[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hopkins and Dalvin Cook are the biggest wildcards among free agents right now. Both will boost the offenses they eventually land in, but ding the value of at least a few players along the way. They will try to slow play themselves into a better contract by being patient, but probably haven't found the market for their services that they were expecting (yet). No contract has been agreed to at this point, but there is optimism that the two sides will be able to reach an agreement. Parker basically said no comment when asked about the possibility of Hopkins joining the team, in stark contrast to the enthusiasm expressed by Mac Jones. [BUF - Trent Sherfield continues to shine](=) Source: The Athletic - Joe Buscaglia Buffalo Bills WR Trent Sherfield has been a favorite target for QB Josh Allen throughout OTAs, according to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, and Buscaglia said Shefield 'has stood out the most' in the competition to be the No. 3 receiver. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bills also have 2022 fifth-round pick Khalil Shakir and free agent signing Deonte Harty competing for the #3 job. Buscaglia mentions that Sherfield seems to have the skillset to back up both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, in addition to potentially winning the #3 job. Sherfield beat out Cedrick Wilson to be the #3 in Miami last year despite Wilson getting a much larger contract, and he's a good blocker to boost the running game. No matter who gets the largest share of snaps at the #3 receiver, the Bills have a wide variety of talents to employ there, and the addition of first round pick TE Dalton Kincaid will give them stronger two tight end sets too. Josh Allen should benefit from plethora of new supporting cast players in the passing game. The deal also includes a $3.773 million signing bonus. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Austin Hooper should be the primary receiving tight end for the Raiders, but Mayer is very polished for a rookie and will play right away. The addition of Mayer and Hooper will allow the Raiders to use the two tight end set portion of their playbook even though they traded Darren Waller to the Giants and allowed Foster Moreau to leave for New Orleans in free agency. It is possible that Jamaal Williams takes some of Hill's goal line rushing opportunities away, but if he is getting more chances to catch the ball as a tight end, then that should keep his weekly boom/bust fantasy value intact. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Price actually started 11 games for the Cardinals last year after Rodney Hudson went down, so he could make the team as a backup to Erik McCoy, who missed five games last year. Right guard Cesar Ruiz is the backup center right now, but keeping him at his starting spot in case of another injury to McCoy would help the line's continuity.
