[Watch On YouTube 👉](=) [] 1. LAR: Cooper Kupp's window opens [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday, Oct. 4, with the opening of his 21-day window. Our view: Rookie WR Puka Nacua has been getting it done in a big way for the Rams' passing game without Kupp on the field. When Kupp returns, it will change the target structure but that doesn't mean Nacua's fantasy value is going to fall off a cliff. Reports out of the Rams' HQ indicate Kupp is going to push to play in Week 5 against the Eagles. Even if he's on a snap count, if you have Kupp on your fantasy team you should play him as a flex play with upside in Week 5. Stay tuned for Friday's practice report. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. NYJ: Aaron Rodgers eyeing return [Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini]( New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) said he's attacking his rehab with an eye on returning late in the season. Rodgers said he's ahead of protocols thus far, and while normal protocols call for being in a boot for six weeks - he was in a shoe in 13 days. Rodgers also revealed he's dealing with a deltoid issue, an ankle ligament, alongside the Achilles tear. Our view: The Jets are 1-3, so their hopes of making a run to the postseason are quite slim. It's noble that Rodgers wants to push to be out there, but his season may be lost after all. That means Jets fans will have to wait for his return in 2024. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. IND: Jonathan Taylor fully practices [Source: Colts.com]() Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (ankle) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 4. Our view: Taylor seems to be healthy and ready to go in Week 5 against the Titans. We'll see what he looks like in his first action this year. Taylor does not have a great relationship with the Colts' front office, but he might want to showcase his talent for other teams out there who could be interested in trading for him. The trade deadline is on Halloween at the end of the month. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. NYJ: Breece Hall's restrictions lifted [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( New York Jets RB Breece Hall will have no more workload restrictions, according to head coach Robert Saleh. Our view: That's good news for the Jets, Hall, and Fantasy GMs out there. Hall and the Jets travel to take on the hapless Broncos' defense in Week 5. We imagine Jets OC Nathaniel Hackett (fired by the Broncos last year) will have a thing or two drawn up for the Jets' offense. Hall may not top 100 yards as he did in Week 1, but he should outperform the 56 yards he had on the ground against the Chiefs in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. PIT: Kenny Pickett says he'll be ready [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]( Pittsburgh Steelers QB Kenny Pickett will 'be ready to go by Sunday,' he said on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Our view: The Steelers are at home against the Ravens on Sunday, and Pickett is going to push to play. He's dealing with a bone bruise on his knee and was seen on Wednesday in a bulky knee brace. With a bye in Week 6, the Steelers won't push Pickett out there if he's not quite ready. Let's see what he can do towards the end of the week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. CLE: Deshaun Watson's shoulder a non-issue [Source: ESPN - Jake Trotter]() Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) isn't expected to be bothered by the shoulder issue that kept him out of Week 4 in the short term, according to general manager Andrew Berry. Our view: Browns' HC Kevin Stefanski said the call was Watson's last week as he knew his body better than anybody. Watson didn't feel like he could play, so the Browns started rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson. He seems to be playing better, and if healthy we could see Watson creep into that low-end QB1 range from a fantasy perspective. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. DAL: Day off for CeeDee Lamb [Source: ESPN.com - Todd Archer](=) Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb (non-injury, knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 4. Our view: Lamb is just getting some rest on a Wednesday. Fantasy GMs will rely on him as a WR1 as per usual this Sunday night against the 49ers. WAS: Jahan Dotson good to go [Source: Washington Commanders PR](=) Washington Commanders WR Jahan Dotson (ankle) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, Oct. 4, and carries no designation for Week 5. Our view: The Commanders are at home on Thursday night to take on the putrid Bears defense. They should be able to move the ball in the air and on the ground. Dotson caught 4-of-9 targets for 27 yards and one touchdown in the Commanders' Week 4 loss to the Eagles. He's got flex appeal due to his skill set and this matchup in Week 5. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. CIN: Tee Higgins not practicing [Source: The Cincinnati Enquirer - Kelsey Conway](=) Cincinnati Bengals WR Tee Higgins (rib) is not participating in practice Wednesday, Oct. 4, and is considered day-to-day. Our view: Rib injuries come down to pain tolerance. Higgins played just 27 snaps against the Titans in Week 4, catching only two passes for 19 yards. Fantasy GMs should be down on the Bengals' passing attack with a banged-up QB Joe Burrow. Higgins is not practicing on Wednesday, and that's not a great sign for his availability. With a Week 7 bye, one has to wonder if the Bengals would shut Higgins down for a couple of weeks. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. JAX: Zay Jones a limited participant [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 4. Our view: Jones has missed two games, but he might be back this week. The Jaguars have another London game, this time against the Bills. They'll need all the firepower they can to go up against Josh Allen and company. Let's see what Jones can do later in the week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. NYG: Saquon Barkley limited Wednesday [Source: SI.com - Patricia Traina]( New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) was limited in practice on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Our view: Barkley hasn't played since Week 2 against the Cardinals. The Giants' offense could use him in a bad way, but the team has been easing him back into action (Barkley put in three limited practices last week). A limited practice on Wednesday is a good sign he might be available in Week 5. The Giants travel to play the Dolphins on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. BAL: Keaton Mitchell cleared to practice [Source: BaltimoreRavens.com - Clifton Brown](=) Baltimore Ravens RB Keaton Mitchell (shoulder) was designated to return from injured reserve on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Our view: Fantasy GMs in deep leagues, and certainly in dynasty formats, are stashing Mitchell hoping he can get on the field soon for the Ravens. Their running back room needs help, and the undrafted free agent out of East Carolina could do that. Mitchell is a compact runner with plenty of explosiveness to his game. Having Gus Edwards soften up defenders and then having Mitchell burst by them as a runner and receiver out of the backfield makes sense. We'll see if Mitchell can get back out there in the next couple of weeks. Then, we'll see if he can be productive with his opportunity. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. BAL: Rashod Bateman takes part in practice [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]( Baltimore Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (hamstring) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 4. Our view: Bateman missed Week 4 with this hamstring problem. A full participation on Wednesday shows he is most likely going to be ready for Week 5. This season, Bateman isn't doing much with only seven catches for 59 yards inCthree games so far. Only Fantasy GMs in deeper leagues need to be concerned with his status.
