We want him to be here. But you've got to have a deal where both parties are happy with where you end up,' Schoen said in an interview on NFL Network last week. Ball security was an issue for him last year, so he'll have to improve that area of his game to be trusted in the pros. Hamilton was a third-round pick for the Jaguars coming out of Ohio State in the 2020 NFL draft. He flourished last year with career-best numbers in tackles (56), tackles for loss (five), and sacks (2.5). Hamilton will lock up the middle of the defensive line once again in 2023 and beyond. A sixth-round pick (DEN) coming out of Colorado in the 2019 NFL draft, Winfree has only nine catches for 75 yards during his pro career (most of that production came with the Packers in 2021). The Colts are jammed with talent at the wide receiver position, so Winfree has his work cut out for him if he's going to make the 53-man roster.
