[MIA - RB Jay Ajayi prepared for big workload]( Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero Miami Dolphins RB [Jay Ajayi](=) is ready to receive more touches this season. 'I'll be ready to carry the ball however many times I have to,' Ajayi said. 'I feel like I'm a workhorse and I get better as the game keeps going and I continue to be a part of the game.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Head coach Adam Gase admitted that Ajayi is Miami's bell cow running back. Fantasy owners know that Ajayi can tote the rock as the lead back for the Dolphins. He's been working on his route-running ability and could be in line for more receptions than the 27 he posted in 2016. The no11 fantasy back last year, Ajayi should break into the top 10 in 2017. His current ADP is RB7 (2.02) in 12-team PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NYJ - WR Quincy Enunwa absent at minicamp]() Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta New York Jets WRs [Quincy Enunwa](=) (neck) will not participate in minicamp this week, according to head coach Todd Bowles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Enunwa is likely to be the Jets top target this year with the release of Eric Decker. The quarterback situation will give you nightmares, but the opportunity is there for Enunwa to pay off like a WR3/WR4 for fantasy owners. His current ADP is WR58 (12.11) in 12-team PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [ATL - WR Julio Jones not part of minicamp]() Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure Atlanta Falcons WR [Julio Jones](=) (foot) is not participating in minicamp as he continues to recover from offseason foot surgery. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] No hurries, no worries here. Jones does expect to be ready for training camp in late July. Fantasy owners know that a healthy Jones can be a top-5 fantasy WR and a mid-first round pick in any format. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [BAL - WR Breshad Perriman displaying confidence]( Source: The Baltimore Sun - Jeff Zrebiec Baltimore Ravens WR [Breshad Perriman](=) is exuding confidence this offseason, so much so that QB [Joe Flacco](=) claimed you can see Perriman's confidence in his eyes. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Perriman has the natural skill set to exude confidence if healthy. He's big, fast and physical...a combination that can be incredibly tough to cover. Perriman is entering his third season, and the 2015 first round pick has been on the sidelines due to knee injuries for most of his career. If healthy, Perriman could catch 50 or more passes for a Ravens offense that needs help at the WR position...even with the signing of Jeremy Maclin. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [BUF - WR Sammy Watkins involved in team drills](=) Source: WKBW.com - Joe Buscaglia Buffalo Bills WR [Sammy Watkins](=) (foot) participated in team drills at minicamp Tuesday, June 13. Head coach Sean McDermott said Watkins has responded well to a bigger workload and that workload will continue to be increased as long as Watkins can handle it. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Watkins has been limited by injury over the last two seasons, and we thought the Bills were going to take it easy on him in minicamp. They must believe that he can do more than some thought with the idea that he'll be full go for training camp. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [DEN - No team drills for RB Jamaal Charles]() Source: ESPN.com - Jeff Legwold Denver Broncos RB [Jamaal Charles](=) (knee) will not participate in team drills during the Broncos' three-day minicamp. He will do some work with his helmet on, however. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Charles has taken some handoffs during individual drills but that's it. He still thinks he can be 'the man' and Charles seems rather salty after the Chiefs let him go. If his knees hold up, we think Charles works best in a limited role as a change-of-pace back behind starter C.J. Anderson. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [TEN - WR Tajae Sharpe out of cast](=) Source: TitanInsider.com - Terry McCormick Tennessee Titans WR [Tajae Sharpe](=) (foot) had the cast on his foot removed, and he's now in a boot. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With the additions of Corey Davis (first round) and Taywan Taylor (third round) in the 2017 NFL draft, Sharpe is now fourth on the depth chart at best. His pro career got started with a 7-76 line in Week 1 of his rookie season, but it was all downhill after that even though he played a full 16 games. This year, don't expect Sharpe to be much of a fantasy factor. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [IND - QB Andrew Luck to observe minicamp]() Source: The Indianapolis Star - Zak Keefer Indianapolis Colts QB [Andrew Luck](=) (shoulder) will be an observer in the minicamp this week, according to head coach Chuck Pagano. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Luck had right shoulder surgery in January 2017 to repair an injury (partially torn labrum) that dated back to the 2015 season. There was no initial timetable for his return, but it's not really a surprise the team is going to hold him out until training camp. Colts owner Jim Irsay has indicated that Luck is going to be ready for the start of the regular season. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [NE - QB Jimmy Garoppolo limited](=) Source: ESPNBoston.com - Mike Reiss New England Patriots QB [Jimmy Garoppolo](=) (leg) was limited to the exercise bike Tuesday, June 13, due to a minor leg injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Garoppolo is set to be the primary backup behind Tom Brady again this year. After 2017, Garoppolo is scheduled to be a free agent on the open market. It will be interesting to see if they can keep him around if Brady sticks around past this year, which is quite likely given his health and desire to play well into his 40s. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [IND - WR T.Y. Hilton has hamstring strain]() Source: The Indianapolis Star - Stephen Holder Indianapolis Colts WR [T.Y. Hilton](=) (hamstring) is unlikely to do much during the minicamp this week due to a hamstring strain. The injury didn't appear to be a long-term concern. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Speedy receivers don't respond well to hamstring injuries if rushed back. The Colts will be wise and ease Hilton back in at the start of training camp. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [MIA - WR DeVante Parker looking good]( Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson Miami Dolphins WR [DeVante Parker](=) has been making things look easy during offseason workouts and will be a big part of the offense in 2017, according to QB [Matt Moore](=). [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This entire offseason has been filled with positive reports about Parker. That's a drumbeat fantasy owners need to be paying attention to. Parker has been more dedicated to his craft this offseason, and his coaches have taken note. Beat writers around the team are expecting him to have a breakout season in 2017. Parker has a current ADP of WR38 (8.05) in 12-team PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [NYJ - ArDarius Stewart also sidelined]() Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta New York Jets WR ArDarius Stewart (groin) will not participate in minicamp this week, according to head coach Todd Bowles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Jets are running a little shorthanded at the position. They released Eric Decker, Quincy Enunwa (neck) is missing minicamp and now Stewart -- likely the third WR behind Enunwa and Robby Anderson -- is banged up. The rookie from Alabama will be out for minicamp and we'll have to see if he can be ready for training camp at the end of July. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [ATL - WR Taylor Gabriel not practicing either]() Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure Atlanta Falcons WR [Taylor Gabriel](=) (undisclosed) did not participate in minicamp Tuesday, June 13, as he deals with an undisclosed injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gabriel is going to stretch the field for the Falcons once again this year. A modest increase of the numbers he produced last year (35 catches, 579 yards) is a reasonable projection. Gabriel is an exciting playmaker in a high-powered offense, but from a fantasy perspective he's mainly just depth and a WR7. His current ADP is WR70 (14.07) in 12-team PPR leagues. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [SF - C.J. Beathard signs rookie deal]( Source: 49ers.com San Francisco 49ers QB C.J. Beathard signed his four-year rookie deal Tuesday, June 13. Financial terms were not disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Beathard is with a QB guru in new head coach Kyle Shanahan. The rookie from Iowa has a beautiful deep pass (think Jeff Blake) and is not afraid to push the ball downfield. He needs to work on timing, pass placement and intermediate accuracy if he wants to be considered more than a developmental quarterback for the 49ers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [TEN - Corey Davis full go at minicamp](=) Source: TitanInsider.com - Terry McCormick Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (ankle) said his ankle is at full health after participating fully during minicamp Tuesday, June 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Davis required minor surgery after injuring his ankle in preparation for the 2017 NFL draft. The Titans have been taking it easy with him so far, and that should continue through minicamp. All reports indicate the no5 pick in the 2017 NFL draft will be full go for training camp. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [BUF - Jonathan Williams key to Bills' success](=) Source: WKBW.com - Joe Buscaglia Buffalo Bills RB [Jonathan Williams](=)' development will be vital to the Bills' future success, according to head coach Sean McDermott. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Dynasty owners should be drooling over this story. Williams was a fine back in college at Arkansas, displaying toughness and instinct as a runner. He's currently getting first-team reps in minicamp with LeSean McCoy out sick (stomach virus). Williams could be in line for a larger role with the Bills in the future. McCoy (29 in July) isn't getting any younger, and there's an out in his contract after this season (plus no guaranteed money past 2017). [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [DEN - Two Broncos nursing injuries]( Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis Denver Broncos DT Kyle Peko (foot) and TE [A.J. Derby](=) (hamstring) are dealing with injuries after the first day of minicamp. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Derby looks to be a big piece of the Mike McCoy offense when healthy. He's likely the lead tight end for the Broncos and has been showing good chemistry with Paxton Lynch in practice. Derby is a sneaky TE3 with upside for fantasy owners in 2017. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [IND - TE Larry Donnell trying out for Colts]( Source: The Herald Bulletin - George Bremer Free-agent TE [Larry Donnell](=) (Giants) is trying out for the Indianapolis Colts Tuesday, June 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Donnell hasn't received much interest on the open market. Injuries and inconsistencies have plagued Donnell's career, and he lost the starting job with the Giants to Will Tye last year. The Colts don't have much behind Jack Doyle and Erik Swoope, so we'll see if Donnell can make an impression during this tryout and earn a spot in training camp. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [BAL - Two Ravens back in action]() Source: WNST.net - Luke Jones Baltimore Ravens TE Benjamin Watson (Achilles') and TE [Darren Waller](=) (undisclosed) were back at practice Tuesday, June 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With Dennis Pitta gone, the Ravens need one of their tight ends to emerge. That could very well be Watson. A free agent addition in 2016, Watson's season was cut short by this Achilles' injury. Those aren't as devastating as they used to be, and Watson could be the lead tight end for the Ravens. He had 74 receptions, 825 yards, and 7 touchdowns in 2015 with the Saints but should not produce at that level in 2017. If healthy, projecting him for around 35 catches is more accurate. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [WAS - RB Matt Jones present]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Washington Redskins RB [Matt Jones](=) was spotted at the team's facility Tuesday, June 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cue the Marshawn Lynch "I'm here so I won't get fined" drop. That's why Jones is at mandatory minicamp after skipping all of the team's voluntary workouts. Jones is buried on the depth chart, he's unhappy about that and likely to get traded or released because of it. No matter where he lands, we don't see Jones all of a sudden becoming a fantasy force in the NFL. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [MIA - ILB Lawrence Timmons impressing at workouts]( Source: The Miami Herald - Barry Jackson Miami Dolphins LB Lawrence Timmons has been impressive during offseason workouts and has shown good speed during practice, according to QB [Matt Moore](=). [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Dolphins gave Timmons a two-year, $12 million contract with $11 million guaranteed. They need him to boost their linebacking corps in 2017. Miami was 30th against the run last year, and Timmons should be able to improve that area of their defense.
