They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 1. KC: Travis Kelce limited Wednesday [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport](=) Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee) will be limited in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: All Fantasy GMs are watching this situation closely. Without Kelce against the Lions, the Chiefs struggled to look like themselves. If Kelce is out there, things should be back to normal for QB Patrick Mahomes and company. Friday is the big day for Kelce's status with a big game against the Jaguars coming up on Sunday. In some encouraging video, you can see him [jumping in practice a bit]( Wednesday and looking pretty normal. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. LAC: Austin Ekeler not on field Wednesday [Source: NFLCommunications.com]( Los Angeles Chargers RB Austin Ekeler (ankle, personal) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Ekeler's long-time agent, Cameron Weiss died Sunday and Ekeler took a personal day Wednesday. Ekeler is also dealing with an ankle injury but the severity is unclear. Check to see what he's able to do Thursday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. PHI: Kenneth Gainwell not expected to play [Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo]() Philadelphia Eagles RB Kenneth Gainwell (ribs) is not expected to play in Week 2, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: It's a short week as the Eagles play the Vikings on Thursday night. Gainwell was a standout for the Eagles in Week 1, and plenty of Fantasy GMs made the move for him on the waiver wire this week. Now, the Eagles will turn to guys like D'Andre Swift, Boston Scott, and Rashaad Penny in Week 2. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. SEA: Seattle may be without two tackles [Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle]( Seattle Seahawks OT Charles Cross (toe) and OT Abraham Lucas (knee) appear unlikely to play in the Week 2 game at this point, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Our view: This is a major problem for Seattle and QB Geno Smith. Perhaps the team will lean more on their rushing attack to help their tackle situation and protect their quarterback better. Seattle is on the road in Week 2 to face the Lions and pass-rushing stud Aidan Hutchinson. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. CIN: Joe Burrow fully practices [Source: Bengals.com](=) Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Burrow and the Bengals struggled last week against the Browns. They need to turn things around this week at home against the Ravens. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. HOU: Tank Dell to see more snaps [Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson]() Houston Texans WR Tank Dell will see more snaps in Week 2, head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Dell played 37 snaps on offense in Week 1 with three more on special teams. He was targeted four times, catching three passes for 34 yards with each one of those catches going for a first down. We'll continue to see Nico Collins and Robert Woods get plenty of targets in the Texans' offense, but more snaps for Dell could lead to a larger opportunity. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. IND: Zack Moss a full participant [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]() Indianapolis Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Good news for the Colts here. It looks like Moss will play in Week 2, and that likely means he'll be the team's lead back. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. NYJ: Breece Hall listed as limited [Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Adam Caplan]() New York Jets RB Breece Hall (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. The Jets did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation. Our view: Hall was big for Fantasy GMs (and Jets fans) on Monday night against the Bills. We'll see what his practice status is like on Friday, and then when it comes to gameplan we're curious to see how Hall continues to mix into the rotation with Dalvin Cook. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. MIA: Raheem Mostert misses practice [Source: MiamiDolphins.com](=) Miami Dolphins RB Raheem Mostert (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Mostert seems to always be battling a little something here and there throughout his pro career. This could be just a veteran day of rest. Let's see what he can do on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) The best things sent in the Footballguys Group Chat today: - 🐢 Kirk Cousins has a new sensei. [It’s not who you’d expect.]( - 🥶 Look good, play good. [There’s a guy like this in every sports bar.](=) [] 10. WAS: Terry McLaurin fully practices [Source: Commanders.com]() Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin (toe) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Toe injuries come down to pain tolerance. A full practice means McLaurin is dealing with the pain as best he can. He's likely to draw All-Pro CB Pat Surtain this week against the Broncos. A banged-up McLaurin against a guy like that drops his fantasy outlook. We like McLaurin as a deep flex play in PPR formats. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. BAL: Mark Andrews listed as limited [Source: BaltimoreRavens.com]() Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews (quadriceps) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: We'd like to see Andrews get a full practice in on Friday. Andrews could help QB Lamar Jackson look better than he did as a passer in Week 1. [Back to Top](#top) [] 12. TEN: DeAndre Hopkins misses practice [Source: NFLCommunications.com]( Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: It's a Wednesday, so we're not yet too concerned. Let's all circle back on Friday to see if Hopkins gets in a full practice. [Back to Top](#top) [] 13. DAL: Brandin Cooks sits out Wednesday [Source: Fort Worth Star-Telegram - Clarence E. Hill Jr.](=) Dallas Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. The Cowboys did not hold a practice Wednesday, so this is an estimation. Our view: Cooks didn't do much in Week 1 against the Giants (2 catches, 22 yards) - in a blowout win. Fantasy GMs may have taken a chance on Cooks as a 'lottery ticket' pick, but don't get overly excited about his potential just yet - especially with Cooks battling a knee problem. [Back to Top](#top) [] 14. LVR: Jimmy Garoppolo listed as limited [Source: Raiders.com]( Las Vegas Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Garoppolo got things done against the Broncos in Week 1. This ankle injury is something to monitor, but only in deep start-2 QB leagues. [Back to Top](#top) [] 15. MIA: De'Von Achane takes part in practice [Source: MiamiDolphins.com](=) Miami Dolphins RB De'Von Achane (shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Achane did not get onto the field in Week 1, something Dolphins' HC Mike McDaniel talked about on Wednesday. The rookie was inactive against the Chargers because the team wanted to go light at running back. Achane is a speed demon who can make plays in space, so we'll see if he can work his way into the mix in Week 2. [Back to Top](#top) [] 16. TB: Baker Mayfield takes part in practice [Source: FOX Sports - Greg Auman]() Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Mayfield should be out there against the Bears in Week 2. Only Fantasy GMs in start-2 QB leagues should be monitoring his practice status. Mayfield is a mid-range QB2 even in what could be seen as a juicy matchup. [Back to Top](#top) [] 17. NYG: Wan'Dale Robinson a limited participant [Source: Giants.com]() New York Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 13. Our view: Robinson is a playmaker when healthy. We're excited to see him get on the field this year for the Giants, but the team isn't going to rush him back. Thus, the limited status and his playing status is up in the air for Week 2. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
