders could just use more of Brian Robinson. He's their lead back, but if Gibson doesn't play there might be a few more targets in line for him. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. LAC: Brandon Staley to remain in charge on defense [Source: ESPN.com - Kristian Rhim]( Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley will continue to call plays on defense. Our view: The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again yet expecting different results. Staley is on the hot seat as head coach, and staying as the defensive play-caller is unlikely to change what's going on with that side of the ball. The Chargers can be gashed by the passing game, and they gave up eight plays of 20 yards or more just last week against the Lions. We're likely to see the Chargers fall short (again) this year, and Staley should be replaced after that. In fact, some think he could lose his job during the season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. DAL: Dallas unlikely to find more work for Rico Dowdle [Source: The Dallas Morning News - Calvin Watkins]( Dallas Cowboys RB Rico Dowdle is a player that head coach Mike McCarthy would like to get more touches, but McCarthy told reporters on Thursday, Nov. 16, that he also has 'no problem with the (current) ball distribution.' Our view: Let's see how this situation shakes out in Dallas. Fantasy GMs want to see more from Dowdle, but that may not be in the cards just yet. In the meantime, we can trust Dowdle as a deep flex play. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family.
