1. [LAC - Mike Williams could be back for camp]()
Source: ESPN.com - Eric D. Williams
Los Angeles Chargers WR [Mike Williams](=) (back) said he has been logging mental reps while recovering from a back injury, and head coach Anthony Lynn said the hope is that Williams can return for the start of training camp.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's going to be around two months since Williams back injury at the start of camp. He will likely be eased back into action once he's available to practice. He's got the size/wingspan to at least be a red-zone threat for the Chargers as a rookie.

2. [CLE - Myles Garrett should be ready for camp](=)
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett (foot) has been diagnosed with a left lateral foot sprain and is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's good news for the Browns. The 2017 no1 overall pick is in a walking boot and will obviously take it easy during the break. Expect the Browns to ease him into camp when he's ready to participate.

3. [IND - S Clayton Geathers likely to miss start of camp](
Source: The Indianapolis Star - Zak Keefer
Indianapolis Colts S Clayton Geathers (neck) likely will not be ready for the start of training camp because he is recovering from offseason neck surgery and may even miss the start of the regular season.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Neck injuries are nothing nice, and they are tricky to come back from. Geathers was a playmaker for the Colts against the run last year, and his presence will be missed if he sits for a time during the regular season. T.J. Green and Malik Hooker might open the season as the Colts starting safeties.

4. [NYJ - WR Charone Peake has lead on third receiver spot]()
Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini
New York Jets WR [Charone Peake](=) is expected to be one of the team's top three receivers on Opening Day, along with [Quincy Enunwa](=) and [Robby Anderson](=), according to ESPN's Rich Cimini.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We're always intrigued by Clemson WRs when they get to the pro level. A seventh-round pick in 2016, Peake sat behind guys like DeAndre Hopkins, Sammy Watkins and Martavis Bryant at Clemson. At 6'2" 209 pounds, Peake has a nice size/speed combination. He can be a factor as a receiver at all three levels of the field. As a no3 wideout with the Jets, Peake should be able to take advantage of coverage in multiple ways. We'd feel better about his dynasty outlook if the Jets had a real QB. Maybe next year....

5. [SF - George Kittle make good first impression]()
Source: Sacramento Bee - Matt Barrows
San Francisco 49ers fifth-round TE George Kittle was the team's most prolific target during the recent minicamp and drew praise from QB [Brian Hoyer](=) for his football awareness and intelligence.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
At 6'4" 250 pounds, Kittle has good athleticism and the speed to attack the deep middle seam. He's a move tight end/H-back type, but Kittle is also a sound blocker. It's not the best role for him, but he's willing to block and plays with good effort and technique.

6. [SF - Trent Taylor as advertised]()
Source: Sacramento Bee - Matt Barrows
San Francisco 49ers fifth-round WR Trent Taylor has been sure-handed in early workouts and 'very good at shaking free of coverage with a quick, up-field step as soon as the ball arrived,' according the Sacramento Bee's Matt Barrows.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That sounds about right. In college at Louisiana Tech, Taylor's game was all about shake and bake and creating separation. He rarely drops a pass and seems to toy with defenders on underneath routes. Taylor is competing for a roster spot and is no lock to make the 53-man roster as a rookie. However, if he one day develops into a Taylor Gabriel-like weapon for 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan we won't be surprised.

7. [MIN - QB Teddy Bridgewater looks sharp]()
Source: ESPN.com - Ben Goessling
Minnesota Vikings QB [Teddy Bridgewater](=) is looking better throwing the ball, according to head coach Mike Zimmer, and WR [Laquon Treadwell](=) said he has been impressed with the timing of Bridgewater's throws.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Reports indicate that Bridgewater has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove that he can come back from the horrific leg injury he suffered last year. Sam Bradford is the team's starter, but it looks like Bridgewater could be available in 2017 as his backup.

8. [KC - QB Alex Smith already locked in](
Source: The Associated Press
Kansas City Chiefs QB [Alex Smith](=) has 'started back faster' in OTAs than ever before, according to assistant head coach Brad Childress.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's a great sign for Smith as he has 2017 first-round pick Patrick Mahomes behind him on the depth chart. This is likely his last season with the Chiefs as Mahomes is groomed to be the quarterback of the future. In fact, we won't be shocked if Mahomes sees a bit of time on the field this year.

9. [HOU - D'Onta Foreman signs contract](
Source: Houston Chronicle - John McClain
Houston Texans third-round draft choice RB D'Onta Foreman signed his four-year contract Saturday, June 17. Financial terms were not disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Foreman is a big back, measuring in at 6'0" 233 pounds. He's not as powerful as his size would indicate as Foreman has the athleticism to play more like a finesse runner. He's competing with Alfred Blue for the backup role behind Lamar Miller in 2017.

10. [JAX - Three Jags DBs uncertain for start of camp](=)
Source: The Florida Times-Union - John Reid
Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone would not say if he believes CB Aaron Colvin (undisclosed), FS Tashaun Gipson (undisclosed) and Barry Church (back) will be ready for the start of training camp.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Jaguars have a revamped secondary they'll debut in 2017, but there are some injury concerns already. Not only are these three banged up, second-year star Jalen Ramsey (core) is currently recovering from surgery and his availability for the start of training camp is unknown.

11. [MIN - George Edwards to call defensive plays for MIN?]()
Source: Minneapolis Star Tribune - Andrew Krammer
Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is considering giving up defensive play-calling responsibilities to defensive coordinator George Edwards so that he can focus on other areas of the team.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Other areas of the team means the offense. The Vikings haven't had a robust offense under Zimmer, but their defense has been pretty good. Zimmer hasn't made a final decision yet but could give Edwards an opportunity to call defensive plays during a preseason game.

12. [MIN - Rodney Adams to return kicks]()
Source: ESPN.com - Ben Goessling
Minnesota Vikings WR Rodney Adams will have the first chance to handle kick return duties, and Ben Goessling of ESPN.com believes Adams could have a role in the offense as a slot receiver this season.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A fifth-round pick out of South Florida this year, Adams has the speed to eat cushion quickly. He does a good job of varying his speed in the route and can lull defenders to sleep just to burst by them for a big play. Adams can be used effectively on screen and pop passes.

13. [IND - Chester Rogers more polished]()
Source: ESPN.com - Mike Wells
Indianapolis Colts WR [Chester Rogers](=) is running sharper routes this year, according to QB [Andrew Luck](=), and Mike Wells of ESPN.com believes Rogers has put himself in the mix for the No. 3 receiver job.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Undrafted out of Grambling State in 2016, Rogers played 380 snaps as a rookie and hauled in 19 passes for 273 yards. He's competing for the no3 WR spot with the Colts behind T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief. Veteran Kamar Aiken has to be considered the favorite right now, but we think Rogers has intriguing dynasty potential.

14. [JAX - Dede Westbrook working his way back]()
Source: The Florida Times-Union - Ryan O'Halloran
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook (undisclosed) returned to OTAs on a limited basis this weekend, performing individual drills but observing team drills.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Westbrook has a ton of quickness on the field and can get open on underneath routes. He'll compete for the no3 WR job in Jacksonville behind Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns.

15. [LAR - Cooper Kupp back at practice]()
Source: The Orange County Register - Rich Hammond
Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (back) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, June 14, after suffering a back injury Tuesday, June 13.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Good news for the rookie here. Kupp is a savvy player who can make tough catches with coverage draped all over him. Think Eric Decker when you think of Kupp's potential as a pro. Kupp is not flashy like Robert Woods or Tavon Austin, but he might become a favorite target of second-year QB Jared Goff in 2017.

16. [ATL - Reggie Davis' speed stands out]()
Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure
Atlanta Falcons WR Reggie Davis' speed 'jumps out,' according to head coach Dan Quinn, and Quinn said Davis has made 'an impact' during spring practices.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Davis has impressed since his tryout during the Falcons rookie minicamp. He didn't do much for the Georgia Bulldogs in college (38 career catches for 618 receiving yards and two touchdowns) but has the speed to get by defenders in a hurry. That was evident on his first college catch -- the longest offensive play in Dawgs history -- a 98 yard touchdown against North Texas in 2013. At 6'0" 170 pounds, Davis could get work as a return man as well.

17. [GB - Trevor Davis making strides]()
Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky
Green Bay Packers WR [Trevor Davis](=) has made significant improvements and is playing with more confidence, according to wide receivers coach Luke Getsy.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A fifth-round pick out of Cal in 2016, Davis brings track speed to the football field. He didn't do much as a rookie and was inactive for a handful of games in 2016. A more confident Davis can play faster -- and play better -- in 2017. Keep an eye on his progress in dynasty leagues.

18. [OAK - QB EJ Manuel eyeing backup role]()
Source: ESPN.com - Paul Gutierrez
Oakland Raiders QB [EJ Manuel](=) has been receiving second-team reps ahead of QB [Connor Cook](=).
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Manuel is a football junkie, has a big arm and the athleticism to keep plays alive with his feet. He failed to impress as a first-round pick for the Bills, but Manuel could put up a fight versus Cook.

19. [NO - Zach Strief mentions three LT candidates]()
Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio - Alex Marvez
New Orleans Saints OTs Ryan Ramczyk, Bryce Harris and Khalif Barnes are candidates to start at left tackle in place of OT Terron Armstead (shoulder), according to OT Zach Strief.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Saints had the makings of a dominant offensive line before this injury to Armstead. Saints OG Andrus Peat might also be in the competition for left tackle while Armstead is out.

20. [KC - WR Demarcus Robinson on the rise]()
Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher
Kansas City Chiefs WR [Demarcus Robinson](=) has had a good offseason, according to head coach Andy Reid. 'He can go after it,' Reid said. 'He can run, and he can do the short stuff, too. His strength coming in was that he was good after the catch wherever you get it to him.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A fourth-round pick out of Florida in 2016, Robinson has vertical talent as a pass-catcher. He goes deep and does a good job tracking passes over his shoulder. Robinson may not do much with Alex Smith under center, but keep an eye on the chemistry he can establish with rookie gunslinger Patrick Mahomes.

21. [- CB Tramon Williams looking for contender](
Source: Sirius XM NFL Radio
Free-agent CB Tramon Williams (Browns) said he looking to sign with a contending team and is willing to play cornerback or safety.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
At 34-years old, Williams is not the player he once was during his heyday with the Packers. Williams started five games at cornerback for the Browns last season and two games at safety. If someone picks him up, it's likely going to come with the expectation that the veteran will play safety.

22. [DAL - DE Charles Tapper loses weight](=)
Source: Fort Worth Star-Telegram - Kevin Casas
Dallas Cowboys DE Charles Tapper has lost nearly 20 pounds since the end of last season and is down to 11 percent body fat from 13 percent in an attempt to increase his agility.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli wants Tapper to shift from an interior spot on the defensive line to a spot where he lines up on the outside shoulder of the tackle. A fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma in 2016, Tapper missed his entire rookie season due to injury. With his back problems behind him, Tapper is likely to be a key piece of the Cowboys rotation up front.
