It's the weekend. With mostly non-interesting college games during the day, it might be time for Apple Picking Saturday. Then dive in to the NFL and Week 2 on Sunday. We've got you covered from GPP to Cash Lineups, Value Plays, Stacks, and so much more! [Watch On YouTube 👉]( [] 1. KC: Travis Kelce cleared for Week 2 [Source: NFL Network - Cameron Wolfe](=) Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee) will play in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to comments from head coach Andy Reid on Friday, Sept. 15. Our view: No worries about Kelce here as the extra time off following a Thursday night game has given him the ability to be ready for a showdown with the Jaguars. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. NYJ: Greg Zuerlein injured groin [Source: ESPN.com - Rich Cimini]() New York Jets PK Greg Zuerlein (groin) injured his groin and will not practice Friday, Sept. 15, and may be in danger of missing the Week 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Our view: Get Zuerlein out of lineups this week, even if he is active. The Jets are set up to be a field goal friendly team with a strong defense and limited quarterback play, but you'll have to look elsewhere for your kicker this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. NYJ: Breece Hall still on pitch count [Source: NFL.com]() New York Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) will still have a pitch count in Week 2, according to a source Friday, Sept. 15. Our view: He should still be in lineups, as Hall posted one of the best running back games of Week 1 without the benefit of a score of full workload. If the Jets have a chance to beat the Cowboys in Arlington, Hall will be a big reason why. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. DAL: Brandin Cooks will be GTD [Source: ESPN.com - Todd Archer]() Dallas Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks (knee) is expected to be a game-time decision in Week 2, per sources Friday, Sept. 15. Our view: If Cooks can't go, Michael Gallup becomes WR3/Flex material with CeeDee Lamb drawing more attention from the secondary and possibly seeing a lot of shutdown corner Sauce Gardner. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. BAL: Week 2 injury report for Baltimore [Source: BaltimoreRavens.com]( Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey (foot), C Tyler Linderbaum (ankle), OT Ronnie Stanley (knee) and S Marcus Williams (pectoral) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 2 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. TE Mark Andrews (quad) was upgraded to full practice on Friday, Sept. 15, but is listed as questionable. OG John Simpson (personal) did not practice on Friday but is expected to be available. Our view: The offensive line will be down two starters, including the best offensive lineman Stanley vs. the Bengals. Don't be surprised if the Ravens offense is choppy again this week, dampening some of the excitement about the Todd Monken offense unveiling. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. GB: Aaron Jones questionable for Week 2 [Source: Packers.com]() Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 2. Our view: Not great. Let's see if we hear more on Saturday but we don't like the looks of this for Jones. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. NYG: Week 2 injury report for NY Giants [Source: Giants.com]( New York Giants DE Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) and WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) were limited in practice all week but are listed as doubtful for Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals. OT Andrew Thomas (hamstring) and TE Darren Waller (hamstring, rest) were limited in practice for a second straight day on Friday, Sept. 15, but no longer appear on the injury report. CB Deonte Banks (calf), LB Cam Brown (ankle), CB Cor'Dale Flott (hamstring), PK Graham Gano (ankle), S Gervarrius Owens (hamstring), OT Matt Peart (elbow) and WR Sterling Shepard (rest) practiced in full on Friday and have also been removed from the injury report. Our view: Waller not carrying an injury designation should give you confidence to plug him in even though there has been talk about his hamstring issue lingering into the regular season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. LAC: Austin Ekeler misses another practice [Source: Daniel Popper - The Athletic]( Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports that RB Austin Ekeler (ankle) missed another practice on Friday. He has not practiced this week. Our view: Joshua Kelley looks like a must start even if Ekeler plays, because it's unlikely that the team will put a lot on Ekeler's shoulders this early in the season if he's not 100%. The Titans run defense was tough against the Saints, but the Chargers running game was clicking for over 200 yards against the Dolphins last week. Isaiah Spiller would be active if Ekeler is out after being a healthy scratch last week and UDFA Elijah Dotson should also figure into an Ekeler-less backfield. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. NYG: Wan'Dale Robinson not expected to play [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]() New York Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 15, but is listed as doubtful for Week 2. Our view: More of the same for Robinson. The Giants are hoping for a rebound after the drubbing from Dallas but it looks like they'll give it a try without Robinson. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. TEN: Third straight DNP for DeAndre Hopkins [Source: TennesseeTitans.com - Jim Wyatt](=) Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) was unable to practice for a third consecutive day on Friday, Sept. 15. Our view: At this point, we should consider Hopkins on the doubtful side of questionable. Veterans like him can play without practicing, but this early in the season, it might be a bad idea to ask him to push it and risk a re-injury and longer absence. Treylon Burks and Chigoziem Okonkwo would likely get more targets if Hopkins is out vs. the Chargers, and rookie running back Tyjae Spears could see his role grow. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. BAL: Mark Andrews logs full practice on Friday [Source: BaltimoreRavens.com](=) Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews (quad) was upgraded to full practice on Friday, Sept. 15. Our view: There are no worries about putting Andrews back in your lineup this week after he wasn't ready to go for Week 1. Hopefully his return can help this offense get on track despite missing two starting offensive linemen against the Bengals. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. MIA: De'Von Achane status uncertain for Week 2 [Source: Palm Beach Post - Joe Schad]( Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane's status to be active in Week 2 is still up in the air, per sources Friday, Sept. 15. Our view: Achane was expected to add some speed and receiving ability to the Dolphins backfield, but he was a healthy scratch in Week 1 even though the team let Myles Gaskin go at final cutdowns. He's a tough hold in typical leagues if he's not active again this week, but Raheem Mostert's injury history tells us that Achane should get an opportunity to play sooner or later. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. JAX: Christian Kirk likely to rebound in Week 2 [Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Michael David Smith]() Jacksonville Jaguars WR Christian Kirk managed only one catch - on three targets - for nine yards in Week 1 versus the Indianapolis Colts, but head coach Doug Pederson expects him to bounce back in a big way in Week 2 due partly to how often the Kansas City Chiefs utilize man coverage.'Christian thrives against man defense. He'll get his chances,' Pederson told 1010XL's Mia O'Brien. Our view: The Jaguars are basically telling us to leave Kirk in lineups as a WR3/Flex this week. If he doesn't get it done in what should be a high-scoring game against the Chiefs, it will be time to bench the slot receiver until he puts up numbers on our bench. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. DET: OC talks about expectations for Jahmyr Gibbs [Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Myles Simmons]( Detroit Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs is expected to play more than the 19 of 70 offensive snaps he played in Week 1 moving forward, according to offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, who attributed the relative lack of playing time to making sure the rookie was ready for the big stage.'You don't know exactly what you're going to get Week 1 with some of the young players, particularly in that environment. And so, yeah, we will get Gibbs going as he gets more comfortable. We always have plays tagged for him going into the game, but we feel really strongly about David (Montgomery) as well, so that whole combination, that one-two punch is really good for us. We had them both on the field at the same time a little bit last week, we'll probably continue to do that over the course of the season and we'll see where Gibbs best suits us each week,' Johnson said during a presser on Thursday, Sept. 14. Our view: Gibbs was extremely impressive on his limited touches in Week 1, breaking tackles on most of them and looking like the most explosive player in the Lions offense. Get him in your lineup on the fast track at Ford Field. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks. Thanks for reading and thanks for being part of Footballguys.
