They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 1. JAX: Zay Jones to miss Week 3 [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]() Jacksonville Jaguars WR Zay Jones (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 3. Our view: The Jaguars will likely turn to Tim Jones and Jamal Agnew without Jones. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. CIN: Joe Burrow a limited participant [Source: Bengals.com](=) Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 22. Our view: More of the same for Burrow. There's buzz that some on the team like Ja'Marr Chase are thinking Burrow might not play this week. If Burrow is your guy, make sure you have pivot options for him on Monday night. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. LAC: Austin Ekeler to miss another game [Source: Chargers.com](=) Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 3. Our view: The hits keep rolling for Ekeler as he's out at Minnesota this week. Joshua Kelley was a dud last week vs. the rough Titans run defense, but he should be a much better play this week against the Vikings defense that D'Andre Swift got 100 yards on *before* contact last Thursday night. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. MIA: Jaylen Waddle update [Source: Sun-Sentinel - Chris Perkins](=) Miami Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle (concussion) is practicing Friday, Sept. 22, but remains in the protocol. Our view: Waddle is truly questionable for Sunday's game vs. Denver, but at least it's a home game, so the team can let this go right up to game time. He should be in lineups if active, but if he's not, Braxton Berrios becomes a sleeper and Durham Smythe takes on some appeal as a waiver wire to your lineup tight end. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. BAL: Odell Beckham ruled out [Source: BaltimoreRavens.com]() Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 3. Our view: Nelson Agholor posted a 5-63-1 line on only 25 snaps last week. He should get a lot more this week with Beckham out for the game vs. the Colts. Agholor is a solid WR3/Flex this week who might still be on your waiver wire. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. CAR: Bryce Young officially ruled out [Source: Panthers.com]() Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 3. Our view: Andy Dalton gets the start Sunday. Ian Rapoport reported that coach Frank Reich says the Bryce Young ankle injury is a 1-2 week injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. IND: Anthony Richardson sitting Friday [Source: ESPN.com - Stephen Holder]() Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (concussion) is not practicing Friday, Sept. 22, and is unlikely to play against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. Our view: Gardner Minshew will get the start. He has some value in 2QB/Superflex after he looked very comfortable running Shane Steichen's offense in relief of Richardson last week. Minshew starting also helps the case to start deep sleepers like Josh Downs and Kylen Granson in deep leagues. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. GB: Aaron Jones listed as questionable vs. NO [Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky]( Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) was limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Sept. 22, and is listed as questionable for Week 3 versus the New Orleans Saints. Our view: Jones is on the probable side of questionable, but the Packers are notoriously conservative about players return to play timelines, so we can't be sure he should be in our lineups until Sunday morning. If he can't go, AJ Dillon is only a what the heck flex against a strong Saints defense. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. BAL: Justice Hill absent Friday [Source: WNST.net - Luke Jones]() Baltimore Ravens RB Justice Hill (foot) did not practice Friday, Sept. 22. Our view: Gus Edwards is set to lead the Ravens backfield against the so far stout Colts run defense. Melvin Gordon will be the backup, but Edwards should get enough touches and scoring opportunities to at least be a flex play this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. GB: No setback for Christian Watson [Source: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman](=) Updating an earlier report, Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) did not suffer a setback, and his absence from practice on Thursday, Sept. 21, was planned, according to head coach Matt LaFleur. Our view: Watson was present at practice today and will be listed as questionable for Week 3. As long as he's active vs. New Orleans, we should consider him a boom/bust WR3/Flex, but it's a tough matchup and wide receivers carry a little extra risk in their first game back from a hamstring injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. CHI: Week 3 injury report for Chicago [Source: ChicagoBears.com]( Chicago Bears DL Khalid Kareem (hip) did not practice Friday, Sept. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. S Eddie Jackson (foot) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. OL Nate Davis (personal) was upgraded to limited practice on Friday and is listed as questionable. DB Josh Blackwell (hamstring), WR Darnell Mooney (knee) and OL Lucas Patrick (illness) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. Our view: The Bears were already in for a long afternoon against Patrick Mahomes. Now they'll be missing Eddie Jackson, their best defensive back and quarterback of the secondary. Expect a fireworks display from the Chiefs pass offense this weekend. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. WAS: Washington's Week 3 injury report [Source: The Athletic - Ben Standig]( Washington Commanders TE Logan Thomas (concussion) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 3 versus the Buffalo Bills. S Kamren Curl (illness) and WR Curtis Samuel (hip, illness) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 22, and are listed as questionable. C Nick Gates (knee), DB Jartavius Martin (concussion), DT Daron Payne (ankle) and RB Brian Robinson Jr. (hip) practiced in full on Friday and no longer appear on the injury report. Our view: Cole Turner and John Bates will get more targets in Thomas's absence. Both pitched into the comeback win at Denver last week and should be part of the game plan to upset the Bills on Sunday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. NO: New Orleans' injury report for Week 3 [Source: NewOrleansSaints.com](=) New Orleans Saints RB Jamaal Williams (hamstring) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 3 versus the Green Bay Packers. TE Foster Moreau (ankle) did not practice on Friday, Sept. 22, and is listed as doubtful. CB Paulson Adebo (hamstring) also did not practice on Friday but is listed as questionable. S Ugo Amadi (knee) was limited in practice for a second consecutive day on Friday and is also listed as questionable. QB Taysom Hill (knee), RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) and S Jordan Howden (finger) practiced in full on Friday and have been removed from the injury report. Our view: The rookie Miller will get his first action of the year in this one and share the backfield with Tony Jones, who got called up from the practice squad last week and scored twice. Taysom Hill got some looks at running back and was strong on his touches, so don't be surprised if he also figures more into the running game as the Saints await the return of Alvin Kamara in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. TEN: No practice again for DeAndre Hopkins [Source: TennesseeTitans.com - Jim Wyatt](=) Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) did not practice again on Friday, Sept. 22. Our view: Hopkins doesn't seem to be any healthier than he was last week, when he was a game time decision and ended up playing a posting a 4-40 stat line. Cleveland's defense has been good through two games, so Hopkins is a low ceiling WR3/Flex at best, but probably best off on your bench. If he can't go on Sunday, Treylon Burks and Chigoziem Okonkwo could benefit via extra targets. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. HOU: Houston plans to manage C.J. Stroud's practice throws [Source: HoustonTexans.com - Deepi Sidhu]( Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud (shoulder) is expected to be on a week-to-week 'arm management program' for the rest of the season, according to offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik.'I think it's always like any time you have a starting quarterback that's going to play all year, you always have an arm management program and it's kind of what best fits the individual, you know? It may be some days he's limited on throws, it may be some days he's not limited on throws, but he's limited on other stuff that's not team-period related. And that is kind of a week-to-week thing and it's an individual thing as we go through the year. So he's always going to be on an arm maintenance program every quarterback is it's just what we're doing that specific week,' Slowik told the team's website. Our view: Stroud has been throwing a lot because his team has been down big for most of the season, but it sounds like we should temper our enthusiasm about him being a garbage time fantasy king fueling the value of Nico Collins and Tank Dell. If the defense (which just lost its best corner for 6-8 weeks) doesn't improve, the Texans might not have a choice but to let Stroud air it out and hope his arm holds up.
