They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 1. KC: Travis Kelce improving [Source: NFL.com]() Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee) is making progress in his recovery from a knee injury, but head coach Andy Reid did not say if Kelce will be available for Week 2. Our view: Stay tuned to this one during the week. Dr. David Chao on the Footballguys Fantasy Football Podcast Sunday night said it wasn't a sure thing he'd be ready this week given how much fluid reportedly was drained from his knee. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. GB: Aaron Jones bothered by hamstring [Source: The Associated Press](=) Green Bay Packers RB Aaron Jones (hamstring) tweaked his hamstring during the team's Week 1 win over the Chicago Bears and was held out of the game following his 35-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. Our view: We'll see what Jones can do during the week of practice. The team is being cautious with him, so that means Jones may be limited when the first practice report hits on Wednesday. He said he could have returned to the game if the score had been closer and he was smiling on the sidelines as he was stretching. AJ Dillon would be asked to do more if Jones has to miss time or is not quite himself. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. KC: KC, Chris Jones reach agreement [Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport](=) Kansas City Chiefs DT Chris Jones agreed to terms on a new one-year contract with the Chiefs Monday, Sept. 11. Financial terms were not disclosed. Our view: It would have been nice to have done this last week but better now than later. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. IND: No concerns for Anthony Richardson [Source: Horseshoe Huddle - Jake Arthur]() Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson (knee, ankle) left the Week 1 game early due to knee and ankle soreness but could have returned if needed, per sources Monday, Sept. 11. He was held out for the final three plays of the game out of precaution. Our view: Richardson flashed ability as a runner and as a passer in his pro debut. Because of his rushing ability, Richardson has QB1 upside for Fantasy GMs. Against the Jaguars in Week 1, he went 24 of 37 passes for 223 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Richardson rushed ten times for 40 yards and a touchdown. The rookie managed the game well, and he should be asked to do more as he continues to gain valuable experience. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. LAR: Puka Nacua dazzles in his NFL debut [Source: ESPN.com](=) Los Angeles Rams WR Puka Nacua caught 10 of his 15 targets for 119 yards in Week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. Our view: One of the most consistent drumbeats in all of football this offseason was the emergence of rookie WR Puka Nacua. He can use speed, guile, and body control to move the chains and make plays for QB Matthew Stafford. If he's out there in your fantasy league, put a claim in on the waiver wire. [Back to Top](#top) [] 6. IND: Evan Hull to miss time [Source: Indianapolis Star - Nate Atkins]( Indianapolis Colts RB Evan Hull (knee) is expected to miss time due to a knee injury, according to sources Monday, Sept. 11. Our view: The Colts are already thin at running back with Jonathan Taylor on the PUP list and Zack Moss trying to come back from a broken arm. Jake Funk looked good in Week 1, and he could be taking on a larger role going forward. Moss should push to play this week, but we'll know more about his status on Wednesday. BAL: J.K. Dobbins surgery date [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero](=) Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) will undergo surgery to repair a torn Achilles on Friday, Sept. 15. Our view: Dobbins is facing at least six months of recovery time. This means his season is likely done, and Dobbins is set to hit free agency in 2024. Fantasy GMs will turn to guys like Justice Hill or Gus Edwards on the waiver wire now that Dobbins is out. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. LVR: Jakobi Meyers in protocol [Source: The Athletic - Vic Tafur]( Las Vegas Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion) is in the concussion protocol, per sources Monday, Sept. 11. Our view: Meyers was knocked out of the game on a big hit from Broncos' S Kareem Jackson. He will have to work his way through the protocol before he's allowed to play. Before his fourth-quarter injury, Meyers caught nine passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns. [Back to Top](#top) [] 9. ATL: Cordarrelle Patterson update [Source: NFL.com]() Atlanta Falcons RB Cordarrelle Patterson (thigh) is trending in the right direction to play in Week 2, per sources Monday, Sept. 11. Our view: Good news for the Falcons here. Patterson can work as a weapon for the offense, both as a runner and receiver. Let's see what his practice status is on Wednesday, and then double-check on him on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. LAC: Mike Williams dinged up in loss [Source: The Associated Press](=) Correcting a previous report, Los Angeles Chargers WR Mike Williams (head) suffered a head injury during the first half of the game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, Sept. 10, but was able to return in the second half. He finished the game with four receptions for 45 yards. He was targeted five times. Our view: Williams is talented when healthy, but he does get injured a bit more often than you'd like. He was able to return to the game against the Dolphins, so Williams should be good to go for practice this week. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. PIT: Cameron Heyward to undergo surgery [Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Gerry Dulac]( Pittsburgh Steelers DE Cameron Heyward (groin) is scheduled to undergo surgery Wednesday, Sept. 13, and is expected to miss as much as eight weeks, according to sources. Our view: Tough news after a rough game Sunday. The Steelers, like any team, have a next-man-up mentality. But Heyward's are big shoes to fill. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
