They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 1. LAR: Carson Wentz set to join LA Rams [Source: The Athletic - Jeff Howe]( Free-agent QB Carson Wentz (Commanders) reportedly agreed to terms on an undisclosed contract with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Our view: The Rams have seen enough of QB Brett Rypien. The team is on their bye in Week 10, but QB Matthew Stafford is expected to return as their starter in Week 11. Wentz should replace Rypien as the primary backup to Stafford going forward. He's not what he used to be, and Wentz went just 2-5 as the Commanders' starter in 2022. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. MIN: Justin Jefferson could practice soon [Source: ESPN.com - Kevin Seifert]() Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring) has a chance to return to practice this week, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell. Our view: The Vikings are 5-4 and are second in the NFC North behind the Lions (6-2). Jefferson is eligible to return to the field in Week 10 against the Saints. He's been out of action since Week 5 with this hamstring injury, and the Vikings should ease him back into action. When he's back, expect Jefferson to be heavily targeted by new starting QB Josh Dobbs. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. CHI: Another limited practice for Justin Fields on Tuesday [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]() Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields (thumb) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Our view: Fields is expected to return to the field this week for the Bears. They're at home against the Panthers on Thursday Night Football in Week 10. Two days of being limited is a good sign for his return. Fantasy GMs who are streaming quarterbacks can consider Fields an option if he plays. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. GB: No concussion for Christian Watson [Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky]() Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (back, chest, head) was not diagnosed with a concussion after the Week 9 game, and his back and chest injuries do not appear to be serious, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Our view: That's good news for Watson who has battled multiple injuries this year. He was in line to be a leading receiver for this team, but injuries have limited Watson to just five games. Watson only has 12 catches for 213 yards and one touchdown this season. Fantasy GMs have long moved on from the young receiver. If he gets healthy, stays healthy, and starts playing up to his potential then we'll recommend taking another look at him. Until then, you've got better options. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. TEN: Martavis Bryant to meet with Titans [Source: Bleacher Report - Jordan Schultz](=) Free-agent WR Martavis Bryant (Raiders) will work out for the Tennessee Titans if he leaves his workout with the Dallas Cowboys unsigned. Our view: Bryant has been making the rounds since he was reinstated by the league. He hasn't played in the NFL since 2018, and Bryant was indefinitely suspended back in 2020. Now, he's clear to play and garnering a bit of interest out there. He's big, fast, and physical as a receiver but who knows what he has left in the tank if he gets back on an NFL field. DET: David Montgomery practices on Tuesday [Source: The Athletic - Colton Pouncy]( Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery (ribs) took part in the team's padded practice on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Our view: The Lions are on the road against the Chargers in Week 10. While Montgomery has been out of action, rookie RB Jahmyr Gibbs has been producing at a high level. We'll see how the touches are split between the two upon Montgomery's return. With what Gibss has done and can do, he's earned a larger role than he had earlier this year when Montgomery was getting most of the work. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. DAL: Dak Prescott giving his receivers a chance [Source: ProFootballReference.com]() Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott leads the league with an on-target pass percentage of 84.7, according to Pro Football Reference. Our view: Prescott is coming through for his team and for Fantasy GMs in 2023. Over his last two games, Prescott has seven touchdown passes and just one interception with 678 passing yards. He's been a borderline QB1 this season as a whole, sitting at the no.12 fantasy quarterback in standard-scoring formats. If he continues to play at a high level like he has over the last two weeks, Prescott could push near the top-5 when all is said and done. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. TEN: Will Levis to remain the starter in Tennessee [Source: The Athletic - Jeff Howe]( Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis was named as the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season by head coach Mike Vrabel on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Our view: This move should not be shocking considering Levis could be the team's franchise quarterback of the future. Ryan Tannehill will serve as his primary backup going forward. The Titans are at the bottom of the AFC South with a 3-5 record, and they're 0-2 in the division. They're not completely out of the playoff hunt, but making the postseason would be nearly impossible. It's better to give Levis the valuable experience he'll need if he is going to be their future starter. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
