[MIA - Tyreek Hill facing charges]( Source: NBC 6 South Florida - Monica Galarza Updating an earlier report, Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill will have charges pressed against him for an altercation at a marina. Police said that the alleged victim, who works for Kelly Fishing Fleet, was working on a charter boat at the marina in Haulover Park when he noticed two women on a fishing charter without permission. Police said the alleged victim told them that while he was telling the women to get off, an argument broke out between employees and the group on the boat. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Let's see what the league wants to do here. But first, they'll work through the legal process. This one will likely continue to develop. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [SF - QB Darnold has the edge for no.2 Job?]() Source: Pat McAfee - Twitter As a guest on the Pat McAfee Show, ESPN's Adam Schefter said that he believes San Francisco 49ers QB Sam Darnold "has the edge going into camp" over QB Trey Lance. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kyle Shanahan has loved Darnold for some time, and reports indicated he almost traded for him when Darnold's time with the Jets was done years ago. Now, Shanahan has Darnold, and some around the team say he's flourishing as a passer in this offense. We'll see come training camp. Lance is a better rusher than Darnold by far, but he's struggled in the brief time he's been on the field with the 49ers. Darnold has the experience edge and could be the primary backup to starting QB Brock Purdy. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [GB - Green Bay teammates praise Jordan Love](=) Source: FOX Sports - Carmen Vitali Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love has seemingly already won over the locker room, based on some recent quotes from his teammates.'Jordan can do it. When you go from Aaron Rodgers to Jordan, Aaron was a really great quarterback, but I believe Jordan can do the same exact thing. I don't really see what's the big difference,' receiver Romeo Doubs said a few weeks ago.'Best QB in the league,' cornerback Jaire Alexander said recently. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Let's pump the brakes on the Rodgers comparisons right now. Doubs certainly has been praising Love often this offseason, and camp reports indicate he may be the young quarterback's favorite target. Love has a lot to prove this year in his first season as the starter. We're certain Packers HC Matt LaFleur will set him up for success as best he can...but we're not expecting Rodgers-like play just yet. [NYJ - RB Knight Banged Up](=) Source: Zack Rosenblatt - The Athletic New York Jets RB Zonovan Knight "was banged up in OTAs and didn't really practice, working off to the side most days when the media was present" according to Zack Rosenblatt from The Athletic. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Knight will have to get healthy, stay healthy, and impress in training camp if he wants to make the team. The Jets have Breece Hall as their starter and Michael Carter as a nice backup. In the fifth round of the 2023 NFL draft, they selected Israel Abanikanda out of PITT and he's got skill as a runner between the tackles. We'll see if the Jets are interested in any of the veteran backs out there as well. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [BAL - J.K. Dobbins hoping to remain a Raven]() Source: BaltimoreRavens.com - Ryan Mink Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins wants to remain with the team long term, and head coach John Harbaugh said the Ravens 'want him back' beyond the 2023 season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Dobbins said his absence from Ravens' mandatory minicamp was contract-related. He's in the final year of his rookie contract with a salary cap hit of $1.8 million in 2023. Dobbins has little leverage in this situation, and he's previously said he would be reporting to training camp later this summer. We'll see if the Ravens throw him some extra scratch with a new contract. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [100% Deposit Match Up To $100 At Underdog Fantasy]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CLE - David Bell a lock to make the final roster](=) Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot Cleveland Browns WR David Bell 'had an excellent minicamp and organized team activities' and 'already looked more polished this offseason,' according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Per Cabot, Bell is 'in great standing with the club and will make the 53-man roster.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bell is buried on the depth chart, but the natural talent is there for him to make plays in the pros. He needs to have a good camp in order to lock himself onto the 53-man roster, but it sounds like his offseason is going in a positive direction. A third-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft, Bell had only 24 catches for 214 yards last season. The Browns selected WR Cedric Tillman in the third round, they brought WR Elijah Moore in via trade, and veteran speedster WR Marquise Goodwin was signed as a free agent. There is a cluster of talent, and Bell will have to perform well to stand out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [MIN - WR Nailor Offseason Showing Well]() Source: Alec Lewis - The Athletic Minnesota Vikings WR Jalen Nailor is showing well this offseason, and that could be a sign of him making an impact for the offense going forward per Alec Lewis from The Athletic. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] A sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft, there was a two-game stretch near the end of last season where Nailor had seven catches for 151 yards and one touchdown. That's the flash that got us even more excited in dynasty formats. This year, Nailor is competing to establish a pecking order behind the Vikings 'big 3' at the wide receiver position (Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, KJ Osborn). Keep him on your waiver wire speed dial in case he gets more opportunities this season.
