[[youtube]]()[[podcast]]([[spotify]]() [] 1. LVR: Jimmy Garoppolo passes physical [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Las Vegas Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) passed his training camp physical Sunday, July 23, and is expected to begin training camp with his teammates, according to a league source. He will not be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Our view: This is good news for Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Josh Jacobs, and really the whole Raiders offense. We can't be sure Garoppolo will last for the entire season (or even camp and the preseason), but if any of the offensive players for Las Vegas are going to hit their best case scenarios, he has to stay healthy. Brian Hoyer or fourth round pick Aidan O'Connell are waiting in the wings if Garoppolo suffers another injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. ATL: Drake London to sit vs. Minnesota [Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Scott Bair]( Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London (groin) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 9 versus the Minnesota Vikings. Our view: Taylor Heinicke will be without the team's #1 receiver against the Vikings. Van Jefferson and KhaDarel Hodge will pick up the slack at wide receiver, and hopefully the team will have a game plan to feature Kyle Pitts in the passing game. London is questionable at best for the Week 10 game against Arizona. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. CLE: Deshaun Watson took full team reps Friday [Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot]() Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) took all the first-team reps in the portion of practice open to the media Friday, Nov. 3. Our view: Watson is expected to start, which is good news for Amari Cooper, David Njoku, and especially Elijah Moore. Watson is a risky low ceiling QB1 play after he left his last start early, but he's a suitable QB2/Superflex in a thin week at quarterback with four teams and three good offenses on bye. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. LAR: Matthew Stafford likely true game-time decision [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford (thumb) will not practice again on Friday, Nov. 3, and is listed as questionable on the final Week 9 injury report. Additionally, head Sean McVay told reporters that the team will wait as long as it can before deciding if he will play against the Green Bay Packers. Our view: We'll project the Rams offense without Stafford this week, which makes Cooper Kupp and a banged up Puka Nacua no better than WR3/Flex plays. Hopefully the Rams bye next week allows Stafford to return and throw effectively in Week 11. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. CIN: Joe Mixon good to go [Source: The Cincinnati Enquirer - Kelsey Conway]( Cincinnati Bengals RB Joe Mixon (chest) will play against the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, according to sources Friday, Nov. 3. Our view: Mixon looked spry in a reinvigorated Bengals offense last week. He should be a solid RB1 going forward. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. WAS: Curtis Samuel ruled out [Source: ESPN.com - John Keim]() Updating a previous report, Washington Commanders WR Curtis Samuel (foot) did not practice Friday, Nov. 3, and was ruled out for the Week 9 game against the New England Patriots. Our view: Jahan Dotson looks like a solid WR3/Flex start this week with upside. Jamison Crowder and Dyami Brown split the snaps vacated by Samuel last week, but Crowder was much more productive, making him a what the heck flex for the matchup at New England. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. HOU: Dameon Pierce to miss Week 9 [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]() Houston Texans RB Dameon Pierce (ankle) will not play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9, according to sources Friday, Nov. 3. Our view: Devin Singletary is worth an RB2 start as the lead back for the Texans, and hopefully he can revive this running game and stake his claim to remain the starter, or at least get some goal line opportunities over Pierce later in the season. Pierce has been ineffective there, although the blame falls more on the offensive line than him. Singletary might better after contact and a little slippier than the linear Pierce. Mike Boone will be the backup this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. IND: Josh Downs practicing Friday [Source: Indianapolis Star - Nate Atkins]() Indianapolis Colts WR Josh Downs (knee) is practicing Friday, Nov. 3. Our view: Downs was added to the injury report yesterday, which can be a bad sign regarding player availability, but his return to practice today should mean that he'll be good to go against the Panthers Sunday. He has been a good WR3/Flex option in games that Gardner Minshew has started this season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. MIA: Miami's Week 9 injury report [Source: NFL Network - Cameron Wolfe]( Miami Dolphins OL Robert Hunt (hamstring) and S Brandon Jones (concussion) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 9 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. OT Terron Armstead (knee), WR Braxton Berrios (hamstring), CB Justin Bethel (foot), WR River Cracraft (shoulder), CB Xavien Howard (groin), CB Nik Needham (Achilles), TE Durham Smythe (ankle) and C Connor Williams (groin) were limited in practice on Friday, Nov. 3, and are listed as questionable. RB Raheem Mostert (ankle) and CB Jalen Ramsey (knee) were also limited in practice on Friday but have been removed from the injury report. RB Alec Ingold (foot) and WR Jaylen Waddle (back) practiced in full all week and also no longer appear on the injury report. Our view: Mostert being removed from the injury report is your go-ahead to play him as your RB2 this week in Germany. Salvon Ahmed and Jeff Wilson are splitting the backup work and they got as many touches combined as Mostert last week, so his value is trending down with De'Von Achane also potentially due back in Week 11 after the team's bye. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. TEN: Will Levis quiet in second start [Source: ESPN.com]() Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis completed 22 of his 39 passes for 262 yards and an interception in a 20-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9. Our view: Things didn't come as easily to Levis against a better pass rush, but he still showed more promise in the passing game than expected. The Titans should consider starting him next week at Tampa regardless of Ryan Tannehill's condition. It looks like the Titans passing game will have more fantasy value with Levis than it did with Tannehill, and that Levis will keep the offense viable enough to support Derrick Henry's value as a fantasy RB1. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. CHI: Justin Fields back on the practice field [Source: The Athletic - Kevin Fishbain]( Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields (thumb) was returned to a limited practice on Friday, Nov. 3, and is listed as doubtful for Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. Our view: The Bears play on Thursday against Carolina, so hopefully this is a sign that Fields could be ready to play in Week 10. Tyson Bagent will get the start in the Superdome this week while Fields gets closer to a return. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. NYG: Darren Waller to sit against former team [Source: Giants.com](=) New York Giants TE Darren Waller (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 9 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Our view: Waller is probably out for next week's game against the Cowboys, and unless he gets in at least a limited practice next week, Week 11 is in danger too. Daniel Bellinger is a desperation tight end play with some upside in place of Waller, and Wan'Dale Robinson could get some of Waller's vacated targets in the middle of the field.
