[LVR - Josh Jacobs could hold out into Week 1]() Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero Las Vegas Raiders RB Josh Jacobs' holdout could extend into training camp and even Week 1, according to sources. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There's a chance things get ugly between the Raiders and Jacobs. Right now, it seems like normal posturing from both sides. With a deadline to get a deal done for the franchise-tagged RB, we could see things move quickly. We've got a couple of weeks before things get hectic. If Jacobs gets past the July 17 deadline for a new deal, then holding out into training camp and the regular season becomes more of a possibility. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [GB - Romeo Doubs set to be Jordan Love's top target?]( Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky Green Bay Packers WR Romeo Doubs has 'seemingly become quarterback Jordan Love's go-to guy - at least in the offseason practices,' according to ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky. Per Demovsky, Doubs was targeted time and again whether it was during scripted team periods or move-the-ball drills such as the two-minute simulation. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The drumbeat continues. One of the most consistent stories this offseason has been that Doubs is standing out during OTAs and minicamp. Do not be surprised come training camp if that story continues. Doubs is a nice late-round sleeper for early drafters, with WR Christian Watson being selected well ahead of him at this time. However, when drafters catch up to the news cycle (and what we should see in training camp) Doubs could rise fast up the draft boards. If he's the favorite target for Love, Doubs would at least have flex appeal from a fantasy perspective. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [KC - Travis Kelce values winning more]() Source: Vanity Fair - Tom Kludt Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce told Vanity Fair that he realizes he's underpaid, but he's not inclined to do anything about it. 'My managers and agents love to tell me how underpaid I am ,' Kelce said. 'Any time I talk about wanting more money, they're just like, 'Why don't you go to the Chiefs and ask them?' 'When I saw Tyreek (Hill) go and get 30 [million] a year, in the back of my head, I was like, man, that's two to three times what I'm making right now,' Kelce said. 'I'm like, the free market looks like fun until you go somewhere and you don't win. I love winning. I love the situation I'm in.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kelce is already one of the greatest tight ends of all time. He's certainly the best tight end in the modern era, and the winning should continue for the Chiefs who are perennial Super Bowl contenders. Kelce is under contract through 2025, and he's got a cap hit of $14.8 million this season. That's third in the league for 2023 behind George Kittle ($18MM) and Hunter Henry ($15.5MM). As the Chiefs try to keep their core together for more Super Bowl runs, it greatly helps them that Kelce is not asking to break the bank (because he could). [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [NYG - Big season ahead for Darren Waller?]( Source: ESPN.com - Jordan Raanan New York Giants TE Darren Waller 'looked healthy (during offseason practices) after two injury-plagued seasons' and 'stood out because of his size and explosiveness,' according to ESPN.com's Jordan Raanan. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Waller can be a big part of what the Giants do in 2023. They've been doing a good job of keeping him fresh this offseason, and we anticipate that continues in training camp and the preseason. With injuries to WRs Sterling Shepard and Wan'Dale Robinson (both could begin the regular season on PUP), Waller might see more early-season action than some expect. Fantasy GMs are drafting Waller as a TE1 somewhere in the TE5-8 range (sixth round in 12-team PPR formats). With a good camp/preseason, Waller might see an uptick in ADP. [DEN - KJ Hamler expects to be ready]() Source: Denver7 - Troy Renck Denver Broncos WR KJ Hamler (pectoral) expects to be ready by training camp, he said on Wednesday, June 28. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hamler has a ton of speed, but he's yet to play up to his potential in the pros. Injuries - many of them severe - have derailed the 2020 second-round pick. With so much talent on the Broncos' roster at the position, Hamler has his work cut out for him if he wants to make the team. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DEN - Kendall Hinton had knee scope]() Source: Denver7 - Troy Renck Denver Broncos WR Kendall Hinton (knee) had a minor knee scope this offseason but expects to be ready for training camp, he said on Wednesday, June 28. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hinton is a do-everything wide receiver for the Broncos (he can even play emergency quarterback). He's a valuable special teams player and reserve receiver, but the Broncos are jammed full of talent at the WR position. It's going to be difficult for Hinton to make the 53-man roster this year. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [100% Deposit Match Up To $100 At Underdog Fantasy]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [MIA - Miami made offer to Dalvin Cook]( Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson Free-agent RB Dalvin Cook (Vikings) received an offer from the Miami Dolphins, according to a source Tuesday, June 27. The parameters of the deal were not disclosed, but there is mutual interest from both sides. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] At this time, it seems like the Dolphins are the most likely landing spot for Cook. He can go back to Florida where he played college ball (FSU) and lead the way in a Mike McDaniel offense that knows how to craft a strong rushing attack. If/when Cook is added by the Dolphins, veteran RB Raheem Mostert will move to a reserve role. We think rookie RB Devon Achane is going to work as a speed/receiver/change-of-pace back no matter who is no.1 on the depth chart. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [ATL - Josh Ali making a push for a roster spot]( Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein Atlanta Falcons WR Josh Ali, who was on the practice squad during the 2022 season after suffering a knee injury late in his college career, often worked with now-starting quarterback Desmond Ridder last season. That chemistry carried over to offseason practices, and Ali was able to get some work in with the veterans this spring, according to ESPN.com's Michael Rothstein. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We've been monitoring Ali in super deep dynasty formats. He's not the biggest receiver, but Ali is not afraid of contact. We like the way he comes back to the ball, and he does a good job using his frame to keep defenders away from the incoming pass. Ali also has good body control, and he can track passes efficiently over his shoulder. We'll see what he can do this training camp in an effort to make the 53-man roster.
