They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 1. HOU: C.J. Stroud makes NFL history in Week 9 [Source: NFL.com]( Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud completed 30-of-42 passes for 470 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions with 10 rushing yards in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Stroud is the sixth player in NFL history to post at least 450 passing yards, five passing touchdowns and no interceptions, and the first since QB Jared Goff did it for the Los Angeles Rams in 2018. His passing yardage total was also an NFL rookie record. Our view: In posting a record day, Stroud showed the poise, confidence, awareness, and leadership you'd expect from a seasoned veteran. The rookie's ceiling has reached new heights. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. TB: Rachaad White scores pair of touchdowns [Source: ESPN.com]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Rachaad White rushed 20 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns in Week 9 against the Houston Texans, while he added four receptions for 46 yards on his four targets. Our view: White's 24 touches led the team as he continues to gain momentum. TE Cade Otton added two more scores as Tampa Bay's rising offensive tide is lifting all boats. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. BAL: Keaton Mitchell has outstanding game [Source: ESPN.com]() Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9. Our view: Here's your #1 waiver wire pickup of the week. Like Jaleel McLaughlin, Mitchell went undrafted this year because he's an undersized small school speedster who doesn't fit the classic NFL running back mold. Like McLaughlin, he'll be a second fiddle to a bigger back (Gus Edwards), but unlike McLaughlin, Mitchell is in a very good offense. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. CHI: Two touchdowns for Cole Kmet [Source: ESPN.com]() Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet caught six passes for 55 yards and two touchdowns against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. He was targeted eight times during the game. Our view: Tyson Bagent found Kmet twice, once on a terrific play design and once on a ball that challenged Kmet to make a nice play, which he did. After a slow start with Bagent, Kmet is back to being an everyweek tight end play. Justin Fields getting back on the field soon might not matter for Kmet's current healthy fantasy value. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. CLE: Amari Cooper explodes for 139 yards, TD [Source: ESPN]() Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper posted five receptions for a game-high 139 yards and a touchdown on his five targets in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. It's his third 100-yard game of the season, and second while also scoring a touchdown. Our view: Cooper actually had two good games without Deshaun Watson, and now posted his best game of the season in Watson's full return. It's a great sign for his second half of the season value, although next week could be a floor game against the scalding hot Ravens defense. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. NO: Taysom Hill accounts for two TDs [Source: ESPN.com]() New Orleans Saints QB Taysom Hill caught four passes for 13 yards and one touchdown against the Chicago Bears in Week 9. He also threw a three-yard touchdown pass and rushed for 52 yards on 11 carries during the game. Our view: Good things happen for the Saints offense when Hill is on the field. He isn't going away as a short yardage run, sometimes passer, and trusted target for Derek Carr. Consider Hill a solid TE1 against the Vikings next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. NYG: Daniel Jones goes to locker room [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (knee) left the Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders due to an apparent knee injury. He left for the blue medical tent, before emerging and walking slowly to the locker room. He was replaced by QB Tommy Devito. Our view: Tyrod Taylor just went to injured reserve, so the Giants may be about to hit the skids for at least the month if this is serious. The Dallas D/ST could have a field day against DeVito next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. WAS: Jahan Dotson catches TD pass [Source: ESPN.com]() Washington Commanders WR Jahan Dotson caught four passes for 69 yards and one touchdown against the against the New England Patriots in Week 9. He was targeted eight times during the game. Our view: Dotson had his second straight good game as Curtis Samuel's injury has opened the door for him to finally fulfill his fantasy promise this season. He'll be in lineups as a WR3/Flex next week at Seattle whether Samuel is healthy enough to play or not. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. GB: Multiple injuries for Christian Watson [Source: Packers.com](=) Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (back, chest, head) left the Week 9 game early because of back and chest injuries. He is also being evaluated for a concussion. Our view: The two themes of Watson's early career are being a legit deep threat from day one and not being able to stay off of the injury report for long. He hasn't been coming through with Jordan Love limiting the pass offense, and he isn't an essential hold in short bench leagues. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. CLE: Deshaun Watson tosses pair of touchdowns [Source: ESPN]() Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) completed 19-of-30 passes for 219 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals in his return, and he added three runs for 22 yards. Our view: Watson returned to the early season form that had him post steady solid QB1 numbers before he got hurt. He'll face a surging Ravens defense next week, so he might not be an ideal play, but if you have Watson on your roster, it looks like he can contribute for fantasy leagues as long as he stays healthy. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. MIN: Joshua Dobbs surprisingly effective in debut [Source: ESPN]() Minnesota Vikings QB Joshua Dobbs made his team debut in Week 9 against the Atlanta Falcons in place of the injured QB Jaren Hall (concussion), and Dobbs completed 20-of-30 passes for 158 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, while running seven times for a game-high 66 yards and a touchdown. Our view: Dobbs put himself in the NFL Book of Forever in this one. He once again piloted an offense that was brand new to him with players that he may or may not know by name to lead a team to overachieve in his first fourth quarter comeback. He has some fantasy football value in 2QB/Superflex leagues and should start even when Nick Mullens is back from injured reserve. He should also preserve the value of Jordan Addison and TJ Hockenson as startable fantasy plays. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. DAL: Prescott throws for 374, three scores, but falls short of victory [Source: ESPN]() Dak Prescott completed 29 of 44 passes for 374 yards and three scores. He threw no interceptions and added 14 yards as a runner on six attempts. His last pass to CeeDee Lamb was caught just short of the goal line as the Cowboys lost 28-23. Our view: The Cowboys pass offense is flying high as Lamb set a career high for yardage for the second straight week and Prescott also threw a touchdown to Jake Ferguson for the second straight week. Second-year receiver Jalen Tolbert is also emerging as a quality secondary option. Prescott has turned into an everyweek starting fantasy quarterback after a slow first half of the season, and he should have success against the Giants next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. ATL: Jonnu Smith hits triple digits [Source: ESPN]() Atlanta Falcons TE Jonnu Smith was good for five receptions for a game-high 100 yards and a 60-yard touchdown on six targets in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings. Our view: Smith showed his speed on a 60-yard touchdown. He remains a good bye fill-in tight end option for Dallas Goedert and Travis Kelce if he's on the wire a trip to Arizona up next. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. BAL: Two touchdowns for Gus Edwards [Source: ESPN.com]() Baltimore Ravens RB Gus Edwards rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns on five carries against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9. Our view: Edwards was about as productive as you could ask on an afternoon when he only got five carries. UDFA Keaton Mitchell broke out today to make this a three-headed backfield, but the Ravens seem to be enamored with calling Edwards number at the goal line, and he keeps scoring, so he's still at least a flex play against the Browns next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. LVR: Jacobs scores twice in easy win [Source: ESPN]() Josh Jacobs carried the ball 26 times for 98 yards and two touchdowns. He was not targeted in the passing game. Our view: The Raiders showed what they can be out from under the thumb of Josh McDaniels in their most impressive game of the year by a large margin. Aidan O'Connell threw the ball fewer times than Jacobs ran it, although that could change in a more competitive game. The Jets will likely be a limiting factor for the Raiders offense next week, but Jacobs rest of season outlook is up significantly. MIA: Raheem Mostert reaches end zone [Source: ESPN.com]() Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. Our view: Mostert gave the Dolphins a chance to tie the game late with two long runs and scored one of their two touchdowns, but otherwise it was a quiet afternoon for him. Rookie sensation De'Von Achane could be back after the bye, so Mostert's value has probably peaked this season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. PHI: Hurts accounts for three scores [Source: ESPN]() Jalen Hurts completed 17 of 23 pass attempts for 207 yards and two scores and added 36 yards and a score on 10 attempts as a runner in the 28-23 win over Dallas. Our view: This was one of the tougher defenses Hurts has faced this season and he still posted an elite fantasy line. Hurts goes into his bye a smashing success for fantasy again this year, even without Shane Steichen as a playcaller. The extra rest should help the knee condition he has been playing through in recent weeks. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. ATL: Bijan Robinson totals 13 touches [Source: ESPN]() Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson rushed 11 times for a team-high 51 yards in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings, while adding two receptions for eight yards on four targets while also losing a fumble. Our view: Robinson isn't as involved in the passing game with Taylor Heinicke at quarterback, and the Falcons aren't playing well enough to get him and Tyler Allgeier big workloads in the running game. Arizona is a good matchup next week, but Robinson looks like he was a reach in the first round of fantasy drafts after all. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. WAS: Sam Howell surpasses 300-yard mark [Source: ESPN.com]() Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell went 29-for-45 for 325 yards, one touchdown and one interception against the New England Patriots in Week 9. He also rushed for 27 yards on five carries during the game. Our view: Howell was successful against a Bill Belichick defense, albeit one without its two best players. Howell will have a boom/bust matchup at Seattle next week, but he's definitely in consideration to be in lineups if you don't have one of the top 6-8 quarterback options. [Back to Top](#top) [] 20. IND: Josh Downs limps off with knee issue [Source: The Athletic - James Boyd](=) Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (knee) left the Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers due to a knee injury, and he is questionable to return. Our view: Downs came into the week questionable and reportedly was going to play today even though he was not 100%. If this is an aggravation of an existing injury, he could be out for multiple weeks. There's not a clear pickup to target in the Colts passing as a beneficiary of an extended Downs absence. [Back to Top](#top) [] 21. NE: Rhamondre Stevenson has terrific game [Source: ESPN.com]() New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 87 yards and one touchdown on nine carries against the Washington Commanders in Week 9. He also caught four passes for 42 yards during the game. Our view: Stevenson had a long touchdown to key his best fantasy game of the year. This is a reminder that the Washington defense is tonic for ailing offenses and fantasy plays, so the Seahawks offense should bounce back next week, while Stevenson has a tougher draw when the Colts come to town in Week 10. [Back to Top](#top) [] 22. GB: Aaron Jones just misses 100 total yards [Source: ESPN]() Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones rushed 20 times for 73 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, while adding four receptions for 26 yards on six targets. Our view: The team told us Jones would finally be ready for his normal workload today, and they were telling the truth. Jones is back to being a fantasy RB1 and we shouldn't have any questions about whether he should be in lineups against the Steelers next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 23. NYG: Barkley still produces in blowout loss [Source: ESPN]() Saquon Barkley gained 90 yards on 16 carries and caught three of four targets for 23 yards in the 30-6 loss to the Raiders. Our view: Barkley got a little banged up in the game and curiously was still in the game when it was out of hand, but his fantasy managers probably don't mind. The outlook for the Giants offense is bleak with Dallas up next and an undrafted free agent rookie possibly starting at quarterback, but he showed this week that he needs to stay in lineups. [Back to Top](#top) [] 24. IND: Taylor leads backfield, scores through the air [Source: ESPN]() Jonathan Taylor carried the ball 18 times for 47 yards and gained 22 yards on five receptions, including a score. Our view: Zack Moss only had seven carries and didn't get a target, so we can safely put Taylor atop the depth chart as a true lead back. He should be a big help for teams that took him at a discount when his stock had the cloud of discord with the Colts hanging over him. [Back to Top](#top) [] 25. LAC: Joshua Palmer placed on IR [Source: Chargers.com](=) Los Angeles Chargers WR Joshua Palmer (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Sunday, Nov. 5. Our view: First round pick Quentin Johnston should play a larger role in the passing game with Palmer out at least four weeks. The Chargers could also lean on their tight end duo of Donald Parham and Gerald Everett more and run fewer three wide receiver sets. [Back to Top](#top) [] 26. MIA: Eight catches for Tyreek Hill [Source: ESPN.com]() Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill caught eight passes for 62 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. He was targeted 10 times during the game. Our view: Hill never got free in this one, but his floor games are still tolerable. He'll head into his bye getting some well-needed rest for his hip injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 27. SEA: Geno Smith turns ball over twice [Source: ESPN.com]() Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith went 13-for-28 for 157 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9. He also lost a fumble during the game. Our view: The Ravens have been an elite defense against the Seahawks and Lions in recent weeks. Smith should bounce back next week against the Washington defense, while Deshaun Watson will try to solve Baltimore's defense in what could be a low-scoring divisional showdown next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 28. NO: Alvin Kamara finishes with 70 total yards [Source: ESPN.com]() New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed for 26 yards on nine carries against the Chicago Bears in Week 9. He also caught four passes for 44 yards during the game. Our view: Kamara was down a little this week with Taysom Hill dominating the box score, but the overall improvement in the Saints offense is going to help him have more scoring opportunities and higher efficiency going forward. He'll run at the Vikings tough run defense next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 29. CAR: Thielen quiet in lopsided loss [Source: ESPN]() Adam Thielen caught five of six targets for 29 yards in the loss to the Colts. Our view: This was Thielen's first real down game since Week 1. He has been an everyweek start and even hit league winner production levels before slowing down. He should still be in lineups against Chicago on Thursday, but he's more WR3/Flex than the WR1 he was a month ago. [Back to Top](#top) [] 30. SEA: Kenneth Walker struggles in Week 9 [Source: ESPN.com]() Seattle Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III rushed for 16 yards on nine carries against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9. He also caught one pass for one yard during the game. Our view: Walker and the running game never got out of the driveway in this one. He is still one of the most valuable fantasy running backs, but now we can see how low his floor is. He should have a much better game at home against Washington next week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 31. KC: Patrick Mahomes tosses two touchdowns [Source: ESPN.com]() Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes went 20-for-30 for 185 yards and two touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins in Week 9. He also rushed for 24 yards on six carries during the game. Our view: Mahomes came out red hot on the first drive and played well in the first half, but a 21-0 halftime lead had the Chiefs playing more conservative on offense in the second half. Travis Kelce was also contained by the Dolphins defense, so Mahomes didn't have a strong fantasy game. He's still one of the most valuable quarterbacks in fantasy heading into his bye. [Back to Top](#top) [] 32. CHI: Tyson Bagent throws two TDs, three INTs [Source: ESPN.com]() Chicago Bears QB Tyson Bagent went 18-for-30 for 220 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions against the New Orleans Saints in Week 9. He also rushed for 70 yards on eight carries during the game but did lose a fumble. Our view: Bagent was responsible for four turnovers, but he also accounted for two scores, was a gutsy and productive runner, and kept the Bears in the game. It looks like he has a long career ahead of him as at worst a solid NFL backup. If he starts on Thursday against the Panthers, he'll be worth a QB2/Superflex look. [Back to Top](#top) [] 33. LAR: Brett Rypien struggles in road loss [Source: ESPN]() Los Angeles Rams QB Brett Rypien completed 13-of-28 passes for 130 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers, while adding 19 rushing yards on three attempts with two fumbles and one lost. Our view: The Rams offense was miserable with Rypien. No one was a viable play. Hopefully Matthew Stafford will be ready to go after next week's bye, but this game was bad enough that the Rams may be tempted to put Stafford back out there before his thumb is healed. He would probably still outperform Rypien even if his thumb was amputated. [Back to Top](#top) [] 34. ARI: Clayton Tune can't carry team [Source: ESPN]() Arizona Cardinals QB Clayton Tune completed 11-of-20 passes for just 58 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns in his first NFL start, while adding five runs for a team-high 28 yards with one lost fumble. Our view: Kyler Murray can't get back soon enough. The Cardinals will get an extra late round pick in the Joshua Dobbs trade, but they also lost the ability to be competitive without Murray by dealing Dobbs to Minnesota. Hopefully Murray will start next week against the Falcons. If not, we can't play any Cardinals. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
