He will not be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Our view: This is good news for Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Josh Jacobs, and really the whole Raiders offense. We can't be sure Garoppolo will last for the entire season (or even camp and the preseason), but if any of the offensive players for Las Vegas are going to hit their best-case scenarios, he has to stay healthy. Brian Hoyer or fourth round pick Aidan O'Connell are waiting in the wings if Garoppolo suffers another injury. --------------------------------------------------------------- [KC: Kadarius Toney has minor knee injury](=) Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher Kansas City Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney (knee) 'tweaked' his knee while returning a kick at the beginning of practice Sunday, July 23, according to head coach Andy Reid. Our view: Toney is the ultimate boom-bust pick in fantasy drafts. He should have every opportunity to emerge as the top wide receiver in the Chiefs offense, and he has demonstrated the ability to take over a game. He also can't stay on the field and this item will remind everyone of that. His relatively cheap ADP for a potential top Patrick Mahomes target reflects the wide gulf between his best and worst-case scenarios, and if this causes it to fall, he'll be a better value in drafts. --------------------------------------------------------------- [KC: Isiah Pacheco still limited](=) Source: ChiefsWire - Charles Goldman Kansas City Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) was limited to individual drills during practice Sunday, July 23. He is still wearing a non-contact jersey at practices. Our view: Pacheco is recovering from multiple offseason surgeries. Being on the practice field at all is good news, but we'll be watching how quickly the team brings him along because he runs with a style that doesn't regard his health. UDFA Deneric Prince had a strong spring and could benefit from extra work in practice while Pacheco is rounding into form. --------------------------------------------------------------- [DET: Big role for Sam LaPorta?](=) Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman Detroit Lions TE Sam LaPorta is expected to 'have a role right away and be an important part of the offense' this season, according to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com. Our view: LaPorta is a big-time run after catch threat from the tight end position, and the Lions should be able to get him in mismatches with slower linebackers and lighter safeties with first round pick RB Jahmyr Gibbs and slot receiver extraordinaire Amon-Ra St. Brown also moving around the formation and putting stress on defenses. We saw multiple rookie tight ends make an impact in fantasy football before the season was over last year, and LaPorta is a good candidate to continue that trend this year. --------------------------------------------------------------- [CLE: Amari Cooper suffers injury]() Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper (undisclosed) is sidelined with an undisclosed injury, but it is not related to his core muscle surgery, according to general manager Andrew Berry. Our view: This is not new for Cooper, who seems to spend more time on the injury report than off of it. He didn't exactly click with Deshaun Watson last year, but none of the offense ran as well under Watson's guidance. Elijah Moore has been added this offseason and generated a lot of buzz in OTAs. If that trend continues and Cooper misses more time with this injury, the ADP gap between the top two Browns receivers should close. --------------------------------------------------------------- [CAR: Four players on PUP list](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Carolina Panthers OG Austin Corbett (knee), DT John Penisini (undisclosed), DE Jalen Redmond (undisclosed) and OG Chandler Zavala (undisclosed) were placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Saturday, July 22. Our view: Corbett tore an ACL in the season finale and probably won't be ready for the start of the regular season. Zavala was drafted in the fourth round this year and was expected to compete for the vacancy that will be opened while Corbett is on the mend, but he is dealing with a pectoral injury. --------------------------------------------------------------- [NYJ: PUP list for Duane Brown](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport New York Jets OT Duane Brown (undisclosed) was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Saturday, July 22. Our view: Brown is recovering from shoulder surgery and will compete with Mekhi Becton, Max Mitchell and Billy Turner for a starting tackle job once he's healthy. The Jets went through six tackles last year and might have trouble getting to the next level with Aaron Rodgers if they can't get good health and consistent play from the position this year. --------------------------------------------------------------- [TEN: Chris Hubbard worked out](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Free-agent OT Chris Hubbard (Browns) worked out for Tennessee Titans Saturday, July 22. Our view: The Titans offensive line is in bad shape, with right tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere facing a six-game suspension topping their immediate woes. Hubbard and George Fant have a lot of experience and could be stopgaps if they are signed after working out for the team. Free agent pickup Andre Dillard could also be an important figure in the Titans offense this year. --------------------------------------------------------------- [DET: Emmanuel Moseley not at camp]( Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman Detroit Lions CB Emmanuel Moseley (knee) has not reported for the start of training camp because of medical reason, according to head coach Dan Campbell. Campbell said Moseley likely will take longer to return than expected. Our view: Moseley was a bargain free agent, costing only $6 million on a one-year deal despite being one of the best corners in the 49ers standout defense. He tore an ACL in October and might not be full speed to begin the season, but if he can regain form this year, he should improve the Lions woeful pass defense and earn himself a big contract next year from them or another team (which would net the Lions a good compensatory pick). --------------------------------------------------------------- [TEN: Two sidelined for start of camp](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Tennessee Titans OT Dillon Radunz (knee) and CB Caleb Farley (back) were placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list Saturday, July 22. Our view: The team's first and second round picks from 2021 haven't worked out as planned. Farley had back surgery after suffering an injury covering a punt last year and Radunz suffered a torn ACL in December. Radunz has also been unable to stick at tackle and probably will be at guard if he has a future with the team. Farley has started two games in two years. That'll do it for today, Folks.
