Quarterbacks coach Joe Brady will serve as interim offensive coordinator. Our view: The Bills had to move on from Dorsey as their struggles continued against the Broncos in Week 10. Now, stats show an explosive offense but the Bills have lost their spark in the Dorsey offense. QB Josh Allen has elite talent, but too often he's turning the ball over while trying to do too much. The Bills need to run the ball more, use motions and shifts, and free Allen to be the special player he can be. We'll see if Brady can get that out of this offense as they make a desperate push for the playoffs. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. JAX: Zay Jones arrested [Source: Yahoo! Sports - Ryan Young]( Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones was arrested Monday, Nov. 13, and he is scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday, Nov. 14. Our view: It's unclear what led to his arrest, but he was booked for domestic battery causing bodily harm. The charge is a first-degree misdemeanor in Florida, and it is punishable by up to 180 days in jail and up to a $1,000 fine. NYJ: Zach Wilson to keep starting job [Source: ESPN.com - Rich Cimini](=) New York Jets QB Zach Wilson will continue to be the team's starting quarterback, according to head coach Robert Saleh. Our view: Wilson keeps his starting job as the team waits to see if QB Aaron Rodgers can make a miraculous return in mid-December. The Jets know what they have in Wilson, and it's not great. Wilson hasn't thrown a touchdown pass since Week 8, and he has only one multi-touchdown game this year (Week 4 vs the Chiefs). [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. LAC: Keenan Allen considered day-to-day [Source: The Athletic - Daniel Popper](=) Los Angeles Chargers WR Keenan Allen (shoulder) is considered day-to-day because of a shoulder injury, according to head coach Brandon Staley. Our view: Allen was able to play with the pain in Week 10. As the team gets ready for a road game against the Packers in Week 11, we'll have to see Allen in practice on Friday by the latest. We imagine he could be limited when practice begins on Wednesday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. NYJ: Aaron Rodgers targeting mid-December return [Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo]( New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) said Sunday, Nov. 13 on the NBC telecast that he is aiming for a return from the reserve/injured list in mid-December. Our view: Rodgers is feeling great in his recovery, and coming back the same season from an Achilles' injury would be a miracle. The Jets would have to be in the playoff hunt if Rodgers is going to return before Christmas. If the team is out of it, then Rodgers is likely to stay shut down until the 2024 season. Achilles' injuries usually take around a year to recover from, so perhaps it's best to just see him next year instead of rushing him back in 2023. PIT: Jaylen Warren named as the starter [Source: ESPN - Brooke Pryor]( Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Warren told reporters on Monday, Nov. 13, that head coach Mike Tomlin told him he would start over Najee Harris the night before the team's Week 10 game against the Green Bay Packers.'He did kind of mention the night before that whatever had transpired throughout the team, he was saying that he was going to announce me and that I'm deserving of it,' Warren said. Our view: This is a change many thought would happen as Warren has been the better back. Now, Harris is incredibly talented as well and he will still have a sizable role in this offense. For now, Warren leads the RBBC but as we saw in Week 10 it could be near a 50-50 split no matter who is starting. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. NYJ: Michael Carter released [Source: NewYorkJets.com - Ethan Greenberg]( New York Jets RB Michael Carter was released on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Our view: A surprising move to be sure. The Jets used Carter sparingly as a speed back, but he's got more skill than some think. Now, rookie RB Israel Abanikanda could be active for the Jets as a reserve runner. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. CLE: Nick Chubb undergoes second knee surgery [Source: ClevelandBrowns.com]( Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) underwent his scheduled second surgery on Tuesday, Nov. 14, to repair the torn anterior cruciate ligament he suffered in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Our view: According to performing surgeon James Voos, Chubb has 'progressed very well' following his first surgery in late September and should be able to return to play during the 2024 season.
