[KC - KC had talks with DeAndre Hopkins before draft](#5) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [CLE - Elijah Moore busy at practice]( Source: ClevelandBrowns.com - Anthony Poisal Cleveland Browns WR Elijah Moore has been a 'constant target' for QB Deshaun Watson during OTAs, according to Anthony Poisal of ClevelandBrowns.com [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Back in late March, the Browns acquired Moore and a 2023 third-round pick from the Jets in exchange for a 2023 second-round pick. A second-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft, Moore has flashed but it was difficult - if not impossible - for him to be consistent when Zach Wilson was tossing him the ball. This is a drumbeat Fantasy GMs need to listen up for in training camp to see if it continues. Moore has talent, and he could pay off like a WR4 with upside if he hits in 2023. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [TB - Russell Gage dealing with injury](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Russell Gage Jr. (undisclosed) has been dealing with an undisclosed injury, according to QB Baker Mayfield. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Earlier this year, the Buccaneers reportedly moved Gage's $10 million base salary to $7 million (and he can earn some back with incentives). They did this to free up some money, and he did it to help out the team (he's signed through the 2024 season). Gage is a weapon when healthy, but staying healthy has been a problem. He was carted off the field in the Buccaneers' Wild Card loss to the Cowboys back in January. We'll see if he can get healthy, stay healthy, and provide Mayfield with a reliable no.3 wide receiver in 2023. [NE - Pats interested in DeAndre Hopkins]() Source: The Athletic - Jeff Howe Free-agent WR DeAndre Hopkins (Cardinals) is more likely to garner interest from the New England Patriots now that he's a free agent, per sources on Saturday, May 27. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This report has been speculated before, and now it seems to be gaining some traction. Hopkins is likely to desire a team that is in a championship window - and those days have gone "bye-bye" in New England. They don't even know yet if Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe is the better quarterback. Money talks, and you-know-what walks, but it seems like Hopkins to the Patriots is a longer shot than connecting him with the Chiefs or the Bills. Stay tuned. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [PIT - Allen Robinson working as slot WR](=) Source: Pittsburgh Tribune-Review - Chris Adamski Pittsburgh Steelers WR Allen Robinson (foot) said he has been lining up mostly as a slot receiver during offseason workouts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Robinson can make a difference for the Steelers in the slot. He could become one of QB Kenny Pickett's favorite targets and help move the chains when the team goes through the air in 2023. Robinson has been limited during practices because of foot surgery but expects to be a full participant at training camp. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [100% Deposit Match Up To $100 At Underdog Fantasy]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [KC - KC had talks with DeAndre Hopkins before draft](=) Source: MMQB - Albert Breer Free-agent WR DeAndre Hopkins (Cardinals) and the Kansas City Chiefs engaged in discussions with the Arizona Cardinals' permission before the 2023 NFL Draft but talks ultimately went nowhere as Hopkins' contract was the main obstacle, according to Albert Breer of the MMQB. Per Breer, any chance of the Chiefs signing Hopkins now would mean the receiver's price tag would have to come 'way down.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Chiefs were nosing around whether or not they could make a trade for Hopkins, and now that he's a free agent many are connecting him with Kansas City. It makes sense on so many levels. Hopkins wants a ring, QB Patrick Mahomes can always use more weapons, and the Chiefs are cemented in a Super Bowl window. The only thing that doesn't work; the salary cap. According to OverTheCap.com, the Chiefs currently have less than $1 million in cap space. They'd have to move around some money to make room for Hopkins. They can do it if they want to - there's always cap space if you get creative. We'll see if the Chiefs do just that.
