[High Stakes Average Draft Position]() In my opinion, our friends at the [NFFC]() run hands down the best High Stakes Fantasy Leagues in the country. They crush it from Draft to Championship and every step along the way. We've got a run down here of their latest Average Draft Position (ADP) data from some of the sharpest GMs in the game. B. [Eyes of the Guru IDP Info, Part 5: Arizona Cardinals]( Our John Norton sets the bar for Individual Defensive Player (IDP) deep dives. He's back again with another team and this time takes a look at the Cardinals' defense with an emphasis on individual defensive players and their fantasy value. C. [Think Twice About These 7 Overvalued Wide Receivers]( The Footballguys Value Plays articles are monster features and some of the best content we produce all year. We polled the Footballguys Staff asking for players they see as undervalued and overvalued. The trends and consensus (or lack of it) are super helpful. In this one, they look at the wide receivers they see as overvalued. D. [Reading the New Defense: Miami Dolphins]() Tripp Bebner continues his series covering new defensive coordinators' impact on key IDP players. In this one, he looks at the Dolphins. [LVR - Jimmy Garoppolo appears on track](=) Source: Las Vegas Review-Journal - Vincent Bonsignore Las Vegas Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo (foot) appears on track to be ready for the start of training camp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Will he be ready? Earlier reports put that into question, and there has been speculation the Raiders could add QB Carson Wentz or completely move on from Garoppolo. If he's ready for camp, then all this other noise about Garoppolo will quiet down. The Raiders have been using veteran QB Brian Hoyer as their lead quarterback this offseason while rookie QB Aidan O'Connell learns the ropes in the NFL. As we get closer to late July, the news about Garoppolo's status should be clearer. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [CAR - Carolina impressed with Bryce Young so far]() Source: ESPN.com - David Newton Carolina Panthers QB Bryce Young is on a 'clear path to be the Week 1 starter,' according to ESPN.com's David Newton, who adds that Young has impressed with 'his ability to process information to making all the throws, to earning the respect of his teammates.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Young has exactly what you need to be a good starter in this league - a fast processor. He's going to understand what defenses are trying to do, and Young is going to calculate quickly (likely before the snap) where the best place to go with the ball is. If the no.1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft does not start Week 1, we'd be shocked. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [HOU - C.J. Stroud on point during offseason work]() Source: ESPN.com - DJ Bien-Aime II Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud's ball placement repeatedly stood out throughout the spring, according to ESPN.com's DJ Bien-Aime II. Furthermore, teammate Case Keenum complemented Stroud's presence so far, telling ESPN.com that 'I would have thought (Stroud) had been here a year, been in the league, been a four-, five-year vet.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] We can't wait to see Stroud in training camp and the preseason. Earlier this offseason, Texans' QB coach Jerrod Johnson said Stroud is "already way, way ahead of pace" with footwork and timing. The rookie should have some struggles, but he's going to get the 2023 season to learn by starting from Week 1 (most likely). [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [ATL - Atlanta pleased with Bijan Robinson's early work]() Source: ESPN.com - Michael Rothstein Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson 'has been exactly as Atlanta anticipated,' according to ESPN.com's Michael Rothstein. When asked recently about whether the traits the Falcons saw in Robinson translated to the NFL, head coach Arthur Smith said: 'We do not have buyer's remorse, if that's what you're asking.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Robinson can do it all. The Falcons can use him as the centerpiece of their offense, and Robinson can produce as a runner or receiver out of the backfield. With QB Desmond Ridder, the Falcons need to have someone like Robinson carry the load while the young quarterback gets used to starting in the pros. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [NFL - Dalvin Cook looking for contender](=) Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Charean Williams Free-agent RB Dalvin Cook (Vikings) said he is looking to sign with a team that will be competing for a championship this season. He said there is no timetable to sign with a team. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] On the Adam Schefter Podcast, Cook said his shoulder is fully healthy following offseason surgery. Now, he waits for a team to sign him so he can get back to the football field. Cook, like most veteran free agents in his position, is waiting for a contending team to sign him. The Dolphins and the Rams may be the team's most interested in his services at this time. We could see Miami making a run this year, but the Rams are further away from contention. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [LAC - Derwin James talks up Quentin Johnston]() Source: ESPN.com - Lindsey Thiry Los Angeles Chargers WR Quentin Johnston is 'that guy,' in the opinion of new teammate Derwin James, who went on to praise Johnston's ability to get open, his confidence and his ability to finish runs. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] James is a seasoned pro who knows playmakers in this league. Johnston is big, fast, and he has some physicality to his game. The rookie first-round pick can fly be defenders, and this season he will be working to establish himself alongside Mike Williams and Keenan Allen. [LAR - Sony Michel back for second stint with LA Rams]( Source: TheRams.com Free-agent RB Sony Michel (Chargers) agreed to terms on an undisclosed contract with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday, June 20. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Michel spent the 2021 season with the Rams, carrying the ball 208 times for 845 yards and four rushing touchdowns. With the Chargers last year, Michel registered a career-low 2.9 yards per carry in 10 games. If he can bounce back this year with a strong performance in training camp, Michel should be the primary backup to Cam Akers. This move could push Kyren Williams and Zach Evans down the depth chart. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [IND - Michael Pittman had hip issue in 2022]( Source: 93.5 FM The Fan - Kevin Bowen Indianapolis Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. (hip) did not reveal a timetable to return from his hip injury and noted it's something he played through last season, he said on Wednesday, June 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Pittman has been missing time this offseason as he continues to recover from this hip injury. When healthy, we're interested to see the type and strength of chemistry Pittman can build with rookie QB Anthony Richardson. Pittman's fantasy value may not be as high as in years past. This year, the Colts should run the ball early and often to take pressure off their young quarterback. Also, Richardson is incredibly talented but has raw tools as a passer. This season could be a learning curve for Richardson, thus limiting Pittman's production. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [DET - Amon-Ra St. Brown wants to go deep]() Source: Detroit Free Press - Dave Birkett Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown wants to be more of a downfield threat in his third season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] St. Brown has dominated in the short-to-intermediate range over the first two seasons of his pro career. Getting a slight bump in downfield passes would be noticeable because it hasn't happened much while St. Brown is on the field. We could see them mixing in some deep targets for him here and there, but his traditional role should mostly be the one he plays this season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [MIN - Jordan Addison should be full-go for camp](=) Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Myles Simmons Minnesota Vikings WR Jordan Addison (undisclosed) is expected to be a full participant in training camp in late July, according to head coach Kevin O'Connell.'We've had a plan in place for him and continuing to kind of build up to where he'll be. He'll be spending quite a bit of time continuing his playbook. He's been phenomenal in meetings and out here asking great questions when they come up, but my expectation is that Jordan will be full when we get going in late July,' O'Connell said in a recent press conference. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Addison can get the targets vacated by WR Adam Thielen in O'Connell's offense. The rookie was a target hog at PITT, and Addison was a favorite target of QB Kenny Pickett. He transferred to USC where they spread the ball around a bit more, but Addison impressed enough to get picked in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. With an impressive training camp, Addison could climb up draft boards but we've forecasted him in the WR4/flex range at this time. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [100% Deposit Match Up To $100 At Underdog Fantasy]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [BAL - Zay Flowers drawing raves for offseason work]() Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley Baltimore Ravens WR Zay Flowers suffered the occasional drop during spring practices, but teammates and coaches raved about his 'sharp change of direction,' according to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley.'Zay is shifty. Zay is very fast, explosive. He can stop on the dime,' QB Lamar Jackson told ESPN.com recently. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There's nothing like news about Flowers to really get us excited. The rookie has a tremendous 'my ball' mentality, and he can make circus catches seem routine. The Ravens have worked to improve the wide receivers around QB Lamar Jackson, and the 2023 first-round pick could play at a Pro Bowl level when playing at his full potential. Honestly, that may take a year or two, but Flowers will get to work alongside Odell Beckham Jr and Rashod Bateman this season while he learns the pro game. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [LAC - Jalen Guyton may go on PUP list]( Source: Chargers Wire - Alex Insdorf Los Angeles Chargers WR Jalen Guyton (knee) may be a candidate to start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list depending on his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, in the opinion of ChargersWire's Alex Insdorf. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Guyton tore his ACL last season after appearing in three games. The Chargers decided to re-sign him this offseason knowing he might not be ready for the start of the regular season. When healthy, Guyton is a rarely-targeted deep threat for QB Justin Herbert. If he begins the season on the PUP list, it would take him out of action for the first six weeks of the year. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [DET - Hendon Hooker may start season on NFI list]( Source: LionsWire - Jeff Risdon Detroit Lions QB Hendon Hooker (knee) is a candidate to start the season on the Non-Football Injury list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Zero surprise here. Hooker's rookie season is going to be a redshirt year according to Lions' HC Dan Campbell. A late-season ACL tear at the University of Tennessee caused Hooker to fall to the third round of the 2023 NFL draft despite having first-round talent. He could be the team's successor to QB Jared Goff, but Hooker will have to get to full strength before any plans like that would be put into motion. We love Hooker in dynasty formats due to his long-term outlook and natural skill set as a runner and a passer.
