[LAR - Zach Evans a perfect fit?]( Source: RamsWire - Cameron DaSilva Los Angeles Rams RB Zach Evans has 'some special traits' and has a skillset that complements RB Cam Akers and the other running backs on the roster, according to head coach Sean McVay. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Evans flashed a ton of natural talent in college at Ole Miss. He reminds some in the scouting community of Melvin Gordon because of his ability to gash defenses with speed and finish runs with a bit of power. Evans can take advantage of rushing lanes in a gap system, plus he can hit the cutback lane with speed to outrun angles. The rookie is going to compete for a spot in the pecking order, likely battling with Kyren Williams for the primary backup job to Akers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [TEN - Will Levis in if team starts slowly?](=) Source: NBC Sports - Peter King Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis could become the starter by Nov. 1 if the team starts slowly, in the opinion of NBC Sports' Peter King. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It shouldn't take long for Levis to beat Malik Willis for the primary backup job to Ryan Tannehill. If/when Tannehill struggles, it makes the most sense for the Titans to turn things over to the rookie. Levis fell in the draft, but the Titans need a quarterback of the future as Tannehill is in the final year of his contract. We'll see if the Titans can make one more run, or if the time is now to start building for the future with Levis under center. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [KC - Skyy Moore has confidence of QB]() Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher Kansas City Chiefs WR Skyy Moore's comfort level with the offense improved throughout last season, according to QB Patrick Mahomes. 'You could see it, especially with Skyy at the end of the season, how he was getting more and more involved in the offense,' Mahomes said. 'I think he'll continue to take those steps and be even better this year when he's more comfortable and can utilize his talents even more.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moore flashed at times last season as a rookie. He played as a reserve as the 2022 second-round pick learned the ropes in the NFL. This year, Moore will be tasked with a larger role so he should be able to post better numbers than the 22 catches for 250 yards he had in 2022. He's a playmaker who can create separation before and after the catch, and in this offense Moore has plenty of flex appeal for Fantasy GMs in PPR formats. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [KC - Kadarius Toney to shine in offense?]() Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher Kansas City Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney has never had the chance to play with a quarterback who pushes the ball down the field like QB Patrick Mahomes, according to general manager Brett Veach, and Veach believes 'the sky is the limit' for Toney in the Kansas City offense. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Veach is correct, and Toney does have a tremendous upside for the Chiefs' offense - and for Fantasy GMs. Toney needs to stay healthy to reach his potential, and catching passes from QB Patrick Mahomes should keep him focused. Consider Toney a WR3 with upside for the 2023 season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [KC - Rashee Rice a force after the catch?]() Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher Kansas City Chiefs WR Rashee Rice 'turns into a running back after the catch,' according to assistant general manager Mike Borgonzi. 'That's a big part of our offense here,' Borgonzi said [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rice is a playmaker, and it's almost unfair the Chiefs were able to get him in the draft. He should be able to thrive after the catch because he's got a second gear to create separation with the ball in his hands. Rice needs to learn better route-running ability, and his game needs to be more consistent than it was in college at SMU in order to play up to his potential. [CLE - Harrison Bryant buried on depth chart?]( Source: The Athletic - Zac Jackson Cleveland Browns TE Harrison Bryant 'appears' to be behind TE Jordan Akins on the depth chart heading into the 2023 season, according to Zac Jackson of The Athletic. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bryant is in the final year of his rookie contract, and he's been just "okay" in his pro career - but not much more than that. A fourth-round pick out of FAU in the 2020 NFL draft, Bryant is good for 25-30 catches this season in his current role. That's not fantasy relevant for most out there, but dynasty GMs in deeper leagues can hope that a fresh start with a new team (likely next season) could help. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [CHI - Darnell Mooney should be ready for camp]() Source: ESPN.com - Courtney Cronin Chicago Bears WR Darnell Mooney (ankle) is doing well in his rehab from a 2022 ankle injury, wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert said on Saturday, May 6. Tolbert added he 'certainly hopes' Mooney will be ready for training camp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mooney was injured in Week 12 last season with this ankle injury. The speedy wide receiver had over 1,000 yards receiving in 2021, but in 2022 he missed five games and finished the season with 40 catches for 493 yards and two touchdowns. With D.J. Moore likely to command most of the attention from opposing secondaries, Mooney could take advantage of one-on-one coverage. If healthy, Mooney has flex appeal for Fantasy GMs out there. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [SF - San Francisco signs two]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Free-agents DT Marlon Davidson (Falcons) and TE Troy Fumagalli (49ers) signed one-year deals with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, May 8. Financial terms of the deals were not immediately disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] A fifth-round pick of the Broncos in the 2018 NFL draft, Fumagalli has bounced around the league to a few different teams. He spent last offseason with the 49ers, and Fumagalli made their practice squad for a couple of months. Once again, he'll compete for a roster spot and give the 49ers veteran depth while he's there. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [100% Deposit Match Up To $100 At Underdog Fantasy]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [IND - Indy makes roster moves](=) Source: Colts.com Free-agents WR Kody Case (Illinois), OT Matthew Vanderslice (Northern Iowa), and DT Jamal Woods (Illinois) signed with the Indianapolis Colts on undisclosed deals Monday, May 8. Additionally, WR Cody Chrest, CB Tyler Richardson, RB Titus Swen, and WR Braxton Westfield were waived. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Case transferred from South Dakota, and he's a receiver with great stop/start ability. He can quickly change directions, and Case has some big play ability in his game. In super crazy deep dynasty formats, we'll keep an eye on him. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [IND - UDFA WR Tyler Adams signs with Indy]() Source: Click2Houston.com - Aaron Wilson Free-agent WR Tyler Adams (Butler) is signing with the Indianapolis Colts, according to a source Monday, May 8. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Adams originally began his college career at Harvard where he played for four seasons before playing as a graduate transfer at Butler. Last year, Adams caught 39 passes for 689 yards with five touchdowns in 11 games. He participated in the Colts' local pro day back in April.
