It includes $15.3 million in total guarantees and a signing bonus of $8.8 million. His 2023 base salary ($1.01 million) and 2024 base salary ($5.5 million) are fully guaranteed. Love has $9 million in escalators based on performance in 2023 and a $500,000 workout bonus in 2024. He's got tremendous skill, and Carter can wreck games from the defensive line. [LAR - Brett Rypien joining LAR](=) Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis Free-agent QB Brett Rypien (Broncos) agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams Wednesday, May 3, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Rypien was the no.2 quarterback for the Broncos, and he's been forced into starting duty a couple of times over the last few seasons. Undrafted out of Boise State in 2019, Rypien is incredibly smart (and he's probably going to be a coach someday) but he's limited in his skill set. His experience gives him an edge to win the primary backup job behind starting QB Matthew Stafford.
