LAC: Austin Ekeler limited again [Source: Chargers.com]() Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (ankle) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday, Sept. 28. Our view: Friday should be a telling day for Ekeler here. It seems like there's some optimism but we'll see. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. MIA: Jaylen Waddle no longer in protocol [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport]() Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (concussion) cleared the league's concussion protocol on Thursday, Sept. 28. Our view: Waddle missed last week's game against the Broncos, and the team scored 70 points. With him out there against the Bills, the Dolphins can put up points - not 70 - but this should be an offensive showdown all Fantasy GMs should be in on with the likes of Waddle. We like Waddle as a WR2/flex play in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) = = [] 3. JAX: Zay Jones remains sidelined [Source: Jaguars.com](=) Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not practice for the second straight day on Thursday, Sept. 28. Our view: Not what we wanted to see for Jones but let's see if he's able to work Friday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. NYG: Saquon Barkley to practice Thursday [Source: The Record - Art Stapleton]( New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) will practice during individual drills Thursday, Sept. 28. Our view: The big day for Barkley is Saturday as the Giants play on Monday night at home against the Seahawks. Matt Breida will get more work if Barkley has to miss more time with this ankle problem. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. IND: Anthony Richardson practices again Thursday [Source: Indianapolis Star - Nate Atkins](=) Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) fully participated in practice on Thursday, Sept. 28. Our view: That's back-to-back days of full participation for Richardson. He missed last week's game, but the rookie quarterback is trending in the right direction for Week 4. When he's out there, Richardson provides at least top-10 fantasy value at the position because of his rushing ability. Plug him in as a QB1 this week against the Rams on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. MIA: Miami RBs getting out in space [Source: ProFootballReference.com]() Miami Dolphins RBs De'Von Achane (8.5) and Raheem Mostert (4.7) rank first and third, respectively, among all qualified players in yards per carry before contact. Our view: Space and speed (sounds like a metal band) is the name of the game for Mike McDaniel. He does a great job of using motion to put his fast players in the best position possible. With defenses worried about WR Tyreek Hill, it opens up the defense for the backs to take advantage. They won't score 70 every week like they did last week against the Broncos, but the Dolphins should regularly be one of the highest-scoring offenses in the NFL. [Back to Top](#top) The best things sent in the Footballguys Group Chat today: - 🤝 It’s that time of year again. [It’s Josh Palmer season.]() - 🤦‍♂️ This just isn’t fair. [The Kelce brothers have some thoughts.]( [] 7. CIN: Joe Burrow full practice - ditching calf sleeve [Source: ESPN.com - Ben Baby]() Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) practiced in full and was spotted warming up without a compression sleeve on his injured calf on Thursday, Sept. 28. Our view: Burrow keeps playing with this injury, and he doesn't look quite the same. However, he's still out there and slinging the ball around. This injury puts him more in the QB2 range than his normal top-5 QB1 range we're used to. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. ARI: Rondale Moore displaying versatility [Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban](=) Arizona Cardinals WR Rondale Moore has lined up as a slot receiver 72 times, as a receiver out wide 31 times and as a running back 13 times through three games, and it appears he will continue on a similar path as long as he stays healthy, according to comments from offensive coordinator Drew Petzing.'He brings a lot to the offense. He presents a lot of challenges to the defense. I think you've seen that in every game that we have played. We have moved him around the formation and used him in different roles. ... You look at stuff he's done in his past and look at what he can do with the ball in his hands and how dynamic he can be. You say, how many different ways can we get him in that position?' Petzing recently told the team's website. Our view: It just makes sense to use Moore in a number of different ways. He's one of the most explosive players in the league when healthy, and Moore can make defenders look silly in space. Against the 49ers on Sunday, Moore is a 'what the heck' flex for Fantasy GMs out there. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. LVR: Jimmy Garoppolo expected to suit up? [Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler]() Las Vegas Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo (concussion) 'is doing well' in his recovery from a concussion, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, and Fowler said the Raiders are optimistic that Garoppolo will be able to play in Week 4. Our view: We'll see what Garoppolo can do on Friday's practice. The team is on the road to face their divisional opponent the Los Angeles Chargers. Having Garoppolo out there would help the offense because their primary backup is Brian Hoyer. We love rookie QB Aidan O'Connell in dynasty formats and wouldn't mind seeing the kid play if Garoppolo is out in Week 4. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. CAR: Bryce Young expects to play in Week 4 [Source: ESPN.com - David Newton]( Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) told reporters he felt 'great' following practice on Thursday, Sept. 28, and is trending toward a return to the field in Week 4, according to head coach Frank Reich. Our view: Young is likely to play in Week 4 after missing last week's game. Whereas veteran QB Andy Dalton was able to get more from guys like WR Adam Thielen and WR DJ Chark, we've yet to see that with Young. Downgrade the skill position guys in the passing game until we see the rookie get more comfortable with distributing the ball through the air. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
