The long-term health for Tagovailoa is top priority, and Dolphins' head coach Mike McDaniel has expressed a similar sentiment. While there may be a possibility that Jackson returns, it seems like an outside chance. All reporters can agree that Jackson has been dealing with swelling and his knee doesn't feel quite right. The Colts are looking everywhere for the next head coach, and Ventrone's interview is a sign that he's on track to one day - perhaps not this time around - be a head coach in this league. Saleh said he expects Wilson's play to take a big jump next season. That's basically a warning because if he doesn't improve then the Jets will put him on the bench. Expect the Jets to bring in competition for the starting job this offseason in the form of a veteran free agent. [DEN - Jim Caldwell interviewing with Denver](=) Source: CBS Sports HQ - Josina Anderson Former Indianapolis Colts and Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell is interviewing for the Denver Broncos' head coaching vacancy Wednesday, Jan. 11. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] As we saw under interim head coach Jerry Rosburg, the Broncos responded to an old-school approach and looked competitive over their final two games of the 2022 season. Caldwell went 62-50 over seven years as the head coach of the Colts and the Lions. At age 67, Caldwell has plenty of experience that Denver covets this time around after three swings-and-misses on men with no previous head coaching experience (Vance Joseph, Vic Fangio, Nathaniel Hackett). In addition, the Giants signed OL Solomon Kindley to a reserve/futures contract. He appeared in two games for the Cowboys before being waived. Washington lands with the Giants, a team that could use talent at the position. We'll see how far the Giants can go in the postseason and if Washington is able to make it to the field in the playoffs. As the team finally decided to move on from Matt Rhule, the hiring of a guy like Reich would be a quality move. Fired by the Colts during the 2022 season, Reich can bring consistency to the Panthers organization. We'll see what quarterback the Panthers add this offseason that Reich could potentially be working with if hired. There's plenty of buzz about the Panthers making a splashy move at the quarterback position, perhaps via trade (Lamar Jackson?) this offseason. Stay tuned.
