Made. It. Not going to lie, there were a few days there in March and May where I wasn't sure, but we made it. Thank you for spending a ton of time this spring and summer reading and hanging out with us. It's an honor and one we value tremendously. I know you have lots of options. So thank you. We've got real live NFL football tonight and the world seems a bit more right. I'm drafting in the NFFC Primetime tournament this Saturday and I'd love to co-own a team with you and let you keep all the winnings. Details below. Our Cecil Lammey has the News and Notes you need so let's go. J Drafting on Thursday night? Time Is Running out! [[Count down to 2023-09-07T22:00:00.000Z]]( What's New At Footballguys - [Co-Own An NFFC Primetime Team With Me]() - You know how much I love the contests run by my friends at [the NFFC](. They're the best in the business on everything from my favorite [$350 Entry Fee contest by far](=) to their High Stakes [Primetime contests](=). I'm live drafting this Saturday in the [NFFC Primetime event](=) in Las Vegas. The Grand Prize is $250,000. Entry value is $1,750. And I'd love your help. We'll pick one of our annual plan [Premium Subscribers](=) at random to Co-Own the team with me. We'll do a thirty-minute Zoom call this Friday, (September 8) to talk strategy and then I'll draft our team on Saturday. We'll collaborate on waiver wire moves and our starting lineup each week. And if we win any money, they get all of it. To sign up for the drawing, just [fill out the form HERE](. We'll announce the winner this Friday morning, 9/8. So if you're an annual [Premium Subscriber](=) throw your name in the hat and let's do this. - [The $350 Online Contest I Love - Plus A Discount](=) - You know me. I love Home Leagues. But I'm often asked where folks should play if they want to add an additional league. With a bit more of an entry fee and opportunity for a big prize. I've been doing this for 23 years at Footballguys and without question, the contest I recommend is the [NFFC-Rotowire $350 Online Championship](=). It's got the perfect balance of the right size prize pool with a $250,000 Grand Prize plus it's a reasonable number of teams so it doesn't feel like a lottery. It's run by my longtime friends Greg Ambrosius and Tom Kessenich at [the NFFC](, and they are the best in the industry. Greg offered to do this just for Footballguys Subscribers today: You can enter promo code: FBG25 for $25 off per individual team. I can't guarantee you'll win obviously. But I think it's by far the best $350 contest on the market right now. And it's the one I personally recommend. And to be clear: I don't make any affiliate money off this contest or benefit financially in any way from it. The $25 discount is all for you. I simply believe in it that much and I'm often asked by folks where they should play if they want something in addition to their home league. This is it. LAR: Cooper Kupp to miss Week 1 [Source: The Athletic - Jourdan Rodrigue]() Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (hamstring) will not be available for the Week 1 game, according to head coach Sean McVay. Our view: Get ready for lots of Van Jefferson in Week 1. Rookie Puka Nacua is also a player who will get more work at the wide receiver position with Kupp out of action. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. KC: Questionable tag for Travis Kelce [Source: Chiefs.com](=) Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 6, and is listed as questionable for Week 1. Our view: Every Fantasy GM wants to know what's going on with Kelce. His ACL is intact, but a hyperextended knee injury on Tuesday could keep him out of action for Thursday Night Football and the season opener against the Lions. Noah Gray would be a streaming option for Fantasy GMs if Kelce can't play. This could go up right to kickoff, so stay tuned. If there's an upside for Kelce GMs, you'll know his status about 90 minutes before kickoff. If he's out then obviously, you go to plan B. It gets more interesting if he's listed as Active. I personally think he's a top 5 TE this week if he's active barring something extraordinary. He's such a trusted weapon in this offense, even a limited Kelce is probably better than the next option on your roster unless you drafted an elite TE to go with him. Plus, I could never forgive myself if I benched my top draft pick and then he has 2 catches for 2 TDs. So there's that. Stay tuned tomorrow and let's hope for good news. But be prepared if he's out. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. CIN: Joe Burrow a full participant [Source: Bengals.com](=) Updating a previous report, Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 6. Our view: Great news for the Bengals here. Burrow missed all of the preseason dealing with this calf injury with the plan to have him ready for Week 1. Protecting him against the Browns' pass rush is priority no.1 for the Bengals to open the season. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. IND: Zack Moss listed as limited [Source: Colts.com](=) Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 6. Our view: Good news for the Colts here. It seems like Moss could play on Sunday against the Jaguars if he makes it through practice this week. Moss may be limited if he plays, and that means the Colts could ask Deon Jackson to do more. Rookie Evan Hull could be the team's pass-catching back. Overall, this is a fantasy situation to either avoid or let play out before plugging any of these guys into your lineup. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. GB: Romeo Doubs misses practice [Source: Packers.com]() Green Bay Packers WR Romeo Doubs (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 6. Our view: Hamstring injuries are known to linger, and Doubs not practicing on Wednesday to at least test it out is not a great sign. GB: Christian Watson not on field [Source: Packers.com]() Green Bay Packers WR Christian Watson (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 6. Our view: We'll see what Watson can do later in the week. Romeo Doubs also missed practice on Wednesday, so it's not a great start for the Packers WR corps. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. WAS: Jamison Crowder to Washington [Source: KPRC.com - Aaron Wilson](=) Free-agent WR Jamison Crowder (Giants) and S Keidron Smith (Dolphins) were signed to the Washington Commanders' practice squad Wednesday, Sept. 6. DE William Bradley-King and OL Nolan Laufenberg were released. Our view: Crowder began his career with Washington as a fourth-round pick out of Duke, and he spent four seasons there. He's back to provide veteran depth, especially if WR Terry McLaurin (toe) needs to miss time. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. ARI: Joshua Dobbs on track to start [Source: NFL.com](=) Arizona Cardinals QB Joshua Dobbs is expected to be the starting quarterback for the Cardinals in Week 1, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Our view: The Cardinals were trying to keep things under wraps this week as they prepare to face the Commanders on Sunday. Rookie Clayton Tune has impressed the coaching staff, but they're going with the veteran Dobbs in what can only been seen as a massive rebuilding year for Arizona. WAS: Terry McLaurin listed as limited [Source: Commanders.com](=) Washington Commanders WR Terry McLaurin (toe) was limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 6. Our view: McLaurin is likely to be limited all week. Friday will be a big day for him as he deals with this (likely painful) toe injury. [Back to Top](#top) [] 10. CLE: Marquise Goodwin on track to play [Source: NFL.com](=) Cleveland Browns WR Marquise Goodwin (blood clots) is on track to play in Week 1, head coach Kevin Stefanski said on Wednesday, Sept. 6. Our view: Goodwin should be out there against the Bengals on Sunday. He can play on special teams and stretch the field from time to time, but there's not a fantasy-relevant role here with the veteran receiver. [Back to Top](#top) [] 11. KC: Kadarius Toney not on injury report [Source: Chiefs.com](=) Kansas City Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 6, and is not on the injury report for Week 1. Our view: Great news for the Chiefs. Toney was the talk of the spring, and then he got hurt again. The window for him could be small, and it could come-and-go during the regular season. However, when Toney is out there Fantasy GMs should at least be considering him as a flex play in the league's most dangerous offense. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
