SF: Christian McCaffrey considered day-to-day [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (oblique) will not practice Thursday, Oct. 19, but the team reportedly received 'encouraging' results on the MRI of his injured oblique and considers him day-to-day. Our view: Fingers crossed here for more encouraging news. It's possible we'll have some clarity on Friday. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. CLE: Deshaun Watson returns to practice [Source: ESPN.com - Jim Trotter]() Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) is participating in practice Thursday, Oct. 19. Our view: Watson could play in Week 7 if he feels like he's ready. He's been cleared for a few weeks, but the coaching staff trusts Watson knows his body and he has not felt like he's yet ready to play. That could be changing now, so stay tuned. If Watson can't go, PJ Walker will continue as the team's starter. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. LAR: Kyren Williams using scooter [Source: The Athletic - Jourdan Rodrigue]() Los Angeles Rams RB Kyren Williams (ankle) had his left ankle in a 'cast-like material' and was using a scooter during practice Wednesday, Oct. 18, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic. Our view: This ankle injury was worse than originally feared. It's likely to keep Williams out of action for a few weeks after initial reports said it might just be one game of missed action. With Ronnie Rivers (knee) on IR, the Rams are turning to rookie RB Zach Evans as the starter. However, the Rams also have guys like Darrell Henderson, Royce Freeman, and Myles Gaskin there to get some work in as well. Evans has a ton of talent, and if he's motivated then the Rams could have at least a solid starting option while Williams is out. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. LVR: Jimmy Garoppolo to sit in Week 7 [Source: Las Vegas Review-Journal - Vincent Bonsignore]( Las Vegas Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo (back) was ruled out for Week 7 against the Chicago Bears. Our view: Raiders HC Josh McDaniels said Garoppolo "dodged a big bullet" with this back injury, but he's still going to miss the game against the Bears. That means the team could turn to Brian Hoyer or rookie Aidan O'Connell as their starter. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. ARI: Kyler Murray practices again on Thursday [Source: ESPN.com - Josh Weinfuss]() Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (knee) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Oct. 19. Our view: There's a small chance that Murray will play in Week 7. We think it would be best if he practiced this week with an eye on playing in Week 8 against the Browns, but Murray might be pushing to get out there sooner. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. LVR: Davante Adams frustrated [Source: ESPN.com - Paul Gutierrez]( Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams admitted he's frustrated with his role in the offense. Our view: Adams has not done as much as he's wanted to do over the last couple of weeks. He's been banged up, but the team isn't heavily targeting him like Adams used to be. Over the past two games (both Raiders wins), Adams has six receptions for 74 yards and no touchdowns. He's only been targeted nine times during this two-game stretch. Against the Bears in Week 7, Fantasy GMs should get WR1 production from Adams once again. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. CLE: Nick Chubb back in the gym [Source: ESPN - Jake Trotter]( Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) reportedly started lifting weights again recently, according to a source. Our view: Per this report, Chubb is keeping the workouts limited to his upper body and still awaiting surgery on his torn anterior cruciate ligament. Adam Schefter has reported this is an MCL injury, but either way, we're not going to see Chubb until the 2024 season. He's got one year left on his deal with a cap number of $15.8 million in 2024 with $4 million remaining in dead money. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. NYG: Daniel Jones limited again [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (neck) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 19. Our view: We don't like seeing Jones not be fully cleared this late in the week. Let's see what he's able to do Friday. CAR: Terrace Marshall requests trade [Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler]() Carolina Panthers WR Terrace Marshall Jr. has received permission to seek a trade in hopes he can find a more prominent role elsewhere, according to sources. Our view: This news has been out there for about a week. Marshall, a 2021 second-round pick, has fallen out of favor with the Panthers and could use a fresh start. He's got a nice size/speed combination, so the Panthers could fetch a Day 3 pick for his services. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. NE: Malik Cunningham to have a role? [Source: ESPN.com - Dan Graziano]( New England Patriots QB/WR Malik Cunningham could be incorporated into the offense in 'a somewhat significant way,' according to Dan Graziano of ESPN.com. Our view: In super deep dynasty formats, we're curious to see how Cunningham will be used by the Patriots. He's a gadget player without a position, but Cunningham is also a playmaker who can make defenders miss. There could be something here if Cunningham is used the right way and plays up to his potential. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. MIA: Jeff Wilson takes part in practice [Source: MiamiDolphins.com]() Miami Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (finger, ribs) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 19. Our view: Good news here for Wilson as it looks like he'll be able to play this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. NE: Rhamondre Stevenson off injury report [Source: Patriots.com]( New England Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 19, and has been removed from the Week 7 injury report. Our view: Good news for Stevenson and the Patriots. Both can use some. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. BUF: Damien Harris not practicing Thursday [Source: The Buffalo News - Katherine Fitzgerald](=) Buffalo Bills RB Damien Harris (neck) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 19. Our view: It doesn't seem like Harris is going to play this week. He has a neck injury, plus Harris needs to clear concussion protocol in order to get back out there. The Bills could be using more Latavius Murray this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. PHI: DeVonta Smith back at practice on Thursday [Source: Philly.com - Zach Berman]() Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) was spotted on the field with a sleeve on his right leg on Thursday, Oct. 19, after sitting out the team's first practice of the week. Our view: It's a huge game for the Eagles as they take on the Dolphins in Week 7. Smith missed Wednesday's practice, but the hamstring injury is thought to be minor. If he plays on Sunday night, Smith is worth starting as a WR2/flex option for your fantasy team. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
