â [avatar] "Hands down the best fantasy football information available. They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 â [] 1. MIA: De'Von Achane out until Week 11 [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Wednesday, Oct. 11. He'll be eligible to return after the team's bye week in Week 10. Our view: The Dolphins' backfield will now feature Raheem Mostert as the lead back. Behind him, without Achane until Week 11, guys like Jeff Wilson and Salvon Ahmed will compete to be the primary backup. Keep an eye on Matt Waldman favorite Chris Brooks if you're in a deep league. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. KC: Questionable tag for Travis Kelce [Source: Chiefs.com](=) Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 11, and is listed as questionable for Week 6. Our view: It looks like Kelce is going to play on Thursday night. Against the Broncos terrible defense, the Chiefs should be able to have their way no matter what they want to do in Week 6. â [] 3. MIA: Jeff Wilson Jr. cleared to practice [Source: ESPN.com - Marcel Louis-Jacques]( Miami Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson Jr. (rib, finger) was designated to return from injured reserve on Wednesday, Oct. 11, and will practice with the team. Our view: With De'Von Achane out for at least four weeks (if not more), Wilson could work his way into the mix. Wilson knows how to gash defenses, and in this offense, he can take advantage of the space given to runners. Raheem Mostert is the team's lead back, but Wilson will compete with Salvon Ahmed (back at practice on Wednesday) to be the primary backup. It's complicated, but this backfield is exciting to think about the fantasy potential. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. DEN: Javonte Williams not on injury report [Source: DenverBroncos.com - Aric DiLalla]( Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 11, and is not on the injury report for Week 6. Our view: Williams was close to playing on Sunday against the Jets. Broncos HC Sean Payton decided to give him some rest as they play the Chiefs on Thursday night. Williams will be their lead back, but Samaje Perine and Jaleel McLaughlin will work into the mix behind him. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. MIN: Justin Jefferson officially placed on IR [Source: Vikings.com](=) Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: This move puts Jefferson out of action for a minimum of four weeks. With the Vikings season lost, there's a chance Jefferson doesn't return in November if he's not 100 percent healthy. The Vikings move forward with KJ Osborn and rookie Jordan Addison as their top two wide receivers. Expect tight end TJ Hockenson to get more work as well. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. IND: Anthony Richardson could still need surgery [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Updating previous reports, Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (shoulder) is now expected to be out four to eight weeks. Our view: More patience will be required here with the rookie quarterback. Richardson could still wind up requiring surgery, and the team plans on being patient with the injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. IND: Jonathan Taylor to play more [Source: NFL.com]() Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor is expected to see a bigger workload in Week 6, head coach Shane Steichen said on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: Taylor was back last week, but it was Zack Moss who went off. In his first game of 2023, Taylor rushed six times for 18 yards in the Colts' Week 5 win over the Titans, adding one reception for 16 additional yards. Taylor will get ramped up and be the lead back, but Moss has done enough (especially last week) to earn a larger role. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. CLE: Deshaun Watson not practicing [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) will not practice on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: If Watson can't play, the Browns could turn to PJ Walker as their starter. Downgrade all Browns players if Walker is in the lineup as Watson misses more time. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. HOU: Tank Dell not expected to play [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]( Houston Texans WR Tank Dell (concussion) is progressing through the concussion protocol but is currently not expected to play in Week 6, per source on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: Let's see if something changes later this week but it's not looking right now like Dell will be available. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. MIN: Jordan Addison listed as limited [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: Keep an eye on this one as with Justin Jefferson out, the Vikings will need all the receiving help they can find. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. ARI: Keaontay Ingram listed as starter [Source: AZCardinals.com]( Arizona Cardinals RB Keaontay Ingram is listed as the team's starter on its latest depth chart on Wednesday, Oct. 11, ahead of RB Emari Demercado. Our view: Ingram has missed time over the last couple of weeks with a neck injury. If healthy, he should work with Demercado in an RBBC with Ingram leading the way. NE: Mac Jones starting [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]() New England Patriots QB Mac Jones was confirmed the starter in Week 6 by head coach Bill Belichick Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: You know things are shaky when a team has to announce you as the starter when you've been the starter in every game this season. Jones is not playing good football, and the team is reeling this season. Bailey Zappe didn't look great when he came in for an ineffective Jones last week, but he's the next man up if the team decides to sit Jones down (again). [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. CHI: Cole Kmet limited Wednesday [Source: Chicago Bears PR](=) Chicago Bears TE Cole Kmet (hamstring) was limited at practice on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: That's a good sign for his availability on Sunday against the Vikings. Kmet has 12 catches, 127 yards, and three touchdowns over the last two games. The Bears won their first game last week, and they're trying to make it two in a row in a divisional matchup in Week 6. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. NYG: Daniel Jones out of practice [Source: ESPN.com - Jordan Raanan]() New York Giants QB Daniel Jones (neck) is sore and will not practice Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: The Giants play on Sunday Night Football against the Bills in Week 6. Jones is likely getting some rest. Let's see what he can do on Friday at the latest. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. TEN: Treylon Burks not practicing [Source: AtoZ Sports - Sam Phalen](=) Tennessee Titans WR Treylon Burks will not practice on Wednesday, Oct. 11, head coach Mike Vrabel said. Our view: Burks (knee) is expected to begin running this week, but Vrabel was mum on whether Burks will be available in Week 6. It sounds like he's not quite ready to return. That means DeAndre Hopkins will continue to get almost everything with Ryan Tannehill goes back to pass. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. CHI: Roschon Johnson not practicing [Source: Chicago Bears PR](=) Chicago Bears RB Roschon Johnson (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: Johnson was concussed last Thursday and he wasn't able to begin this week of practice. That's not a great sign for his availability for Sunday's game against the Vikings. If Johnson can't play, we'll see D'Onta Foreman as the team's starter. We think Foreman has flex appeal with upside in that role. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. BAL: Odell Beckham listed as limited [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: Beckham should be out there against the Titans on Sunday morning in London. From a fantasy perspective, you could do better and we only recommend Beckham as a deep 'what the heck' flex in Week 6. [Back to Top](#top) [] 18. CHI: Khalil Herbert a 'DNP' Wednesday [Source: Chicago Bears PR](=) Chicago Bears RB Khalil Herbert (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: No surprise here. A few days ago, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Herbert is expected to miss "multiple weeks." With Roschon Johnson coming back from a concussion (and not yet being cleared) the Bears could go with D'Onta Foreman as their starter in Week 6. [Back to Top](#top) [] 19. DEN: Greg Dulcich listed as questionable [Source: DenverBroncos.com - Aric DiLalla]( Denver Broncos TE Greg Dulcich (hamstring) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 11, but is listed as questionable for Week 6. Our view: Dulcich is close to returning. He looks good on the practice field according to our very own Cecil Lammey, but Dulcich may not yet return until Week 7. When he's out there, expect Dulcich to be a big part of what the Broncos want to do on offense. If you've got the roster space, add him from the waiver wire now. [Back to Top](#top) [] 20. NYG: Saquon Barkley a limited participant [Source: FOX Sports - Ralph Vacchiano]() New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 11. Our view: Having Barkley out there against the Bills on Sunday night would be a boost for the Giants offense. He's coming back from the high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 2, and Barkley seemed like he was close to playing last week. We'd feel better about his status if he got a full practice in on Friday. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of the Footballguys Family. We'll see you tomorrow with the Update.
