SF: Christian McCaffrey questionable for Week 7 [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]() San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (oblique) was a limited participant at practice Saturday, Oct. 21, and is listed as questionable on the Week 7 injury report. Our view: It's feeling 50-50 to us on Saturday night for McCaffrey. We'll maybe have a better idea Sunday but that's not certain as the 49ers game is Monday night. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. LAR: Darrell Henderson elevated [Source: Los Angeles Rams](=) Los Angeles Rams RB Darrell Henderson was elevated from the practice squad for Week 7 on Saturday, Oct. 21. Our view: Henderson came back to the Rams with both Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers out of action. The Rams have rookie Zach Evans as their starter, but Henderson will try to work into the mix as a reserve. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. CHI: Tyson Bagent to start Week 7 [Source: NFL.com - Grant Gordon]() Chicago Bears QB Tyson Bagent will start Week 7's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to head coach Matt Eberflus. Our view: When Justin Fields was knocked out of action last week, Bagent came in and completed 10-of-14 passes for 83 yards, one interception, plus a fumble in the Bears' 19-13, Week 6 loss to the Vikings. The undrafted rookie from Shepherd is going to make rookie mistakes, but the team sees him as the best option as Fields recovers from his hand injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. CHI: No IR expected for Justin Fields [Source: NFL.com - Grant Gordon]() Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields (thumb) likely will not be placed on the Reserve/Injured list because of his thumb injury, according to head coach Matt Eberflus. Our view: Eberflus didn't offer a specific timetable for when Fields could return, saying, "it's really going to come down to grip strength." There is no surgery planned at this time, so the Bears will just wait for Fields to heal. In the meantime, Tyson Bagent gets to start at quarterback. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. CLE: Deon Jackson promoted [Source: ClevelandBrowns.com]() Cleveland Browns RB Deon Jackson was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad on Saturday, Oct. 21. In addition, QB PJ Walker and LB Charlie Thomas III were elevated from the practice squad for Week 7. Our view: With Kareem Hunt banged up, Jackson gets the call-up. The Browns have Jerome Ford as their lead back and Pierre Strong is a change-of-pace option. Jackson will try to earn a role behind those two. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. MIA: Jeff Wilson activated [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Miami Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (finger, ribs) was activated off injured reserve on Saturday, Oct. 21. Our view: Wilson is an exciting asset for the Dolphins' offense. He brings more speed to the field, and he understands the zone-blocking concepts perfectly. We'll see what he does in his first game back as Wilson tries to earn snaps behind Raheem Mostert. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. LAR: Kyren Williams headed to IR [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Los Angeles Rams RB Kyren Williams (ankle) is set to be placed on injured reserve, per sources on Saturday, Oct. 21. Our view: This ankle injury was first considered minor, with some reporting Williams would only miss one game of action. Now, Williams is shut down for at least the next four weeks. Williams will be eligible to return for the Week 12 game against the Cardinals. The Rams move forward with Zach Evans and Darrell Henderson in their backfield, with guys like Royce Freeman and Myles Gaskin mixing in as well. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. LVR: Brian Hoyer to start Week 7 [Source: The Athletic - Dianna Russini]( Las Vegas Raiders QB Brian Hoyer will start Week 7's game against the Chicago Bears, according to a source. Our view: The Raiders stick with Hoyer who came in for an injured Jimmy Garoppolo. We still like rookie QB Aidan O'Connell, but after one start earlier this year (with plenty of rookie mistakes) the Raiders want Hoyer out there for the time being. Adjust projections for all Raiders assets accordingly. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. PIT: Pat Freiermuth placed on injured reserve [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]( The Pittsburgh Steelers placed TE Pat Freiermuth (hamstring) on the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Oct. 21. Our view: This hamstring problem has knocked Freiermuth out of action for the last couple of weeks, and now Freiermuth will be out of action until at least Week 10. The Steelers move forward with rookie TE Darnell Washington earning a larger role on offense. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. PIT: Diontae Johnson activated from injured reserve [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]( The Pittsburgh Steelers activated WR Diontae Johnson (hamstring) from the Reserve/Injured list Saturday, Oct. 21. Our view: This is good news for the Steelers' offense, especially one that is regularly held back by OC Matt Canada. Johnson is a playmaker who QB Kenny Pickett trusts to move the chains. Fantasy GMs should consider Johnson a WR3/flex option. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family. I hope all the bounces go your way on Sunday. Peace, J [avatar] Joe Bryant Guide = = [[twitter]]([[facebook]](=)[[discord]]([[youtube]]([[instagram]]( = Written By Joe Bryant.
