Plus - PJ Walker To Start For Browns, Deshaun Watson May Miss More Time  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ 10/15/23 [Unsubscribe |]( [Read Online]( | [Join]( | [GO PRO](=) Howdy {NAME}, Here. [Watch On YouTube 👉](=) [] 1. CLE: Browns elevate PJ Walker [Source: ClevelandBrowns.com]( Cleveland Browns QB PJ Walker and WR Jaelon Darden were elevated from the practice squad for Week 6 on Saturday, Oct. 14. Our view: Walker is likely to start this week against the 49ers as the team has seen enough (for now) of rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson. With Deshaun Watson dealing with a rotator cuff contusion in his throwing shoulder, Walker may get more than one start. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. LAC: Austin Ekeler good to go [Source: Chargers.com](=) Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (ankle) was a full participant at practice Saturday, Oct. 14, and carries no designation on the final Week 6 injury report. Our view: Welcome back, Austin Ekeler. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. CLE: Deshaun Watson could miss more time [Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot]( Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) could miss more games because of a deep contusion in his rotator cuff. Our view: This situation is...curious. Watson was cleared to play in Week 4, but it was his decision to sit out. The Browns had a Week 5 bye, and now Watson is going to miss Week 6 and maybe even more time after that. Fantasy GMs are downgrading the skill position players on the Browns with Watson out of action. The Browns are turning to PJ Walker as their starter against the 49ers on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. IND: Mo Alie-Cox good to go [Source: Colts.com]() Indianapolis Colts TE Mo Alie-Cox (concussion) has cleared the concussion protocol and now carries no designation in Week 6, the team revealed on Saturday, Oct. 14. Our view: That's going to help the Colts offense on Sunday against the Jaguars. Alie-Cox will provide QB Gardner Minshew with a big-bodied target to help move the chains. From a fantasy perspective, you likely have better options. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. DAL: Tony Pollard good to go [Source: DallasCowboys.com - Patrik Walker]() Dallas Cowboys RB Tony Pollard (shoulder) practiced in full for the second straight day on Saturday, Oct. 14, and carries no designation for Week 6. Our view: That's a Friday and Saturday practice of full participation for Pollard. Against the Chargers on Monday night, Pollard is an RB1 as per usual for Fantasy GMs out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. NYJ: Aaron Rodgers rehab update [Source: New York Post - Andrew Crane](=) New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) is able to walk without crutches as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles' tendon, the team revealed on Thursday, Oct. 12. Our view: Rodgers is trying to make it back this season. "There's nothing normal about how I'm attacking this rehab," Rodgers, 39, told ESPN last week. If the Jets are nosing around the playoffs, Rodgers could possibly return in January. Most likely, we'll just have to wait and see Rodgers next season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. TB: TB had interest in Drew Lock [Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler]() The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had expressed interest in signing free-agent QB Drew Lock during the offseason, before he ultimately re-signed with the Seattle Seahawks, according to general manager Jason Licht. Our view: This was known during the offseason. Instead of adding Lock, the Buccaneers went with Baker Mayfield. In four games this year, Mayfield has 882 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions. Lock has seen a little bit of playing time behind Geno Smith this year. Like Smith a couple of years ago, Lock is looking for his next opportunity and staying patient. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. HOU: Noah Brown to play in Week 6 [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans WR Noah Brown (groin) will be activated from injured reserve and play in Week 6, per sources on Saturday, Oct. 14. Our view: Brown hasn't played since Week 1, but he was in line to be a larger part of the Texans' passing attack. We may not see WR Tank Dell this week against the Saints as he suffered a concussion last week. That opens up the door of opportunity for Brown. In his first game back, we like a wait-and-see approach but in deeper leagues, we like Brown as a bench stash for if/when his role grows. They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 9. BAL: Zay Flowers overdue for a TD? [Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley]() Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers' 29 receptions this season are tied for the most of any player without a touchdown. Our view: In five games, Flowers has been targeted 40 times and has 29 catches for 317 yards. He doesn't have a 100-yard game yet, and the talented rookie has yet to get a receiving touchdown. The lack of scoring has kept his fantasy value low. Right now, Flowers is the no.41 fantasy receiver in standard-scoring leagues. Add in more touchdowns, and Flowers could get to solid flex play status each week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. IND: Colts interested in Jerry Jeudy [Source: AtoZ Sports - Destin Adams]() Denver Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy is drawing trade interest from the Indianapolis Colts, per sources on Thursday, Oct. 12. Our view: Jeudy acts like he doesn't want to play for the Broncos, and he's likely to be dealt in the next couple of weeks - if not sooner. A first-round pick in the 2020 NFL draft, Jeudy was seen by most as the best wide receiver in the best wide receiver class in NFL history. Instead of taking the league by storm like fellow 2020 first-round picks Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb, Jeudy has mainly been hurt, dropped passes, or basically disappointed in almost every game with the Broncos. If the Colts or any team trades for him, don't expect the price tag to be too high based on Jeudy's lack of production and attitude. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. CIN: Tee Higgins a game-time decision [Source: The Cincinnati Enquirer - Kelsey Conway](=) Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins (ribs) will be a game-time decision for Week 6, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Our view: Higgins missed Week 5, but a full participation on Friday in practice means he's on track to play. Rib injuries come down to pain tolerance, so if Higgins plays then we like him as a deep 'what the heck' flex in Week 6 against the Seahawks. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. CAR: Terrace Marshall Jr. could be dealt [Source: SI.com - Albert Breer]( Carolina Panthers WR Terrace Marshall Jr. is reportedly on the trading block, according to SI.com's Albert Breer. Our view: Marshall has taken a back seat in the Panthers' passing attack. Adam Thielen is doing the heavy lifting, DJ Chark is still taking the top off the defense, and rookie Jonathan Mingo has impressed as well. Marshall has the talent with body control and speed to his game, but he's yet to do much other than flash here and there. Perhaps a fresh start would do him some good. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. CAR: Passing attack leaning on Adam Thielen [Source: ESPN - Eric Moody]() Carolina Panthers WR Adam Thielen has averaged 11 targets over the last four games, logging at least eight targets in all four contests and topping 75 receiving yards three times. Our view: Things started off slowly for Thielen as he only had nine catches in the first two games combined. Over the last three games, Thielen has 29 catches, two 100-yard games, and two touchdowns. This week against the Dolphins, the Panthers should fall behind and have to go through the air to fight back. That means Thielen could produce like a WR1 (again) for Fantasy GMs out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. CAR: Chuba Hubbard to be main back in Week 6 [Source: The Athletic - Joseph Person]( Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard will receive most of the work at running back in Week 6 with Miles Sanders (shoulder) unavailable, according to head coach Frank Reich. Our view: Hubbard has looked good this year in limited duty. Now against the Dolphins in a game that could get away from them, Hubbard will start on Sunday. If/when the Panthers fall behind, that means Hubbard could get peppered with targets as the pass-catching back. Laviska Shenault could get more usage out of the backfield as well. We like Hubbard as an RB2/flex play in Week 6. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. CAR: Miles Sanders unlikely to miss much time [Source: The Athletic - Joseph Person]( Carolina Panthers RB Miles Sanders (shoulder) is not expected to miss extended time because of his shoulder injury, according to head coach Frank Reich. Our view: Sanders is out in Week 6 against the 49ers, but it sounds like he could return after that. The Panthers will turn to Chuba Hubbard as their lead back with Sanders on the sidelines. Laviska Shenault could get more work in the backfield as well. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family.
