But I'm often asked where folks should play if they want to add an additional league. With a bit more of an entry fee and opportunity for a big prize. I've been doing this for 23 years at Footballguys and without question, the contest I recommend is the [NFFC-Rotowire $350 Online Championship](=). It's got the perfect balance of the right size prize pool with a $250,000 Grand Prize plus it's a reasonable number of teams so it doesn't feel like a lottery. It's run by my longtime friends Greg Ambrosius and Tom Kessenich at [the NFFC](, and they are the best in the industry. Greg offered to do this just for Footballguys Subscribers today: You can enter promo code: FBG25 for $25 off per individual team. I can't guarantee you'll win obviously. But I think it's by far the best $350 contest on the market right now. And it's the one I personally recommend. And to be clear: I don't make any affiliate money off this contest or benefit financially in any way from it. The $25 discount is all for you. I simply believe in it that much and I'm often asked by folks where they should play if they want something in addition to their home league. They have helped me dominate my league to the point that I'm called the Evil Empire by my league mates" - Rick Himes @bigisland31 [] 1. CIN: Joe Burrow still day-to-day [Source: NFL.com](=) Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow (calf) is still considered day-to-day at this time, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Our view: The Bengals shut Burrow down for the preseason, and now they're easing him back into action. With a game against their division rival the Browns in Week 1, we expect Burrow to be ready to go. Watch to see his status on Friday. [Back to Top](#top) [] 2. IND: Zack Moss progressing [Source: Indianapolis Star - Joel A. Erickson]( Indianapolis Colts RB Zack Moss (arm) is progressing well but is still without a timeline for return, according to head coach Shane Steichen on Monday, Sept. 4. Our view: That's good news for the Colts as they're also without Jonathan Taylor on PUP. With Moss likely out in Week 1, Deon Jackson should get the start for the Colts. When Jackson needs a breather, we'll see rookie Evan Hull get some snaps. [Back to Top](#top) [] 3. MIN: Kyle Rudolph retiring [Source: Jordan Schultz]( Free-agent TE Kyle Rudolph (Buccaneers) will sign a one-day contract to retire with the Minnesota Vikings for the Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Our view: Rudolph went to college at Notre Dame and came into the league as a second-round pick in the 2011 NFL draft. He spent several seasons with the Vikings (2011-2020) earning two Pro Bowl nods. In 2021, Rudolph was with the Giants and last year he spent the season with the Buccaneers. He finishes his career with 482 receptions, 4,773 yards, and 50 touchdowns. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. NYG: Daniel Jones restructures [Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates]() New York Giants QB Daniel Jones restructured his contract Monday, Sept. 4, to convert $8.42 million in base salary to a signing bonus, which created $6.315 million in salary cap space. Our view: Nobody knows what this extra cap space has been freed up for. The Giants may be making a move for a veteran player, or they could just have some space available in case something comes up later in the year. Back in March, the Giants signed Jones to a four-year, $160 million contract. This is the first of what could be a couple of more restructures along the way during the life of the contract. [Back to Top](#top) [] 5. BAL: Mark Andrews returning soon [Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec](=) Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews (undisclosed) is expected to practice Wednesday, Sept. 6. Our view: Andrews is a big part of what the Ravens do through the air. Fantasy GMs have him as one of the few set-it-and-forget-it tight ends as weekly starters. Circle back on Friday just to make sure Andrews is practicing, but we imagine he'll be good to go in Week 1 against the Texans. [Back to Top](#top) The best things sent in the Footballguys Group Chat today: - ⚾️ “Shock, disgust, happiness, sweat…” Nothing will stop this dad from cheering on the [Houston Asteroids.]( - 🏈 It has arrived. Shannon Sharpe is still [getting adjusted.]() - 👏 Props to Tee Higgins. Even the simplest things [can go a long way.](=) [] 6. ARI: Coach believes in Clayton Tune [Source: SI.com - Donnie Druin](=) Arizona Cardinals QB Clayton Tune is 'ready to go' if he is named the starter, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. Our view: Gannon won't name the team's Week 1 starter against the Commanders. Tune (a rookie fifth-round pick out of Houston) has progressed during camp and the preseason, but the Cardinals made a move for veteran QB Josh Dobbs last month. We'll see if they give Tune the nod or go with the experience of Dobbs. [Back to Top](#top) [] 7. DEN: Jaleel McLaughlin to play early? [Source: The Denver Post - Parker Gabriel]( Denver Broncos RB Jaleel McLaughlin is 'set to be counted on right from the start,' according to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post. Our view: McLaughlin is the explosive back on the roster. Starting RB Javonte Williams brings plenty of power to the field, and so does veteran reserve back Samaje Perine. During training camp and the preseason, we've seen the Broncos use McLaughlin as a big-play rushing and receiving threat. Williams is the lead back, and Perine will get work too. However, McLaughlin may get as many as 20 percent of the snaps in the Broncos' backfield. In most leagues, McLaughlin should be on waiver wire speed dial. In deeper leagues, feel free to stash him as a 'lottery ticket' pick on your bench. [Back to Top](#top) [] 8. MIA: Chosen Anderson back with Dolphins [Source: ESPN.com - Cameron Wolfe](=) Free-agent WR Chosen Anderson (Dolphins) re-signed with the Miami Dolphins' practice squad Monday, Sept. 4. Our view: The Dolphins moved on when building their 53-man roster with the idea they could bring Anderson back on the practice squad. He can still be a deep threat, but Anderson is a non-factor from a fantasy perspective. [Back to Top](#top) That'll do it for today, Folks.
