NYG: Daniel Jones' to miss rest of season [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]() New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) had an MRI confirm a torn anterior cruciate ligament Monday, Nov. 6, and he'll miss the rest of the season. Our view: Just terrible news for the Giants as Jones just came back from his neck injury this week only to be lost for the season with a knee injury. Signed to a four-year, $160 million extension this offseason, Jones now won't be back in action until 2024 training camp at the earliest. The Giants move forward with QB Tommy DeVito as their starter with veteran QB Matt Barkley also on the roster. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. ARI: Kyler Murray likely to start Week 10 [Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban]( Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) is on track to start in Week 10 if he has a good week of practice, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. Our view: We'll be watching this for you this week but it's looking positive for Murray. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. MIN: Josh Dobbs will start in Week 10 [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]() Minnesota Vikings QB Joshua Dobbs will start against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10, according to sources Monday, Nov. 6. Our view: Dobbs is a player we all can cheer for. He was a surprise starter for the Cardinals at the beginning of the season after they traded for him. Then, the Vikings made a move for Dobbs at last week's trade deadline after the season-ending injury to Kirk Cousins. Rookie QB Jaren Hall started last week, but he exited from the Week 9 contest against the Falcons with an injury. Dobbs stepped onto the field with his new team, and he helped them to victory in Week 9. If you're streaming quarterbacks this year, Dobbs is an option against the Saints in Week 10. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. PHI: IR stint ahead for Dallas Goedert? [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) suffered a fracture in his forearm in Week 9 and will undergo an MRI on Monday, Nov. 6, to determine if he suffered any further damage to the arm. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Goedert is a candidate to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Our view: We know Goedert is going to miss a few games as he recovers from forearm surgery, and that means a stint on IR could be in his future. That move would cost him a minimum of four games. The Eagles should move forward with Jack Stoll as their lead tight end while Goedert is banged up. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. DET: David Montgomery likely to return Week 10 [Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman](=) Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery (ribs) is 'looking good' to return in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to head coach Dan Campbell on Monday, Nov. 6. Our view: Fantasy GMs should be looking forward to Montgomery's return. According to Campbell, rookie RB Jahmyr Gibbs will "get his fair share" even when splitting time with Montgomery. We'll see how the split goes, but earlier this year it was about 60/40 in favor of the veteran. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. JAX: Zay Jones an IR candidate [Source: ESPN.com - Michael DiRocco](=) Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not practice Monday, Nov. 6. His return is considered 'a ways away,' and he's a candidate for the Reserve/Injured list, according to sources Monday. Our view: Jones has missed most of the 2023 season as he nurses this knee injury. We're surprised he hasn't been placed on IR yet, but that could be coming in the near future as he clearly needs more time to heal. SF: Deebo Samuel practicing Monday [Source: ESPN.com - Nick Wagoner](=) San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder) practiced Monday, Nov. 6. Our view: This is a great sign for Samuel's availability in Week 10. He's been out of action since injuring his shoulder in Week 6, but Samuel is trending in the right direction. The 49ers are coming off their bye, and they travel to face the Jaguars in Week 10. If he plays, Samuel has plenty of flex appeal for Fantasy GMs out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. ATL: Taylor Heinicke to start Week 10 [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Atlanta Falcons QB Taylor Heinicke will start against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, according to sources Monday, Nov. 6. Our view: The Falcons didn't win in Week 9, but Heinicke did a good job of running the offense in his first start of the 2023 season. Heinicke completed 21-of-38 attempts for 268 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Falcons' 31-28 Week 9 loss against the Vikings. Fantasy GMs in 2QB/Superflex leagues can consider the veteran passer as an option in Week 10. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. MIN: Jaren Hall in concussion protocol [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]() Minnesota Vikings QB Jaren Hall (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol, according to sources Monday, Nov. 4. Our view: Hall started in Week 9, but a concussion bounced him from the game. That opened the door for Josh Dobbs to step in and play. Dobbs was the eventual starter anyway, he just needed to get up to speed with his new team. Hall will have to go through the league's concussion protocol before he returns to backup Dobbs. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. MIN: Another torn Achilles for Cam Akers? [Source: The 33rd Team - Ari Meirov]() Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings RB Cam Akers (Achilles) is feared to have suffered a torn Achilles in his left foot in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons. Akers suffered a torn Achilles in his right foot in the summer of 2021. Our view: Akers is now going to miss the rest of the season, and his future in the NFL is up in the air. Achilles' injuries are not the career killers they used to be, but it's going to take quite a bit of time for Akers to look like his old self. Akers is set to be a restricted free agent in 2024. The Vikings move on with Alexander Mattison as their unquestioned lead back. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. DAL: Martavis Bryant to work out for Cowboys [Source: The Athletic - Dianna Russini]( Free-agent WR Martavis Bryant (Raiders) will work out for the Dallas Cowboys Tuesday, Nov. 7. Our view: Bryant has been reinstated by the NFL after he was indefinitely suspended in 2020. He hasn't played in the NFL since 2018, but Bryant is big, fast, and physical so a few teams have interest in his services. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
