NE: Bailey Zappe back with Pats [Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero]() Free-agent QB Bailey Zappe (Patriots) re-signed with the New England Patriots' practice squad Wednesday, Aug. 30. Our view: Zappe was supposed to push Mac Jones for the starting job this summer. That didn't happen. Instead, Jones wins the job and Zappe was released and then put back on the practice squad. Our view: Well, that's a bit surprising given the fact that Green Bay has both Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon. Taylor was unable to get traded and is now on the PUP list for the Colts, meaning he'll miss the first four games of the regular season even if he's traded. [Back to Top](#top) [] 4. CIN: Will Grier signs with Bengals [Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter]() Free-agent QB Will Grier (Cowboys) signed with the Cincinnati Bengals' practice squad Wednesday, Aug. 30. Our view: Grier has some moxie as a player, so it's interesting to see his landing spot. We'll see if he can impress the Bengals and move onto the active roster as a reserve behind QB Joe Burrow. Our view: Mond has some skill as a runner, and that's why the Vikings made him a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft. He washed out with Minnesota after one season, but Mond is sticking with the Browns for now as a developmental quarterback. That's enough for us to monitor his progress in crazy deep dynasty formats. Our view: Gaskin has speed, and the Vikings didn't seem overly impressed with their options behind Alexander Mattison. He's a seasoned veteran and if guys ahead of him on the depth chart get banged up, Gordon could be activated to play. Our view: Isabella will always be an interesting prospect with his speed. On this Bills offense that could be explosive from time to time. Our view: This is disappointing news. Thornton had a good start to the offseason before the start of training camp where he struggled. Now, he's getting banged up with this shoulder injury. Our view: Colletto is an interesting player to watch from a football perspective.
